Just finished a great stay at this property. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom door didn't slide all the way shut which left a gap. This could be a problem if you are traveling with your teenagers for example. The front desk always seemed to have a line up of people. The breakfast area was great with super friendly staff. The food was surprisingly really good for a hotel. You have the option to shuttle to the beach or walk. The beach didn't offer any restrooms or drink service. But overall it was quiet and relaxing.

Don’t be fooled, a cheaper resort doesn’t mean that it’s any less good. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay from start to end and had no issues whatsoever. Room service took great pride in cleaning the room. I had issues with the safe one night and I got immediate help. Made good friends with the massage ladies, Ursula was one of our best friends at the resort. She was always excited to see us and had great stories to share. If and when I come back to Aruba I know where to stay. Generally all of the staff were pleasant. Gym was decent for a hotel. The resort was never busy, and had a relaxed more intimate feel to its environment as opposed to some of the more expensive hotels across the street. Breakfast buffet was a great option, although lunch and dinner were a bit more pricey, and weren’t buffet. Pool was great to swim in , or lay back in. All around a 5 star experience.

I extended my family’s stay in Aruba with a multiple rooms for a few nights at the Courtyard. I was expecting a typical courtyard experience - efficient and clean. What I experienced was nothing like that. Took forever to checkin, understaffed, was not offered my titanium status options. Its situated close to the road and the security is nonexistent for people to walk in to the property from the road. The bistro service was slow and was crazy expensive for an average buffet offering. After checkout I asked for the typical email folio. Of course the cc charge was immediate but it took 4 phone calls to Marriott and 3 weeks later to receive it and it was at a total charge level instead of a detail accounting and there are differences from my reserved rate to my cc charge. Its been 6 weeks since my stay and I am still chasing the rewards points and night stay credits in my Bonvoy account. Forget about emailing or calling the hotel directly. No response to emails and they don’t answer calls. voicemail queues are full and you can’t leave a message. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel again.

All was great except the mattress was old and not very supportive. Loved being away from the party noise of the bigger fancy hotels on the strip. You can’t see the ocean from the hotel. All rooms face into the pool. Had the best deep tissue massage ever and I have had many!!! If you have any aches or pains I highly recommend it. Don’t miss the golf cart shuttle to the beach. They have staff on the beach to give you lounge chairs. We figured that out on the second last day.

The position of this hotel is fantastic, this Courtyard by Marriott is a great deal for couples or traveling families, being just 3/5 minutes walk from the beach, but they also offer free shuttle rides to the beach that are even faster. For fun at night, in less than 10 minutes walk you’ll be surrounded by beautiful restaurants and stores with many options to spend a perfect evening walking or relaxing with family and friends. The staff at this courtyard by Marriott is very nice as well, especially at the reception and at the bar. The rooms were clean, spotless, and with good cleaning services; the pool is simply perfect for families and kids. For eating there are many choices to choose from. My favorite is the spaghetti bolognese, but you can ask for most everything and they will try to make it from high quality ingredients. I had a great time here and I hope I will have the chance to come back soon. Thank you for giving us a magnificent stay.

The position of this Courtyard is great, 8 minutes walk from the beach, but they also offer free rides to the beach. With 10 minutes you have Palm Beach center, beautiful place where to spend the evenings. The people here is nice, especially Ms. Jaki at the reception is a lovely woman who can give good advices for your stay. The rooms are clean, spotless, with good service of cleaning; the breakfast is simply perfect, there is anything you can desire an everything is made with high quality ingredients. I hope I will have the chance to come back one day. Thank you for giving us a magnificent stay

Let’s start with something positive. The hotel is fine. The furniture is quite new. The staff is friendly. And the breakfast buffet is okay. You get the same food everyday with the exception of sweets, they vary a little each day. You can request an omelette or some other egg dish, which is included in your stay when you have chosen half-pension. The staff at the buffet are really friendly as well. The pool isn’t that big, but large enough. Now the negative. The rooms are incredibly soundy. There are 2 levels with rooms. We had our room on the ground level. We heard every little thing our neighbours were doing. The floors in the hallway are made of stone. And they drive around with metal carts which make the most horrible sound. They start doing this around 6 in the morning, so you won’t have to set an alarm on your phone when you want to get up this early. The staff seem to like eachother a lot, or not, since they are yelling at each other in the hallways both at night and early in the morning. You can hear everything here, since the rooms are barely sound proof. I doubt the rooms on the upper floor are any better. Some of our clothes were stolen from our room. Presumably by the cleaners. If you value your stuff, put everything in the safe. Definitely your wallet and electronics. This hotel is fine if you’re okay with broken nights of sleep and the possibility of your stuff getting stolen.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel because it was affordable, welcoming, and accommodating! The staff was always ready to go above to help. The rooms were nice- I had the king with the sofa bed in the ground floor. Also, the rooms do come with a fridge and microwave! However, unfortunately money was removed from my purse that was inside my closet. I went to the front t desk to complain- I'm not sure what the result should have been, but it was left unresolved. Put your valuables in the safe!

Not ready for prime time! The hotel is a fine mid price hotel however the recently reopened as Courtyard had too many room and service issues to be fully enjoyable (phone system constantly down, backed up toilets, laundry not operable, etc). And service (including check in etc was very slow. Space was nice and pretty clean and staff friendly, but not quite worth overlooking everything else.

Hotel is middle of the road option for this location in Aruba, not the nicest and not the worst. It’s a good option for someone who wants a luxury experience in Aruba without the beach front property. Pros: 1. Pool is awesome- swim up bar, great music 2. Location is 5 min walk from the beach. Hotel offers a free “shuttle to beach” which is just a lift in the employees car- but it did the job! Cons: 1). Room did have a small amount of ants 2). Poor sewage drainage outside of hotel when walking into town— piles of sewage on grass / bad small. Some rooms would get a drift of this smell

Upon arrival I was involuntarily rebooked into a different room type (one without a couch facing the parking lot) and told because of the length of my stay (8 nights) I had wait until the next day to resolve the matter because they were unable to accommodate a change. Of course, I was peeved but thought it was an honest error. Well, it wasn’t. In fact I had to go through three rooms (one had a stopped up shower) before I was able to be assigned an acceptable room. It took from Monday to Thursday before I could settle in to my first vacation in two years. T he front desk staff (Adelaide?) had no personality or customer service skills AT ALL. She should be relegated to the back office only. The front desk supervisor ducked me the first few days while I was having room issues and never proactively followed up or tried to remedy the situation. What’s the point of having photos on the website if you’re not going to be assigned the room type you purchased?? Anyway, I could go on and on about the mediocre bar food and high priced drinks but I won’t This place is a hike from the beach and while there is a jeep that will take you, when you get to the ‘public beach’ there are no shelters or umbrellas for your use and the St. Regis is being built right there so there’s no peace with your waves either. The pool and cabanas were nice if a bunch of screaming kids aren’t around. Overall, spend a little extra and book the other Marriott. It’s about ¾ mile away and right on the beach. I’m sure it’s a better stay.

The property is nice enough, but the service here leaves something to be desired. As a titanium elite, I had asked them during my mobile checkin to set aside a pool view room for me. When I arrived they said the room wasn’t available, despite availability showing in the app. They said I could move to my preferred room the next day and they would call me when it was ready. I never received the call. There was only one person in front of me at check in. There were two staff who were both helping the one person in front of me for 20 minutes before they finally turned their attention so me. Slow and inattentive! On checkout I asked them to confirm my welcome gift of $10 F&B credit was applied for each day and she said yes and confirmed the invoice would be sent to me by email. When my flight landed that evening; still no sign of the invoice. I had to call them long distance to ask about the invoice AND again for the missing F&B credit, which they took more than a week to resolve. I stated this was a violation of the Marriott elite benefit guarantee and I was entitled to $50 and they just ignored me. I’ll be escalating with Marriott for a resolution.

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. Despite its convenient location and friendly staff, the condition of the rooms raised significant concerns. Upon entering the room, a strong and unpleasant smell of humidity and mold permeated the air. The presence of mold on the ceiling was immediately noticeable, and the floors were notably filthy. The towels had an unpleasant odor, and the bed felt mushy. Even the sheets emitted an off-putting smell, which was noticeable even to my child. One of the major disappointments was the discovery of mold in the closet, causing our clothes to absorb the unpleasant scent overnight. This added to the overall discomfort of the stay. The housekeeping schedule was also inconvenient, with room cleaning occurring around 2 PM, unlike the morning routine commonly found in other hotels. Despite these issues, does have its positive aspects. The staff, although not universally so, included some friendly members, and the pool area was a pleasant spot. However, these positives were overshadowed by the significant cleanliness and maintenance issues. In conclusion, while this hotel has its merits, the pervasive moldy smell, cleanliness problems, and inconvenient housekeeping schedule make it difficult to recommend for a comfortable stay. If health and comfort are a priority, it might be wise to explore other options in the area.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Not sure if all showers have a frosted glass wall in shower that shows person showering while you are watching TV. Just make sure to ask for a more private bathroom if going with children . I was with husband so didn't care. And, to get hot water, turn knobs to the right! Our stay was great. Hope yours will be too!

The room was big enough, with a big balcony. I loved the courtyard, it has a very nice vibe, with palms and great pools. The staff was nice and helpful. I loved the massage booked there. The soup of the day was a nice surprise, very tasty and healthy. The open buffet breakfast is limited in options but lunch was very good. The hotel is located very well, you can easily reach the beach by foot (a 10 minutes walk) or by shuttle, when the sun is to intense.

This property is not safe . Someone only needs your last name and anybody will be allowed access to your room. This happened to me, several items were stolen and the manager Marvin acknowledged that a mistake was made, however, they refused to do anything to alleviate the matter except to have authorities involved. Besides this incident the place is okay (2 star review), not that nice - I would not stay here again.

We were there for 19 days. The room was kept very clean. Anything that we needed they took great care of us. There were two people who really stood for outstanding service. The server that gave us breakfast or lunch Freada, she was one of the sweetest happiest people that I met there, always had a smile on her face. Now Paul the concierge was just fabulous there wasn’t a day that didn’t go by that we didn’t complement him. We would exchange places that we’ve been to. He would make suggestions, loved this man, sincerely a good man. He would make reservations for us or call places for information. he truly was an asset to us. This place is a great location close to everything.

Very affordable, well appointed. I prefer The Mill Resort Condos located on the same property. Luxurious Condos, accommodations of up to 10 persons in the Elegant Penthouses. Even cheaper than hotels.

Such a pretty hotel! Clean and new. The bedrooms are very spacious. I loved that they had a fridge and microwave! Housekeeping came everyday. Staff is very friendly and polite! We made great use of the breakfast buffet for only $20. Its also a short walk to the strip. My only con: The air conditioner was so strong, it gave me a cold. You can only adjust the temp, not the speed of the fan. Otherwise, still a very very nice hotel! Will stay there again.

Wonderful experience at the newly opened establishment. Incredible customer service, kind and welcome. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Lisveth, Nicole, Ishmaela and Raul made our stay memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this property for your next stay in Aruba.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here in Mid-October. Upon arrival we were given welcome drinks and the check in process was smooth. Paola was very nice and helpful. We stayed in room 2103 which was a nice and quiet second level room. The room was a nice size for 2 people. It had a huge shower, two sinks, a comfortable king bed (pillows are just ok), small patio with a table facing the parking lot, fridge, microwave and safe. Our room was cleaned daily which was nice but not expected. The a/c was nice and cold. Breakfast was included in our stay. They had bacon, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, French toast, cereals, yogurt, breads, meats and fruit. You can also get a made to order omelette. I had a drink at the bar one night and Miguel was great. He made the drink nice and pretty for me and it was good. They have a good happy hour where drinks are $7-$8 vs the standard $15/drink which I think is kind of pricey. The papers indicate complimentary snacks are offered in the bar menu but none were offered during my stay M-Wed. I did yoga class Tues/Thurs at the gym. I was the only person in the class but appreciated the instructor for still teaching. She was very nice and gave me the full hour class each time. The gym is nice. A couple treadmills, bikes, free weights, a multipurpose room, lockers etc. There is only 1 ice machine even though the signage by our room suggested there was another one on our side but it’s instead closer to the lobby. I used the water machine in the gym daily to fill up my water bottles. Never used the pool but it’s a very nice area with tons of chairs and I loved the swim up bar concept. Location is great. Not on the beach but super close. Also close to the strip of hotel, restaurants, bars and shops. The shuttle will take you across the street to the beach. They have chairs and towels available for hotel guests. It’s next to a large construction site so it’s kind of loud with banging and drills but we just went a little further down on the beach to avoid the noise. All staff members were nice. When walking around the resort any time I saw staff they acknowledge me saying hello, good morning etc. Parking is free. WiFi is free and fast.

I read some of the reviews and it made me second guess my choice. Well I am glad I went with my gut and not what I read. First the staff was amazing. They are right on it when they see you. You don't have to wait for anything. The welcome drinks blew my mind. I thought I read that you would get one but was given to us within first 2-3 minutes we walked in to check in. The room was great, not that musty smell someone else posted. I would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I really enjoyed this relaxed hotel in Aruba. The property is not on the beach, but it is about a five to ten minute walk to Signature Park, which has a beautiful postcard-worthy beach. The hotel even has a shuttle (a little golf cart) that will speed you over to the beach, and the hotel has staff on the beach to provide towels, chairs, and bottled water. Access to the beach with service makes this hotel a total steal for the price. More good stuff: staff very friendly (I saw guests and hotel staff recognize each other from previous trips and exchange very warm greetings and hugs), very clean and pretty pool, nice clean rooms, rooms get cleaned daily, nice bar and poolside bar, quiet location off the strip and close to the bird sanctuary. We used the safe in the room but felt entirely safe at the hotel and in the surrounding area. We did not rent a car, but parking at the hotel is free, and renting a car seems like a great way to get out and explore. Quibbles: *Food at the restaurant was not great. They could invest some money in improving the coffee at breakfast (it could at least be hot). After a day or two we started having breakfast elsewhere. Cocktails could be a little inconsistent. *I was really unhappy the first night trying to get dinner while a DJ blasted us with club music. What's wrong with quiet? (This is a general complaint about restaurants everywhere, perhaps). The DJ was only there on the weekend. Other nights were quieter. Overall, for the price especially, this hotel kinda rules. It's not perfect, but when you save hundreds of dollars a night, it's hard to complain. We will likely return next year.

The room was horrible. Upon walking in our room it smelled like mildew. After taking off my shoes the tile floor felt slightly wet and slippery. There was a lizard / gecko inside the shower that I had to trap and dispose of. The blanket had visible black stains and spots near the head of the bed so we only had the top sheet to use. The pillows and bed smelled as if they were not properly dried and felt slightly damp. I could not sleep at all and I had to ask my wife to spray the whole bed down to even feel comfortable laying in it. I would have rather slept at the airport.

This place is in need of some really good technical servicing! The hotel chain saving at the wrong end. First day, the elevator got stuck, it has no a/c and within 30 seconds sweat is running down your body. Staff opened the door after 5 minutes, after which the elevator was inoperable! In our room, the a/c is loud and doesn’t cool properly. We went to breakfast in the morning at 9:30. No fruit salad left, the toaster broke, the entire breakfast selection was meager. We had a technician come to „fix“ our a/c while we went out. I am not a technician, but the room is still warm and the a/c is still noisy. There is an available room across from ours…they could have just moved us and made our stay so much better! The beach area „reserved“ for the guests, oh my word! The spot infront of a huge building site, where workers whistle at young women, the people crammed under some trees, because courtyard doesn’t have umbrellas and cabanas like the rest of the hotels. Still have 4 nights left…… tbc!!!

I would have given it 5 stars until I saw that this is what the staff is giving customers to drinks. I saw two flies sitting on a customers burger and a cocktail and they still served it like that. I gave it 2 stars because the staff is nice and I am sure with all the resources a billion dollar company like Marriott, you can have safety measures in place to keep flies out of customers meals. Also the power went out while we were in the rooms. So we had to sit outside in the balcony till the power came back on.

Had a terrible experience. Check-in was unorganised. The service advisor was apparently new and didn't acknowledge my platinum elite status and I had to reminder her of my welcome gift. No maps of the property were available, so she call for a manage who escorted us to the room. Couldn't connect to wifi, went to the front desk and one of the managers on duty practically accused me of lying. Saying "we are not having any issues and I can walk around this entire place and connect". He left it at that. Late I went BACK to front desk to I form them that my room phone was not working. This time, the manage who escorted me to the room, came to the room and reset the phone and apologized for the I convince. Problem solved. This was the WORST Marriott of my 19 county experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND,😡🤐

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. The property is clean and staff has very friendly. The spa is amazing !!! I rated 4 stars because the elevator is very small they do have stairs and the rooms on the 2nd floor are very close together.

Highly recommended. Beautiful pool area with great swim-up bar (tended by Javier, who is fantastic!). Wonderful staff throughout. Good location within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars, casinos, etc. We visited several other properties to dine, board boats, etc., and the Courtyard was WAY less packed with humanity than the others. Very nice stay.

REALLY modern and nice rooms, the shower was walk in with waterfall shower, ugh so nice!! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, gorgeous pool with swim up bar, and they give rides to the beach across the street.. it's at the end of "the famous strip" so great access to everything. Not the best view from the porch thing, but otherwise, this is my favorite place.

Nice hotel close to beach, has more of a motel vibe… nice breakfast choices… the lizards that live there are fun.. haven’t got any complaints ! Rooms was comfortable however I felt maybe a little dark and cave like, if I was paying I probably wouldn’t pay such prices for those rooms whilst staying in Aruba surely a view of something interesting would be worth the trip half way across the planet ..🪐 However nice to be hosted there for the Aruba Artweek !

Affordability, location-across street from Bubali bird sanctuary, near the windmill. The amenities:pools, swim up bar, free buffet breakfast/omelets, appetizer, 10 minute massage, daily water aerobics /yoga classes, shuttle to the beach, beach loungers, private palapa or divi divi tree shaded area and the Marriott name (we’ve always had good stays at Marriott resorts/hotels) led us to this choice. Honestly we expected 2-3 star service and rooms. We received so much more!!! We never expected above and beyond exceptional service with so many smiles, hugs, genuine concern, and care. Friendliest staff we have ever seen and we’ve traveled alot. The staff here made us feel pampered. Vanessa at the bar has an exceptional memory for what you enjoy drinking-she even recalled customer drinks from Over a year ago!! Of all the bartenders her drinks were the most delicious!! I think her lovely bubbly personality added in something extra. She should be promoted to bar manager and train other staff-her professionalism is admirable. Miguel also at the bar was adorable!! His flair was truly entertaining! He truly wants to entertain customers. Every morning Yolanda would greet us with a huge smile, laughter and hugs (which we initiated). She knew I required two cups of coffee, soy milk and my husband loved their ham and cheese omelets! Elvie was also wonderful and an exceptional server who remembered I am lactose intolerant. Maria Clara was so sweet!! She had wonderful recommendations for meals and drinks at Allegra (the resort restaurant) bistro. She even ensured the bar made me a fruity sangria! (It wasn’t on their menu). Her smiles brightened our day. With Yolanda as a morning/daytime restaurant manager or staff trainer and Maria Clara as an evening manager/staff trainer-Allegra Bistro business would boom!! The chefs there-especially Robert highly skilled, their culinary delights are wonderful! The beach is a five to ten (if you stop to great the iguanas along the way) minute stroll…..however, Sandy can shuttle you there in a jiffy! And if you try to walk she’ll convince you to hop on and entertain you along the way with Aruba history facts, sights, and things to do/see. She’ll also make sure you are taken care of by the ocean front resort staff who set up your loungers, give you beach towels and find you a prime spot! Jose (Alcock) often arranged taxi service for us, asked us how our day was and what we did, listened intently and greeted us. He became a good friend during our stay. We appreciate all he did to make us comfortable. I frequently went to the bird sanctuary and butterfly farm-walked and each time I came back he and Franco made sure I had a cold glass of refreshing flavored iced water (free 24-7 in the front of the resort entrance) and got me a cold cloth if I was overheated. Franco was our 3-4 times a day high five greeter! He was beyond helpful with our Wi-fi issues, calling us a taxi, telling us of a pharmacy/walk in location. If he is not a manager he certainly should be!! This man is a truly gifted customer service Jack of all trades professional. The Marriott should immediately promote him (he should be training other staff). We wanted to venture outside the resort for a different meal (at least once during our twelve night stay)-we trusted and valued the suggestions of the staff (our friends at the courtyard Marriott Resort) so we asked them. Sandy, Vanessa, Franco, Jose all recommended two restaurants. We chose one and were not disappointed!! We truly hope that the Courtyard Marriott resort owners and managers appreciate and reward the gems they have for staff!! By far they are the hardest working, friendliest, most caring, loving, sweetest people….this company should do all they can to retain this staff…..they made staying here worthwhile. Unfortunately our housekeeper could not speak English and we were unable to get her name (rn 2313). Cart had Hilda on a spray bottle-older woman. She was wonderful and really fast, efficient, meticulous in cleaning our room!!

We are lifetime Platinum Members and have to disagree with many of the reviews. The property does not live up to typical Marriott properties. The first room offered to us was worn and pieces of furniture showed mold on them. The second room was better but the air conditioning was so loud we had to turn it off at night. The floors had hair on them from previous guests. Fortunately it was only for one night before we moved to another Marriott property. The employees, I must say were very nice.

Definitely worth the money!!! I visited Aruba as a last minute trip and booked a quick cheap vacation with low expectations. This hotel surprised me! Rooms were clean, cozy, and the staff was friendly! The pool area and swim up bar have a daily happy hour with tasty mixed & frozen drinks! The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hotel is located in palm beach near all of the nightlife. Unfortunately, the hotel is not beachfront, but they offer a 3 minute golf cart ride.

Beautiful hotel, everyone is really nice and helpful. Every single day someone took the time to help us. They helped us find our way to the restaurants, book a car, book tours, and the shuttle even drove us back from the beach to the hotel after their operating hours. The staff greeted us every morning. The cleaners were incredible ! The only con is that the food was ok ,other then that we loved every minute of our stay.

Simple resort with a big beautiful pool. Loved that the temperature of the water was just right. Not too cold, not too warm. Friendly staff gave awesome service! They are very attentive and always do their best to accomodate your needs. The room we got was a spacious studio. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy. The bed was nice and soft. The wifi was a bit slow but not a big issue for me. We enjoyed our stay here. It was relaxing and quiet. Thank you Marriott Courtyard!

Overall this property and rooms are nice That said, be prepared to waste hours at the front desk, bar and restaurant. This property does not appear to be a 100% owned Marriott property but a "franchise" hence the attitude of everyone that works there excluding the beach staff. This may be a Marriott mistake in regard to the public relation aspect. That said, the staff is no where close to Marriott standards and they just don't care about providing quality service and they're attitude is abysmal. They never acknowledge you or say hi. The front desk is inconsistent in their responses, they use a log book to make notes (which they never refer back), and three front desk people quit in the 4 days I was there. That meant no one knew what these three people said, did or promised or what they did in the system. The wait staff was the same. They ignore you and can't or won't tell you anything like how much the buffet costs and tells you to go to the bar to ask for the bar breakfast menu. I waited for 40 minutes for my breakfast after ordering and it came out cold. The waiter placed my order again and it came out wrong. I could literally go on making a book out of this review but I've provided enough information for you to make an informed decision about staying at this Marriott courtyard.

This courtyard Marriott used to be called "the Mill resort" and has been operating for a year. As with all Marriott branded properties, they have done an excellent job in remodeling and renovating the property. The rooms are spacious. I stayed in a king room with sofabed.

Very very poor food and beverage options! Room amenities very basic also! Really not up to Par with usual Marriott standards😒

The staff at the Courtyard by Marriott is fantastic. Everyone we encountered from check-in to service is outstanding and very friendly. We actually switched from the Renaissance Marina hotel which was underwhelming in terms of service and vibe. The location of the Courtyard is right by the high rise hotels, so there is plenty to do within walking distance. The beach is across the street, but that's okay, you can either walk or take a two minute golf cart "limo" ride by the staff to the beach and back. The pool area is very nice and spacious. The rooms are all recently renovated with bright and modern decor. I'd recommend this as a very good Courtyard by Marriott.

After 4 years we decided to visit Aruba again for Don's 60th birthday, so we chose The Mill again, which is a very quiet, spot, kinda away from all the other hotels and tourist area, but less than 5 mins away. This year, to our surprise, they're added upgrades to their room as a merger with Courtyard by Marriott. We enjoyed a lovely king size bed unit with a tub, shower, and pool view. To make this trip (amid covid-19 pandemic) even more special, the staff surprised Don with a birthday song and very large cupcake in celebration of his birthday 🎂! Now that excel even more, the great service we've always had from this team at The Mill. If you're like me, wanting simple quiet, but close to tourist spots, then I recommend The Mill Resorts, whenever you're in Aruba! It is One Big Happy Family 😊❤️!

This was my 3rd stay in Aruba and each time I’ve stayed at this location. I was here when it was still named the Mill Resort. I loved the food at the hotel restaurant. The BBQ combo was filling and delicious generous portion sizes—I couldn’t finish it all. The rooms were clean and spacious. Nice new modern bathtub Soak tub in the room. Room was ready upon arrival. Nice pools. Housekeeping did well and your stuff is safe. The people of Aruba are wonderful. This place is worth the value because it’s reasonably priced within walking minutes to the Palm or Eagle Beach. Close proximity to the butterfly farm. Should bring back the beach shuttle.

This must be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my life. To begin with, they're understaffed in the front desk, frequently causing you to wait for 10-15 minutes even for simple requests. Not only that, they let disrespectful people to cut the line, causing stress and generally more waiting time. Sometimes they'll give you vouchers for the continental breakfast, but there's no procedure to handle them: they won't serve you and also you're not supposed to serve yourself. Moreover, they lost most of the clothes I gave them for the laundry: they blamed on the company that actually handles it and they couldn't reached out to them when I complained about it - if that's not outrageous enough, when I complained about this fact, they replied saying that the laundry is done by a third party contractor and I should reach out to them - I believe they forgot I handed my clothes to Marriott Staff and have never got in touch with anyone from this third party laundry. Not to mention other smaller annoyances that you don't have in any hotel that's up to Marriott standard. In summary, my recommendation is for anybody to stay somewhere else, maybe in RIU, just across the street and beach side. It might be a little more expensive but totally worth it, or you risk completely ruining your vacation experience

The other reviews couldn't be more accurate. Spent 2 hours sitting in the lobby waiting for our room, after being told it would be ready in just a minute. The club next door will have music blasting until 6AM and the pool does not have nearly enough chairs to accommodate guests. The "beach shuttle", golf cart, runs when they feel like, and drops you off at the public beach in front of the police station. Spend a few extra dollars and avoid this hotel. (Review written at 3:51 AM thanks to blasting club music.)

Just came home from two weeks in sunny Aruba. We are timeshare owners, but as our room was not ready, stayed in the hotel room...very nice, but location of safe, very bad. The food and beverage manager needs to have breakfast outside one day, as if one is not buying the buffet, they cannot sit inside at normal sized tables, but at small cocktail tables outside. I understand the problem of people helping themselves to the buffet when not paying for it, but there has to be a better way.

Wow what a place. Felt emotional leaving! Beautiful pool, beautiful rooms, amazing bathroom, great location, great staff, fantastic facilities. Berny, who works at the pool bar making cocktails was the highlight of our trip. Such amazing service and a credit to the hotel. We’ll be back.

Absolutely stunning!! Everyone is so nice and the resort felt like a home away from home. The hotel room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Everyone is so sweet there, I highly recommend! To the blonde girl who works the front desk, thank you for being so nice!

Horrible customer service at the front desk! We made a reservation over 9 months ago and asked for a quiet king size room and that we have a toddler who goes to bed early. At the front desk I nicely asked about this again and mentioned that we asked about this at booking almost a year in advance. The front desk said "No, we don't have anything as we are fully booked". We proceeded with getting the keys for 2 queen beds. The very next family of three had a teenager daughter and asked whether two beds were available because somehow they reservation was for one bed. They got a stern "NO". Wow, this would have been an easy switch that doesn't cost hotel anything! This is our second night of ten booked and our hotel room directly faces the nightclub that I have read from previous reviews has a blasting music until morning. I asked about the quiet room specifically. I will have Platinum status in three days however none of this matters because the "goddesses" of the front desk said so. Getting to the beach turned out to be difficult because the free shuttle got broken so we decided to walk because it is close. Well, it might be close however you have to cross a pretty big street with no crosswalk and walk along the road for a while. No promised towels at the beach either. Book elsewhere.
