Check in was slow. Rooms were great. Breakfast was very good. Would of been nice to have some bottled water in the room. Showers in the room were amazing! Good location and just 10 mins walk from some of the local bars and restaurants. Pool is also huge and plenty of space.

Went there on honeymoon. Reservation through booking. We had a problem with our flight and lost a night. They agreed to shorten the stay at no extra charge. First great detail about this hotel. On arrival warm welcome, easy check-in, welcome drinks. πŸ”₯ We get to our room and it was a pool side one. We had booked a cheaper one but they upgraded us. Fruit waiting on the room with a congrats note. πŸ‘ Room is modern and nice lots of space. Modern TV. WiFi working well. Nice bathroom. Had a little problem with the loo. It was late but maintenance came and fixed it in less than 10 mins. Location is good. IMO Aruba is a place to go for the beach and few island tours. It is not a mediterranean location where you have the cute towns with medieval city center filled with shops, bars and restaurants for you to roam about. Instead Aruba has a couple of touristy areas where entertainment can be found. Very American style. The best one was close to the hotel. 10 mins walking. First time you struggle to find the sidewalk but then it's easy. Area is 1000 percent save. We also visited other beaches and the one close to the hotel was the best for everyday use. When you see it for the first time it is literally breathtaking. You will be very happy to be there. Amazing view, water, sand, sunset, nice snorkeling, plenty of space to swim, white sand... I was there last week and I already miss it. They have free shuttle with a golf cart and there is a guy dedicated for that so you can go and come to and from the beach as you like. Sunbeds area is one of the most exclusive ones due to it being very blended with nature and under a tree with iguanas and birds. A hotel is being built where their sunbeds are so I don't know I lf they will manage to keep them there or will have to move them. If you want to visit other places or beaches you can take a taxi. They are cheap (17 dollars to city center). You can also rent a car but honestly Aruba is not a place to explore everyday. You can do so with tours. If you stay at this hotel the best thing to do is to go to the beach and then to the restaurant and bar areas. Eat, swim and chill. You should do a quad tour or any guided tour around the Island and also visit the flamingo island. After you visit the flamingo Isand you will be back in the city center at 7 and the you can explore, but you'll see there is nothing to see. Food at the hotel was so so, Aruba is very expensive in general, specially for Europeans. Average of 60 dollars a meal for 2 people taking it easy. And they are used to American tourist so the expect tips. Leaving 10% is the minimum. Breakfast at the hotel was poor and expensive but walking everymornign 10 mins to the other restaurants with the intense heat can be annoying. Make your choice. Price in the other restaurants is the same but quality is much better. We also ate at the pool bar. Quality there was very good πŸ‘. Overall very good stay for our honeymoon. The hotel staff were all amazing and friendly, like all the people in Aruba, who have been very nice. I'm Spanish and a lot of them spoke Spanish and English. Lot of Latino vibe and music which for me is always amazing to experience a culture close to mine.

The location is fantastic! So many walkable restaurants and Bird scooters all around. There is no shuttle. Taxi to and from the airport was $35 (All I had was US which is like $63 Aruban Florin. There aren't "views" which is nice because most of the decks are private. There seems to be construction ongoing as this hotel is essentially COMBINED with the Courtyard Marriott. The hotel rooms were great. We had an almost full kitchen with a stove top and a really nice large shower with no tub which is awesome as I was travelling with my young teen.

Top notch service from start to finish! Grounds were clean and inviting. The pools were perfect. They also have a swim up bar! The rooms were nice and big and clean but I gave a 4 because I could not get a hot shower. Jose was the best along with the entire staff. And the restraunt food was very good too! I would stay here again!

It was good for what we needed. It's on the far end of the hotels but everything is walkable and if you rented a car it's no major issue. We enjoy the food, shower and pool provided by this hotel and the covid center, which was alot cheaper than the airport being next door was a great bonus. My only complaint was the tvs were older and the cables was buggy which stunk when we were resting between excursions. Cosmetically the room had some nick and bumps and things that were slightly broken but didn't affect the quality. Overall solid place best bang for your buck.

This is one of the older resorts, recently acquired by Marriott's Courryard. I was pleasantly surprised by the nicely modernized facilities. The room was very well appointed. Definitely worth a closer look if you are looking for a plafe to stay in Aruba

Recently visiting while celebrating our wedding anniversary. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Pool area always very nice to enjoy. Our room was very clean and with plenty of space. Wish they had additional blankets in the room as the AC ran very cold during the night. When we arrived to the hotel we were told by the taxi driver the hotel was no longer The Mills Resort but Courtyard by Marriott. When we arrived the name was on the building and was very confusing as our reservation was made on Expedia and this information was not updated. Hotel is located in a great area close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Beaches are close and just gorgeous. The hotel has courtesy shuttle to their private beach, it left lots to desire. This space is located between the RIU resort hotel and a public beach. When we arrived to the hotel beach it was basically under a tree and in front of a construction zone, with a barge off the beach for the construction… just terrible. We ended up spending Beach time on the public beach and eagle beach. The pool area definitely needs a second jacuzzi as people tend to sit in it longer than they should and based on the size of the property they should have a second jacuzzi. Overall nice stay, great place to stay if you want to stay away from large resort chains and want a more private stay. Hotel recommended

This place is a mix of regular hotel visitors and timeshare stays. The breakfast buffet is lovely. The bar has great drinks, the staff is fun and playful, and they even have fun little events throughout your stay to keep you entertained. Truthfully, you could stay on property and be content. However you’re in a very walkable area, so it would be a shame to not leave the premises. There are free rides from the hotel to the beach, and they will set up chairs for you and provide towels as well. A short stroll away from great bars and restaurants and clubs. Rooms are clean, spacious, with plenty of storage. I had a wonderful stay! Reliable internet connection as well!

Amazing stay! I would give it more than 5 🌟 if I could. Service was FANTASTIC. I cannot get enough of the poolside iguanas! It's literally like the zoo next to a swim up bar which is my dream

No views from any rooms. Service was good and staff pleasant. Good breakfast at their restaurant. Some rooms are near a disco next door. You can hear the music between midnight and four. Be sure to ask for a room not facing the disco. Shuttle to eagle Beach. No on foot access. Reasonable Cody. Nice fitness room.

Great room with a full kitchen. Plenty of space. They could have improved the shower door design because it leaked out a bit. We just dealt with it by placing a rolled up towel to dam it. The air conditioning unit does not have auto shut off. Of course you can set the temperature, but its on or off so if it's on you having continuous loud noise. I like the fact that its a small scale hotel, so the pool and garden area did not feel over crowded. Always return your pool towel for the towel card at the end of the day to avoid any difficulties. It is within walking distance to the main strip of Palm Beach hotels and restaurants (about 5 minutes) and I like the fact that I was not on the strip but close enough to it. They have a shuttle to the beach or you can walk(about 7 mins.). The best shuttle driver is name Sandy. She is friendly, make you laugh and will make great conversations with you. Ask Sandy anything about the island..places to go, food. Sandy makes a point to learn your name and really makes you feel like a friend.

In all my years of travelling the world, this has been without a doubt the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The staff is exceptionally unfriendly and sometimes borderline hostile. The cherry on top is that they automatically charge a 15% service fee. I would not reccomend anyone come here.

It's the Marriott. I ate from the bar area on my first night only. There is a restaurant, but I'm not sure if the menu is the same as the bar next to it. The room was adequate with a patio area. It is within walking distance to a (tourist) area with souvenir shops, familiar and unfamiliar restaurants and convinenence shops.

Took note on the website the hotel is named The Mill Resort but is is actually called Marriott Courtyard. Staff is friendly. Room is clean. Only the airco makes a lot of noise. There are some shops and restaurants nearby. It is situated at the beginning of the high rising hotels

the room service menu is super trash but..... it's an amazing place and experience and everyone is so welcoming and nice unlimited food and liquor is the name of the game and you get alot of it

The Mill and the Courtyard are the same location, both managed by Trust Hospitality. I stayed at the Mill's where they have rooms with kitchenettes. Very convenient when you stay for a long times. Those rooms are also in the back, far from the road. If you want a room for working remotely, take a family studio with a king size bed and kitchen. There is a table inside. I preferred the garden view, to be in the back. I recommend the second floor, quieter and less humid. If you prefer a swimming pool view, the music starts around 8 and stops at 9. With the windows closed, you don't hear anything. The main trouble can come from your neighbours: rooms share doors to become family rooms. It means that you pretty much hear everything when someone is in the other room. The hotel is very well maintained with a large swimming pool. Honestly it's a big pool for an hotel that is not that big. They clean it every night, filtering the water entirely. Happy hour with half price cocktails at the pool bar is from 5 to 7. The staff is super nice and helpful. The 20USD buffet for breakfast is really worth it. The kitchen is decent, with fresh products. All in all, this is a real good deal and I enjoyed a lot my stay there.

I will say that everyone at the hotel was great, and the day manager was the greatest and he helped me when I had to leave early to see my wife. I would tell everyone to go here and enjoy your vacation to Aruba

I stayed at this resort in August 2019, just as it was going through some major renovations for Marriott acquisition. Besides some construction noise and pool bar being closed everything else was top-notch and brand new. The staff was super helpful too, loved it!

We spend a few days in the hotel, but it's like a week. I could relax and enjoy the kids swimming in the pools. We had breakfast in the Courtyard. The service was excellent πŸ‘Œ and the waiters are very kindly. I REALLY WANT TO SPEND A LARGER VACATION IN THE MILL. 😊

The Mill resort is now ' The Marriott courtyard ' being taken over by the Marriott group of hotels. It has been completely renovated and modernised. Conveniently located nearby the beach and away from the busy hotel area. It is a nice and quiet location to relax.

Overall a nice hotel consisting of 2 floors only. Quite a cosy feeling. No direct access to the beach, but its also only a few minutes walk. Shuttle available for the more lazy ones. Downside is that there currently is a big construction site at the beach. So was not very inviting to lay there. Pool area is inviting and the food at the hotel restaurant is quite ok and not too overpriced for palm beach. There can be longer waiting times at reception as snacks and drinks you buy from the market also needs to be payed there. Despite of that Staff was helpful and friendly. Room we had was big enough for 3. Airco a bit noisy and coffe unfortunately was not refilled during our stay. Overall we had a nice stay :) Btw..hotel is meanwhile called courtyard marriott

It's was almost perfect butl Allegra restaurant supervisor said I can't have my own DutyFree alcohol bottle on the table because my room wasn't ready at 5pm and I started mixing my liquor with there drinks because it wasn't strong. That rule should be exhausted because I'm still purchasing from you.

When you book the room online, they don’t say nothing about construction. 2 the sheets are not changed, had to leave a note after 4 days of not having my sheet changed, the cleaning ladies are nice, The style of the hotel is really different from other hotels and really nice, personaly I liked it, The room was nice , had everything needed in it, also the pool great, the location is near to beach, u can walk even if there is not no shuttle bus, the other restaurants they are near and you can walk and have a variety of restaurants foods, bars etc, the price of the room also convenient, the restaurant not that bad,the biggest complaint that I have is the beach area when they send the mill resort customers is really dirty and even though we asked the reception to send someone to clean it, no one did nothing about it, and if u walked just a little bit 10 m down that area, you could see the difference in the sand in front of other resorts. This Hotel is Great and is convenient and is understandable to be the way it is considering the price, but is really lacking on costumer service

I just stayed here September 13-18. They charged me twice one time when I checked in abs the day after I left I have been trying to get my money back for a week . No one will return my call email or nothing … they are ignoring me . If I was you I would not trust them with any of your cards on file . Put a card you don’t use .

This hotel is a hidden gem. With all the fancy hotels around you may miss it. The location is great for getting around easily using the bus or taxi. The hotel is quite and clean. Great amenities and live entertainment nightly, daily happy hour and even a after hour club right nextdoor. I'm not easily impressed.

On the outside this resort doesn’t look like the other ones on palm beach but don’t be fooled. The rooms are very clean, the staff is beyond helpful and friendly and the amenities are great. There is towel service available and the main city centre is a 5 minute walk. The pool at the resort is very clean and super nice to swim or just chill in. Room service is quick and front desk is very accommodating. Big shoutout to Ursula the towel lady she made our stay so much better with her friendliness.

The hotel has several highlights such as location, cleanliness and service from the staff. However, I had a problem which was not resolved and they ignored my emails and my contact attempts. I paid for my extra expenses in cash and they also charged my credit card, so far I haven't received a refund, so be very careful when checking out.

My advice is to NEVER, EVER plan to stay at The Mill Resort, based on the terrible way they have treated me. I reserved a room almost two months in advance through a major Booking site. 48 hours before arrival they message me they cannot guarantee having a room for me because of overbooking but are working very hard to make a room available for me. 20 hours before arrival they canceled my reservation through the booking site - no direct notification to me. I had asked the hotel "if you don't have a room for me, will you assist with alternative accommodation" and their reply was "no, it is up to you to find other accommodation, but we will waive the cancelation penalty for your reservation". REALLY!!!! YOU canceled my booking and you are generously waiving YOUR cancelation penalty!! To top it off, on the same site I made the reservation, the same room type is now showing as available for the same dates as my reservation, but at 3x the price I had reserved for!! This hotel is completely shameless and despicable. I'm now happy that I will not be staying there!!
