This is my favorite restaurant in Aruba! The ambiance is literally a dream - I wish I could make my backyard look like this. They have such soothing live music. It truly feels like a treat just to be dining there. The food (of course) is also phenomenal! The almond crusted grouper is mouth watering! You can’t go wrong with a single item on the menu.

Arguably the best dinner you'll have in Aruba. Perfect quality and cooking, hats off to the Chef and team in general. Special shout to the tuna tartar and almond grouper - perfect crunch on the outside, tender and mouth melting in the inside. Top your dinner off with an exquisite cocktail and you're ready to touch the high on your holidays. Reservation required. If you can, remember to ask to be seated outside - there's live ambient music. Birthday? You got it, they seem to sing you a birthday song at dessert time.

YUM! The drinks were so good and their food was even better. The atmosphere is awesome and the live music was perfect. Everyone that had been to Aruba before my husband and I, were raving about Madame Janettes, so we had to try it. We will definitely be going back, we had a great experience!

Excellent service and amazing food! Max the beer guy was awesome! My husband and I got to try some delicious German beer off his recommendation and we loved it! Our server Bryan also suggested my dinner entree which was superb! Highly recommend. They also kindly brought us a nice dessert to help us celebrate our honeymoon. Everything was amazing!

The real deal. High quality food with great presentations. Very delicious and a great beer selection. Max the beer guy is the man. Very knowledgeable and great suggestions. The Sea Bass was killer good. The lobster roll was very good. Great atmosphere. Great experience.

This restaurant came highly recommended by many people. This place is has a very nice outdoor dinning area with live music. All the food had great presentation, the steak I ordered was pretty good but I ordered a medium rare doneness and it was very rare which luckily I don’t mind so I chose not to ask for it to be cooked longer. My girlfriend had Almond crusted fish which she enjoyed and the desert was good. The waiter at first was attentive but was not around a lot after he took our orders. Overall I would recommend a visit but I was definitely not wowed by this place.

Great atmosphere with amazing food. The almond crusted grouper might be the best dish on the island and the best dish I have ever had. If that doesn't fill you up, try any one of their amazing desert options including the famous "Spoon".

Celebrated our anniversary here and the experience was unforgettable! The staff were lovely, food was exquisite, and the overall vibe was on point. Best culinary experience on the island! Portions are big so I would order less rather than more (we couldn’t finish our mains).

Incredible experience after not being here in 9 years. Absolutely wonderful meal with friends. It is white asparagus season in Holland and they have numerous appetizers and meals featuring this wonderful vegetable at this time. I had the Cordon Bleu stuffed with asparagus and others had different dishes. All were excellently prepared. The live entertainment was also well done. All in all a great time on the 1st night back to Aruba.

Get the bone in rib-eye cooked medium !! AMAZING! Probably the best steak we had in the island. Service was great. Potato Au gratin was the best side! Spinach came in second. We had no complaintS! Also ambiance and live music A+

Good: Pretty good food, live music (if you like that), huge beer selection, large portions (if you’re really hungry). Not so good: Server seemed frenzied (so maybe they need more staff), the escalope entree was absolutely massive (which results in wasted food since I’m sure most diners are tourists). It seems like this is one of the most popular restaurants on the island, and while I’d recommend trying it, I’d caution that it has a much more lively atmosphere than somewhere like Quinta Del Carmen or Whilhelmina.

I liked it here very busy, if you sit closer to the entrance outside it's quieter. Food good, I had the Asian soy red snapper, on a bed of mashed potatoes, but in hindsight I think the grouper with creamed spinach would have been a lighter meal. Cocktails wonderful.

Visited on 4/27/23. First off the door man is all the vibes. We went as a walk-in and the host was able to get us a reservation within 40 mins- so we got a drink at the bar,not only was the drink delicious but was strong too(yay) i ordered a raspberry cooler. For dinner we both order the almond grouper which was perfection. The service was above excellent and not to mention the staff were good-looking too ;). It was our last day of vacation and we ran out of cash, so we could only tip on card but each of the servers/bartenders that tended to us deserve there own individual tip. This dinner spot was definitely a highlight of our trip & will be a top recommendation to friends and family.

Amazing food and service. The lobster ravioli is a must. For mains we had the Mario Andretti schnitzel and the almond crusted grouper. Sides were the spatzle and the potato gratin. For desert we went for the chocolate soufflé. It was amazing! Desert was great. Highly recommend the soufflé if you want something smallish and shareable. The mains were huge, more than we are used to typically at home. Make a reservation in advance to ensure you get a table!

Top spot to visit when you’re in Aruba. Atmosphere is perfect for the island. The buildout of the restaurant from rock flooring, lighting and aesthetics to the live music is great. Service is very good. Awesome drink menu especially the cocktails! The tomahawk steak was phenomenal will blow your hair back! Cocktails had ya feel’n JUICY!!!! Aruba is a happy island for a reason.

Favorite restaurant on the island. Had the tenderloin cutting board and the wife had the Asian soy miso seabass which is her favorite dish on the island. Good size portions where you will not go home hungry.

This restaurant is just a WOW! It is by far the best dining experience we had in the island and we went to some wonderful places. The location and decor of the restaurant is spectacular. The serving staff outstanding. Totally engaging and friendly. We were a party of 8. The food was served promptly and piping hot. It is a large restaurant with many large parties. They seem to be a very very well operated. The food is beyond delicious, it is outstanding! We had the cutting board tenderloin for 1 & 2 and the MJ short rib beef burgers. For dessert we had the chocolate soufflé and red velvet cake. It was a wonderful experience and highly recommended. If you are visiting Aruba this is a must go to restaurant. If you go for two weeks or more book two reservations. A memorable dining experience. Bravo!

Our first time could have been better I am sure. We had Ricky for a waiter and he was not very good. We spent 2 full hours from the time we sat down and checked out for 4 people. Had to ask repeatedly for several items. We ordered the tomahawk steak which looked better than it tasted. Steak was cold. Fries came out cold. Our sauces we ordered for steak didn’t come out with steak. Took another 5-8 mins to get sauces. All the side dishes were excellent. Lobster bisque was very different than normal. Dessert look amazing. Kitchen, bathrooms and bar area was extremely clean and well serviced. The atmosphere was romantic bit tables mostly sat on gravel. Bugs seemed to be bad at our tables. Mostly bit our legs under table. The have a 57.00 hamburger for 2. It was the biggest hamburger i have ever seen. Truly huge.

Fantastic place to get dinner! I was vacationing with my family and decided to go big for the night. From the Tomahawk for 2 and MJ F'n Big Burger the food didn't disappoint! Even though our sever cautioned us on the size of the burger... We said the heck with it and let's see how far the boys can go! Trust me, my 13 & 11 yr old boys could only house half of it! However, yay us! Free lunch tomorrow 😉 Ps. The burger was well prepared, juicy, the 11 yr old said "it melts in your mouth" and I had a small piece and agree! The wife and I enjoyed the tomahawk for 2. First the presentation was great, it comes out on a huge wood cutting board where your server slices it and dresses it with glorious garlic butter. The meat was seasoned well with care taken to not over power it and preserved the meat's natural flavor. It was also slightly chard to enhance it's flavor but, not over chard. It was served with 3 sauces, of which the lemon butter was the best IMO. For the sides, The au gratin potatoes (which were noted as "famous" on the menu) didn't disappoint! The salad wasn't bad but, didn't fully match up to the rest. Still with everything else... This place was a hit! Be prepared for the price tag though, it's pricy but, you get what you pay for!

Absolutely amazing! My family and I’s first time going after many suggestions from friends and wow! Our waiter Christopher and the rest of the staff were so attentive. Drinks and foods were outstanding and the atmosphere was so magical. Worth the extra $. Will definitely be returning on our next trip :) Thank you MJ’s!

Went here for dinner on Friday night. They gave us the seat next to the entrance. We could not see the live music. The drinks were good but took a while to get. For the price the food was average and the service was not very good. The spaetzle was dry and the potatoes gratin very oily. Steak ordered medium but was well done. There are better restaurants on the island so save your money and time.

Was a little bit disappointed with the food. Ordered the Almond Crusted Grouper and even though it was good, the flavor/texture became overwhelming and couldn’t finish it

We have been here a few times. But this last time, I’m left a bit disappointed. So when we walked in, the restaurant was empty and we asked to be seated wherever it would be the most private. They said ok and proceeded to sit us in the corner where the seats were lopsided, flies everywhere (idk why the flies were specifically in that corner, probably the dirty plant pot that was there) and looked disheveled. Literally the whole night whoever they tried to seat over there said no. So I’m sure the staff already knew that this seat is not ideal. So my thing is, why would they sit us over there when it was empty and there were plenty of other private areas in the restaurant? It almost made us think it was some kind of inside joke to them. Also in general there are a lot of flies in the restaurant… they need to figure something out. Anyway, what upset me even more is that they plated my entree wrong (wrong side dish) and all that had to be done was for it to be re-plated. My husband got his food already and by the time I got my food, my husband was pretty much done eating. Not cool. 4 stars is for FOOD ONLY. They have a massive burger and it was absolutely amazing. My husband says it’s the best burger he’s ever had. I had the sea bass and it was just perfect. The vegetables and Asian soy glaze sauce is the perfect combination.

Excellent food. Great steaks. Great atmosphere. Live music. Excellent service. Red Velvet cake is tasty. Must have. Reason for lack of 5-star is because the menus smelled moldy. Get rid of the old menu covers, please.

This place was AMAZING, we ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp 😋 Almond Crusted Grouper and the Vienna Style Schnitzel, our meals were DELICIOUS, service was very attentive and atmosphere was great the live entertainment was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely return on a future trip.

Unfortunately I have to take a star off due to the service. From the hostess to the waiter need improvement. Staff needed to be more friendly and helpful. However the bartenders were fantastic. The food was great but they forgot 1/2 of the order in our party. We had to start eating because our food was getting cold and 2 people didn’t have their food. We order the almond grouper and was fantastic. Two people in our party order the massive burger for two and it was good but undercook probably because they were rushing it. The tres leches cake was fantastic.
