Calm and beautiful clear water, soft white sand, excellent snorkeling there and closeby, great beach bar with friendly staff and good food (try the civeche), plenty of space to spread out, great sunsets, plenty of parking and not very touristy in my experience. Hands down my favorite beach in Aruba. We spent 8 hours there one day including sunset and a few more hours another day.

Top 5 in the list ! This is a spectacular beach ! Clear waters and white shine sands , the crowds here it’s very chill and younger . Similar to eagle beach in that sense . Also the bar at the entrance it’s very welcoming and the people are super friendly and the prices of the food and chair rental are much cheaper than in other parts of the island !

My wife and I hopped on a public bus not far from the cruise port and headed to the beach. There are guys there that will rent you chairs and umbrellas, but there are also little huts that provide shade that are free. If someone is using it, and there is still room, ask to share. If you're a cruise person, don't feel you need to buy an excursion, a round trip bus is $5, or for a bit more you can get a day pass. Beach was nice, but watch your footing as some areas have submerged rocks. Bathrooms and showers are $1.

We just loved this beach! We didn’t park in the paved lot, we actually parked along a dirt road a tad north of the paved lot. It was less crowded. I loved the fact that in Aruba there are so many public beach with access to so many free thatched umbrella shelters! This beach, you can walk so far out without the water being super deep. We loved just using our floats and just relaxing. We just happened upon this beach after visiting the lighthouse.

My family loved this beach because it has everything we want: quality sand for sculpting, bigger waves, and a beautiful snorkeling site to see a lot of colorful fish 🐠 also the beach has a good packing lot. If you’re looking for a beach that you can enjoy all day for the whole family, this is it.

I have been visiting Aruba for over 30 years, and this year I am here for a month. Every year I visit Arashi, and this year I was surprised at how busy Arashi was. Apparently, the secret is out about this beautiful beach at the north of the island almost at The California Lighthouse. There is a Beach Shack for food and bathrooms, and there are vendors on the beach who will rent you a chair and umbrella. If you arrive early enough and are lucky, there are also palapas which are free. Arashi is good for lounging and for swimming, and the sand in the ocean is so smooth that it feels like Heaven on the soles of your feet. I am not sure if I would visit Arashi every day, but if you have a car, it is definitely worth spending a day first snorkeling at Boca Catalina, which is close by to Arashi, and then hitting Arashi.

Amazing beach with little to no wave action. It was a great spot for snorkeling and laying on the sand to catch some sun. There is plenty of parking and a bar with ice cream for sale next to it. Highly recommend this beach for some relaxing time. You also get some great views of the California lighthouse from here!

Had a great time at this beach, beautiful blue water. You can rent an umbrella and chairs for about $35 so you won’t be sitting in the sun.

A beautiful small bay, it's not crowded and it's a good snorkeling spot. The water is shallow and you can stand almost till the swimming line. We saw lots of different fish and very close to the shore.

BEST beach on the island, not too many people and hotels like Palm, not as shallow as Baby, and just the right amount of peace and birds chirping if you walk away from the parking lot. It’s also the view you have from the California Lighthouse (and vice versa) AND on the Pelican Adventures tour if you take them.

This is the Northern part of Aruba, you can see Venezuela in the far end over the ocean. It's an open space to take pictures. There's a restaurant nearby. The lighthouse was not opened.

A perfect beach. $1 to use bathroom, chair and umbrella rentals available or bring your own. Beach bar on site. Parking lot is a bit small. Water is shallow. Fun to see the pelicans diving. Very relaxing time.

Great beach, definitely worth the visit. You can rent a chair and umbrella and get drinks and food at the on-site facilities. Or down the beach you can get a spot with less people. If you can get there early the palapas are public regardless of where. Soft sand, few rocks, waves, but mostly gentle.

So beautiful. Very quiet until 10 am. Come by 9:30 to stake out a palapa for free or rent some chairs and an umbrella from Hilton for $40 (up from $20 last year, but he'll still throw in some cold bottles of water for you).

Our favorite beach in Aruba! Beautiful turquoise and calm waters, no waves. Family friendly and relaxing vibe. Not that crowded. Drive a bit north for more parking spaces. The California Lighthouse is 5 minutes away by car.The bar staff is very friendly. The chill beach vibe is like no other.

Great place for snorkeling but limited sea life. Taxi from the high-rise hotels is about $15 each way

Very nice beach, relaxed atmosphere, not overcrowded (at least at this time of the year), pleasant and easy on the eye. The sand is smooth and white, the sea is blue - Caribbean like you picture it in your dreams. And as you can see in the unedited pictures. Also the bar on it is nice.

This is becoming my favorite beach on the island. Snorkel and fins can be rented for $20. Friendly staff and excellent pastechis at the snack bar. Good snorkelling spot.

Arrived around 5pm to enjoy a sunset swim. The water was warm, the breeze was comforting, and there were no crowds (open palapas). You'll see kitesurfers in the distance as the gentle waves caress you towards the sun-kissed, golden shore. It's the most relaxed I've been on a beach in Aruba. Even better, a gorgeous sunset to close the day.

Great place to spend the day. clear shallow water for long stretches, great free snorkeling (bring your own gear) , lots of tropical fish near the rocky water area to see snorkeling. Palm leaf beach umbrellas are there but you might have to arrive early to guarantee one. wind is strong and great area for wind surfing , sailing , paragliding etc. Pro Tip: there are rocks usually around the Palm leaf Umbreallas or in the sea , you can use those to weigh the corners of your towels down so the wind doesn't blow them away.

Family friendly beach, away from the crowded Palm and Eagle beaches. Waves might feel rough right near the water's edge. The beach shack offers umbrella + two lounge chairs rental at US$35 for the day. It includes complimentary access to the shower and washrooms. (Otherwise, those are a dollar for each use.)

Nice calm beach! Public access with free parking. I believe there a bar on south side as well. Little bit rocky and not the best for snorkling. It was windy with small waves.

Personally I think this was the best beach, high rise beach has so many boats that it kind kills the mood in peace. There's rock that you need to be careful of but I loved my time here the whole day. There's people that'll rent out chairs for $5, and small umbrella for $15. It was worth it.

There's a roped off area where no waves will break and the rest is fun for older kids and adults. Beautiful view! The bathroom does cost $1 USD to use.

Great beach. It is quite shallow and you are able to see many fish swimming around. Perfect for snorkeling or just swimming around.

Another fantastic beach! This beach is more crowded than baby beach due to its proximity to major hotels n resorts. I suggest to get there early to get some shade. The water is very calm. Still a nice place to swim and snorkel just like baby beach… just more people. There’s also a bar on site. This is also a nice place to watch the sun set!

Quiet beach. Lots of soft sand. About 0.2 km from the California Lighthouse.

This was the first beach we visited on our recent trip to Aruba. We arrived just before lunch and it was not super crowded. Plenty of parking available and the snack bar was great. The beach and the ocean were perfect that day and we had a great time at Arashi!
