Great experience to swim with the dolphins (Curacao Dolphin Academy). We had 30 min in the water (6 people with 2 dolphins) and we will never forget this wonderful time. Great trainers, great animals. The Sea Aquarium is also nice, you can snorkel with fishes and feed sharks behind a wall. There is also a turtle but we haven't seen it. Great Place to visit during a trip on Curacao!

Curaçao Sea Aquarium was a great experience, a 15 minute taxi ride away from Cruise ship terminal, entry fee as of writing was around $15 pp, well worth it. Entrance was fast, you get armbands and you're good to go, we first stumbled upon the water tanks inside with small/medium fishes, there were a great variety of them with information on each tank, there were also flamingos which were beautiful, some people tried touching them and they went for a bite so watch out 🤣 they were mostly just vibing, sleeping and relaxing. There's a section were you can interact with starfish and even manta rays, after that we went to the dolphin show and it was spectacular, it lasted about 25 minutes NOTE: there is no shade, bring a hat and maybe sunglasses, I knew before hand and went ready, the show was spectacular, the connection the dolphins and trainers have is great, the dolphins did tricks and jumped on command, they are beautiful creatures. After that we went to the submarine, it was small but fun to go in, it has an air conditioner which is great to cool off lol, that specific day they were cleaning the windows so I took some great pictures, after that I kid you not we fed sharks, they let you feed 1 fish to a shark for free, if you want to feed them more and interact more with them is an extra cost, it was fun to feed them, however watch out for pelicans because they snatched a couple of fishes. Overall, highly recommend the aquarium, it was cheap, fun and close to the cruise terminal.

Great aquarium to visit. The only issue I had was that some of the tanks probably needed to be cleaned! Besides that I enjoyed my visit. They had so many animals!

Me and my husband came in on a cruise ship. We were so excited to learn there was an aquarium there so we booked the animal encounter experience. It was absolutely fabulous. We had the best time ever. So many went to the dolphin encounter it was crowded. But it was just the 2 of us at the animal encounter so we loved that. We got to have a very friendly large female stingray swim right over our legs. And touch some very large tarpon. But the absolute best was feeding the sharks. It was an experience we will never forget. Our guide through the whole experience was Zerich and he was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful and a wealth of knowledge. He loves his job and it really shows. He went above and bet for us as well as another guest who had a little boy who wasn’t old enough to do the experience due to park rules but he found a way to include him in the above water feeding and got him a sharks tooth since the kid was very much into sharks. You don’t find very many people like that nowadays.

Fun to visit. Even more enjoyable for kids. Main building has around 20 aquarium tanks, each containing around 3 species of different fish. Each 30 minutes they have a different activity you can attend. Like feeding flamingos, petting stingrays, feeding the sharks, free underwater view, etc. At the outside there are dolphin enclosures. At the Dolfinarium at the same location you can book activities to swim with dolphins. There are also other fish & sharks enclosures outside which you can visit. Near the sharks you can go for a free underwater view at the docked boat.

Had a wonderful time. Definitely do the sea lens with that private behind the scenes tour. You’ll get to see all the educational programs they’re a part of and meet the animals behind the scenes. They have everything from dolphins to sea turtles, flamingos, urchins, conch, sharks, and more. The Italian sandwich was really tasty too. Definitely get one. And was the cheapest meal we had on the trip.

Great for the family!! It seems small upon entering but there’s a lot to do. Feeding the flamingos 🦩 and take an awesome pictures with them, the dolphin show, encounters with the dolphins, swimming with dolphins, the dolphin kiss, you can snorkel, there’s also a tunnel you can climb down to see the animals under water. The aquarium tank displays aren’t a wow factor but the activities make it 💯!! Will say everything it clean even the bathrooms. The staff is super nice!! A++ on customer service!! They have two gift shops but personally I thought the prices were a little over priced 🤷🏻‍♀️. They also have a small food court i had an iced vanilla latte… it was amazing! Really hit the spot!! They have water, juice, coffee, soft drinks, pastries, chips candy sandwiches etc. Overall a great visit we really enjoyed ourselves.

The dolphins were definitely the highlight of the aquarium for me, although the sharks, flamingos, turtles, stingrays, and other fish were pretty fun too. We didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg, so we didn’t actually get in and swim with the dolphins, but I thought it was super fun just to watch them in the little show they have and watch them swim with other people. It also wasn’t super busy/crowded so that was nice too. Just a chill, fun lil aquarium.

We visited on a recent trip. We liked seeing the dolphins getting fed. The entry fee is high. Lots of kids and families. Maybe paying for a special activity would have been better. Parking is $3. Bring change.

It was a decent experience, but not for what it was worth. The Dolphin show was basic, it was $165 just to get in the water and pet the dolphins. $200 and something to actually get all the way in the water with and swim, pet, and feed the dolphins. $10 for a kiss from the dolphin. However, It was free for my 2yr old to get in, but my Husband and I were $50 each just to walk around. The Food prices were super high (expected) and choices were limited. The fish/animal variety and the touch exhibit were very simple and limited. And some of the fish were near death. In all honesty Sea World and or the Ga Aquarium is a much better experience. Especially to go half way around the world to visit on vacation. I will not be attending again if and when I return to Aruba.

My husband and I were at the Sea Aquarium on November 13th. We chose the Animal Encounter experience, and were really well-satisfied with it. We arrived a little before 9 a.m. and had two hours alone with a guide, who took us through the experience with the lemon and nurse sharks and the sting rays. We learned a lot about the sharks and rays, and also got a lot of information about the Aquarium itself, and the conservation and environmental work they're doing, as well as the research they're involved with. We love how they've been recovering a healthy sea life environment alongside the aquarium, and the work the owner has done reclaiming the land for the beautiful beaches and mangroves. We had such a great time. We enjoyed walking around the aquarium, and getting a look and reading about some of the local fish and animals, as well. And we stayed long enough for the dolphins and their training demonstration, which was delightful (I really loved seeing how much performance was going on when the dolphins were alone in the lagoons, just PLAYING without any trainers around - they were just having the best time). I even got a dolphin kiss, which was very special. We were so delighted with the living environment of the large fish, with the natural lagoons and the time they get in open waters. It seems very, very healthy for them. It was a terrific day, and we'd happily recommend it to anyone. Feeding the sharks was really very cool (and safe!), and...well, having a stingray lying in your lap and letting you pet her? That was incredible.

We had here our private swim tour with the dolphins. This was quite extraordinary! It is so awesome to share the same basin as the dolphin, but then to swim with them, learn from them, interact with them, I was just out of words. One of the best experiences in my life. The coach we had was super friendly and helpfull and made this a special experience. What is also important is that really care about the dolphins. Have multiple breeding programs and that they are not treated as animals that only do tricks. They really handle them with care!

A small aquarium that doesn't take long to visit. Has static displays, videos, viewing of the fish "up close and personal" and a dolphin show. Well worth a 1/2 day of of your time. Check times to make sure you get all the shows.

Great activity for families and kids! There are plenty of short events along the day (dolphins or shark feedings, etc) which makes the place dynamic. We learn a lot of the different species and the marines life. Getting there by taxi is easy (20$ from downtown). There is a small restaurant for food. The place was not crowded at all, although we went while there was no cruise ship in town.

Great show of dolphins, very nice touring guides. The animals are stressfree and well taken care of. Several possibilities to interact with animsls (feeding, petting and swimming encounters)

What a fantastic experience! What is great in their story, besides all the fun with dolphins and all the beautiful things to be seen, is the dedication to preservation of endangered species, such as the queen conch. Bravo for you!

Great place for young and old. Must visit when on the island. Enough time? Shedule a swim with the dolphins. Feed the Sharks. I really recommend it.

You can literally spend the whole and enjoy each activity there. Recommend to check some programs and participate in one or two to get the most out of it. We did join the Animal Encounter program with Jonathan (our guide). He is very professional, extremely friendly, and showed us how to feed lemon sharks and other creatures as well - we even swam and petted stingrays! It is a very fun and informative experience, plus we also got some nice pictures after this trip too. Super amazing, highly recommend!

Amazing low key aquarium. Super friendly staff and well worth the trip. Thought we would be through in 30 minutes. 4 hours later and we were still having a great time. Definitely a must see location.

We did the shark feeding and had a blast. We lucked out and it was just us two, but the staff were still so helpful and instructive. They taught us a ton about sharks, and it was really surreal to feel the suction power through the feeding hole. It was the highlight of our trip to Curacao, and I would highly recommend going. Not to mention, they have a free dolphin show. The whole place seems incredibly humane as well with all water being ocean water.

We visited while on a cruise. It was a short taxi ride from the port. The aquarium was a nice and relaxing day, just like we wanted. I would highly recommend visiting!

We had such a nice experience of the Seaquarium in Curaçao, At first I got impression that the dolphins were all free but most of them actually grow up in the Seaquarium. They be taking good care of and have off days as well. Well we had a dolphin encounter they made pictures as well and after we could choose which pictures we want to digitally or print it out. Which is to have to print pictures the digitally. After that we paid and got a QR code and if we scanned it We would see the pictures but unfortunately it wasn’t the correct link so we had to come back to the Seaquarium after our visit the gentleman kindly gave us our pictures digitally it was a very nice experience you could also visit other animals and seacreatures.

My husband and I booked the animal encounter the day after our wedding in Curacao! It was SO fun and there was nobody else who booked our time slot so it ended up being private which was amazing. Zerek and Rey were amazing instructors and made sure we felt safe and comfortable while in the tank with the smaller fish, the stingray, and while feeding the sharks. We opted for the additional photo package which were captured by Rey and so nice to have! I loved the whole thing - especially having the little fish "nip" at you while holding the feeding fish (don't worry it doesn't hurt!). Scratchy (the stingray) was so fun to play with and even stole a fish right out of my hand while I was trying to feed a shark haha! There are safety bars above the shark feeding glass which help you push yourself to the feeding holes and ensure your hands are not anywhere near the sharks during mealtime. The best part was that we were able to get a shark tooth during one of the feedings and Zerek and Rey let us take it home :) The price of the experience was well worth it and it included entry to the aquarium which was nice but on the smaller side. We got to see the last dolphin show of the evening which was amazing to watch the dolphins and the trainers to their tricks! Overall highly recommend and such a great way to spend an afternoon in Curacao.

I visited with my family to the Sea Aquarium. It was a wonderful experience, our tour guide Evette was quite knowledgeable and helpful. She took her time and showed us around the Dolphin Academy, Sea Aquarium. It's a wonderful experience and connects you with Sea life 💙.

Very interesting zoo. You can go swimming with the fish or go in the bottom level of the ship if you want to stay dry and look at the fish. You can feed the flamingos and take pictures There is a dolphin show witch was very impressive and there are shark feedings.

Loved the flamingo experience - feeding and learning more about them. Area is really nice and kids friendly. Me, as an adult, I could have spent hours there just sitting and watching animals.

Amazing dolphin experience but the 'aquarium' leaves a little to be desired. It's a big circle with small tanks around the perimeter. Thanks to the sweet employee that fed the baby sharks early due to our ship leaving before the big shark feed!

We did the Animal Encounters at Curaçao Sea Aquarium, this is absolutely the best snorkelling experience we ever had!!! The Aquarium is small, but the activities are great! The dolphin training demonstration was fun, the action feeding/underwater observatory was very cool, and the animal encounters is a must do activity!!! We swam with so many fishes, and the best part was feeding the sharks and the small fishes around us! They have a photographer following you, and Kevin did a wonderful job!!!

Went there to spend the day with the kids and it was quite a nice day! The staff was so friendly and patient (especially with the kids) and were very well informed about the information they were giving. I was flabbergasted when I hear the guide speak fluent Papiamentu (our native language), fluent Dutch, English, Spanish and Portuguese. It was just mesmerizing! Props to the staff!

I've visited a couple of other aquariums (Canada, Mexico, Rio de Janeiro) and this Aquarium is VERY overrated. I expected a real city aquarium, not just a couple of fish displays. That grouper (a ginormous fish, if you don't know it) is definitely lonely on that tiny block of water. Activities (the dolphin and ocean ones) are expensive (but are indeed great), so I guess some of that money should be spent on upgrading the place to a modern aquarium area. Also, there are two different stores inside and they don't communicate at all - I needed a post stamp and the Dolphin Academy store sent me to downtown to buy one, while it was available at the Aquarium store (the bigger one) lol
