What a unique experience! We got a spot off a waiting list. I love the chef, Erwin. He was so sweet and down to earth and he accommodated all of my food restrictions with such grace. The food was all delicious and unique and different. Something you wouldn’t get anywhere else. The experience itself was well orchestrated with breaks in between meals and social time with your fellow diners. We loved it!

Fantastic multi-course dinner experience. The owner and the chef were very accommodating, informative, and friendly. While the atmosphere is quite informal, the wine selection and the food are far from the informality that the environment would suggest. The chef does his final preparations directly in front of the guests and then discusses each dish before serving.

Wonderful time! This is a 3 to 4 hour fixed price 5.5 course meal with optional wine pairings. Think of your meal as an experience of shared food and friendship with 17 total diners and an amazing chef and host. A memorable night with great food and conversation. We plan to return next year! It is difficult to get reservations, so if you don't get in before your arrival, call daily around 11 am. We were lucky to get in after someone cancelled.

Didn’t know what to expect, was let down tremendously. No entertainment to speak of, food took forever... left after a drink and the salad and was charged the full meal. Would not recommend to anyone. Iguana Joes downtown was twice the meal and half the price. Don’t waste your time and money on these cons.

The best part about this restaurant experience was the customer service. The food was delicious but not worth the price. We spent $500+ for two and none of the dishes blew me away. Delicious yes, but not blown away, which I'd expect at that price tag. I've had similar dinning experiences and this is one that didn't hit the mark. I'm only judging tonight's menu. I'm sure they change it all the time. We did the wine pairing for $70. It was fine. the "reserve" pairing sounded better but not worth $130 IMO. Dessert was visually pleasing but disappointing to taste. Too sweet, lacked creativity in the flavor pairing.

The overall experience I had was positive and each individual dish was good on its own. However, the progression was lacking because each dish was super heavy and rich, laden with fat and butter. I myself prefer to have a reprieve and a variety. The most notable dishes included the lobster cappuccino and the halibut with corn soup (pic before soup added). If you enjoy a decadent tour and don’t mind feeling slightly greasy after, this may be for you.

An absolutely amazing dining experience! Worth every penny and more. The host is engaging, the set up is great and the food was beyond delicious. This was one of the best tasting menus we’ve ever tried. Portion size was perfect. We will be going back very soon :)

We had a great evening tasting food and wine here! I would give it more stars if it was possible. We aren't picky eaters, so we loved it all. There was one picky eater next to us and we could tell she enjoyed the wine a bit more than the food. But if you are open to trying something new this is definitely the spot. We would definitely come back again, well worth it!

Loved this place. The two fools were knowledgeable and created an atmosphere of intimacy. The 5.5 course meals were each delightful and different. The sommelier did a great job with the wine pairings to ensure the maximum enjoyment per dish. The lamb and skirt streak were amazing. Definitely worth a try! Will visit again and highly recommend!

Paulo and Bas are amazing! Paul entertains with wit and Bas entertains with mouthwatering menu for the evening. Food is outstanding not only in presentation but in taste, very delectable.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Roger keeps the evening going with wine pairings, interesting stories from his experiences around the world and is very approachable. Roy is an amazing chef who prepares for you 5.5 delicious small plate dishes. The skirt steak, slow cooked lamb, and his take on surf and turf were some of the highlights of the night. We ended up being there for 4.5 hours drinking, eating, talking with the other tourists and our hosts. Would highly recommend for a unique vacation experience!

As past patrons of this restaurant, having the experience with 3 different chefs I must say it's hasn't been the same since Fred left. This last experience was not good. Cucumber soup with goat cheese foam is not a great way to start off meal when you're not a fan of goat cheese ( I was not the only one unhappy). The salmon was good, but, the portion too large. I was not happy with thr seafood soup. The duck breast was also good but, the confit was dry and overcooked. The entree of pork loin was very good but, the pork stew was way too salty. Desert was ok although, weird and unusual. When Fred was the chef I couldn't find anything I'd complain about. It used to be the very best dining experience, I hope as time goes by the new owner and chef can bring it back to the great restaurant it once was. I wish them well. ***This review was first posted on TripAdvisor in March 2019. The owner responded rudely and dishonestly. We most certainly did interact with all the guests that evening. A couple from Canada. A couple from the States that have a home in Aruba and a couple from PA that were both nurses vacationing with her Father. My Dad had a medical problem and had a problem eating that evening so he took his meal to go. We did not make an issue of it. I write this post because I want others to know that if you post, it can only be possitive and nothing critical or you too will be asked not to return!

The best place in my life

A Food Tasting Experience On our most recent visit to the sunny island we decided to venture to 2 Fools and a Bull to experience something new, and we had a heck of a time. The doors open promptly at 7:00pm, no sooner or later. Both the chef (Edwin) and host (Rich) greeted us and welcomed us into their establishment. We were directed to the back patio for some champagne and to get to know one another. There were only 16 of us and this is done by design. The evening is made up of 5 courses which can be paired with wine if desired, but wine can be purchase by the glass. Pours are fair, but not generous. Seating is done at a large “U” shaped table offering the chance to converse with other attendees, and see some of the food preparations. The menu changes every 2 to 3 months so one can visit on another year and get something completely different. Our courses were excellent, with the exception of the beef tenderloin which was OK. The Jack Daniels sauce while quite good was a bit heavy and took away from the overall flavour of the beef. The other courses consisted of a amazing pastry with some tomato soup, salmon Tatar, scallops, beef tenderloin and some excellent pastries for dessert. The overall experience (3 hours) is what makes the night something special. Talking with different people, sampling good food and enjoying some good wine. How can you go wrong. If you have the chance its worth the visit.

This place is hands down the best gourmet chef's table restaurant on the island. The food and wine pairing, with the perfect background music in perfectly harmony! Chef Urwin...the food was excellent! Rick our host was very attentive to all the guest! Prepare to experience a diverse palette of tastes!

An excellent experience, very much enjoyed. Food was great, enjoyed every dish. Would recommend a few things: would invite guests to the patio prior to 7 - did not enjoy having to stand outside due to early arrival. Would not have reserved seating - you may make connections and want to sit next to one or the other party. Would also recommend the bar be straightened as one area on the end can really feel like you are on an island separate from the other guests.

Where to begin... This dining experience is one of a kind. From the food to the wine paring to the service- everything was excellent. Rick explained every wine paring and was so helpful throughout.. the chef (who's name I can't remember) was so descriptive with each dish and you could tell he takes pride in his work. It's more than just food it's art. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly unique dining experience.

We had dinner at the TWO FOOLS AND A BULL on September 3rd 2019, it was perfect❣️ The food was delicious, the presentation and taste was fantastic. We enjoyed all the courses. An absolute treat and a highpoint for our wonderful visit to Aruba. My wife and I were on the waiting list for about a month prior to our trip. It seats 16 and it was fully booked in advance the entire time we were in town. We got lucky and there was a cancellation. We began meeting our dinner companions as each arrived, standing outside in the beautiful weather waiting for the doors to open, right at 7 pm. The group was delightful, and included a surgeon, an anesthesiologist, a nurse, a urologist, a financier and a global businessman with their spouses, partners, or friends. They had all booked a year in advance. The company was engaging, Paulie and Bas were delightful, and the food was absolutely heavenly.

As advertised, the two fools delivered a very memorable experience. From the quality and presentation of the food, to the wine pairing to the intimate experience talking with them and other diners, this was a fantastic night. We made our reservations in November for a March date. Great job guys.

All I can say is my my my my my what an experience. From the wine pairings to the quick presentation before each meal. Everything was top notch and I truly enjoyed myself. First time doing a five course tasting in this manner and I would not hesitate to book this again. Words cannot express the enjoyment I had with each meal and wine pairing. I’m a foodie in this place hit the spot.

The food and experience here were first class. Owner was very knowledgeable and personal. Chef was amazing. Every dish of the five course dinner was spectacular. Love how they create a sense of community within your small group to enjoy this one of a kind experience together. Their attention to detail and personalization is also remarkable.

Food was absolutely stunning, and delicious! Experience and service was also amazing, so attentive, informative and helpful. I think the biggest downside is when someone at the table doesn’t enjoy a dish, the host and chef definitely show their disappointment which may be awkward or uncomfortable. But I blame the guest for not being open to what is being served to them. The experience is clearly described everywhere from the website to trip advisor to Google. My only complaint about the atmosphere is that the AC is definitely not strong enough and during the break leaving the door open to the restaurant makes it uncomfortable hot when you’re going into course 4/5. My husband and I went here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was an amazing experience. Great delicious food! I knew going into this there would be things I usually wouldn't eat and it did not disappoint. I usually hate pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and raw salmon, but man....... that salmon was soo delicious I forgot it wasn't cooked. I wish I was able to experience the wine pairings with the meals but there was no way I would have been able to finish all the delicious courses and I'm not much of a wine drinker. I think the price is reasonable without wine pairing. There were other options offered for drinks if you didn't want to do the wine pairing.

Certainly the best restaurant in Aruba. Whether it is the food, service or atmosphere, two fools and a bull is the ideal example of a dream like restaurant. As for the food, whilst artsy and gourmet, it still preserves the traditional flavors of every ingredient in its wide selection of dishes, that only seem to surprise you with every bite you take. The service is impecable. The fact that the owner, Rotger, himself serves you, gives a warm proximity to the restaurant, few can offer. In addition, the carefully selected wines are a plus to the restaurant. For sure, a must in Aruba.

What an amazing experience! First of all the concept is just awesome, the food and wine were spectacular (creative, yet filling, quality in every bite) and by the end of the night a group of complete strangers became friends. The shots of fireball at end of the evening didn’t hurt either. Highly, highly recommend, this NJ couple had a blast!
