This
beach
is
very
quiet
and
tranquil,
which
was
perfect
for
a
relaxing
visit.
Palm
Beach,
the
high
rise
part
of
the
island,
is
the
opposite
–
multiple
speakers
blaring
different
music
in
all
directions
while
someone’s
on
a
microphone
yelling
out
bingo
numbers.
The
ocean
itself
in
this
part
of
the
beach
wasn’t
particularly
great
for
swimming,
unfortunately.
The
waves
crash
very
close
to
the
shore,
and
if
you
go
beyond
where
they
crash,
it’s
a
steady
stream
of
non-crashing
rippling
waves
that
will
push
you
down
the
beach
toward
the
rocks.
They
have
floats
available
to
rent,
but
it’s
not
really
possible
to
just
have
a
relaxing
float
in
the
water
–
you
have
to
constantly
mind
where
the
water
is
pulling
you.
The
beach
and
water
are
very
beautiful,
with
picturesque
sunsets
each
night
as
well.
Unlike
at
Palm
Beach,
there
were
no
issues
of
seaweed
here.
Other
reviews
mentioned
a
need
for
water
shoes,
but
that
was
absolutely
not
my
experience.
The
sand
is
cool
to
the
touch
and
I
didn’t
notice
any
sharp
rocks
or
shells
upon
entry
into
the
water.
We
were
worried
that
the
wind
would
be
a
major
annoyance,
but
it
wasn’t
too
bad
at
the
resort.
There
was
the
occasional
gust
that
blew
our
drinks
over
if
we
weren’t
careful,
but
it
never
blew
sand
into
our
faces.
When
you
round
the
corner
and
walk
to
Eagle
Beach,
however,
you’ll
definitely
notice
the
wind
more.
We
got
a
lot
more
sand
in
our
faces
then,
and
the
walk
to
the
divi
trees
wasn’t
as
enjoyable
as
it
might
have
been
otherwise.
