I've been following Rachel, the studio owner, for a long time on social media and was so excited to finally visit this beautiful studio last September! Being from Los Angeles, there are thousands of yoga studios around me but nothing compares to Island Yoga. Every little detail has been carefully thought out to create the most welcoming and relaxed experience. During my stay in Aruba, I took two classes at Island Yoga and loved them both. Each teacher had a different style that was unique to them. I loved that they had tarot cards laid out at the end of class to pick from. I was fortunate enough to visit the cafe after class (although I think it may be closed now) and enjoy a delicious smoothie. Once it is safe to do so, I highly recommend vising Aruba and particularly, Island Yoga! Thank you, Rachel :)

Island Yoga was the main reason my fiance and I came to Aruba in 2019! We had an amazing experience at the studio and we were lucky we caught the cafe open. My fiance was able to hang out in the vegan cafe while I went to a class (neither of us are vegan but the food and coffees were amazing and my fiance still raves about it!) Class was small in the middle of the week and the I definitely ended in savasana crying because it was such an incredible experience to practice in the magical space. The instructor and the ladies at the front desk were so inviting and it was an incredible experience that we both still look back on fondly. We set intentions of returning to the studio (and The Ritz!) before we even left!

I love Island Yoga! They have the cutest little boutique and their cafe is un. real. Their juice and Avacado toast was amazing. Actually, it was so good, we ordered a second serving! I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Aruba! Oh, and they use paper straws!!! :)

I did my SUP Yoga teacher training at Island Yoga. It was the most educational, well thought out and organized teacher training I’ve ever done. It was five days of hands on experience on the SUP in addition to yoga classes taught in studio by different instructors for each class. So I got to learn about many styles of yoga while there. Island Yoga had just opened and Rachel successfully managed the studio while also managing our teacher training. This training prepared students for teaching in the yoga industry as I got a SUP Yoga teaching job immediately after taking this training. This training was truly one of the most memorable experiences in my yoga career. I highly recommend Island Yoga for teacher training, taking classes and the global yoga community that Rachel beautifully created.

Jess has a seemingly natural ability to keep you coming to class everyday and the more I came the better I felt and the better I felt the more I came!

I visited Island Yoga for a retreat in 2018. I went solo but met the most amazing group of people. The entire experience was truly life changing. The yoga classes were my favorite classes I've ever taken, the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The owner Rachel has been a huge inspiration in my life. I would absolutely love to go back someday!

Great space with great people. One of the most conscientious owners I have known with a huge heart. My wife loves the space and the practice here. Definitely one of the highlights of Aruba and a must-go destination for yoga practitioners. Great food and drink too.

Rachel is inspiring in both her commitment to yoga, but also to sharing her love of the island, promoting it to those of us based far away. My experience with her has always been excellent and I recommend her as a teacher and guide. Keep up the amazing work!

I have been following Rachel through social media for a while. I love her spirit ! This place was just perfect. I did 1hr class with Luz. Great yoga teacher & adaptable to all levels !!!! The atmosphere of the yoga studio is wonderful. The Nourish cafe was a delight and the most delicious coconut chia pudding I have ever had. Will be back.

The instructor for the Sunday all levels flow was engaging and attentive and offered plenty of adjustment suggestions so each person could make the practice their own. Mats were very close together since it was a full class, but everyone was mindful of their neighbors. Plenty of quality props for everyone. I appreciated that there were showers and changing rooms. A few days later I did SUP yoga—so challenging but so worth it! Brittany guided us with plenty of options to modify poses to suit our balancing abilities. I had never been on a paddle board (yoga or otherwise), but with a few instructions I got the hang of things and was smiling the whole time. With the sun, wind, and sea, it was truly unforgettable practice. As someone who is plus-sized, I felt welcomed, encouraged, and empowered during both classes. Island Yoga honors the light within each person and embodies the loving kindness that has drawn me to yoga.

This studio is amazing and changed my life for the better. Aruba wasn’t even on my radar until I found Yoga Girl on Instagram and realized I had to visit! So glad to have made the trip pre-Covid. Taking classes at Island Yoga was the highlight of my two week vacation on the island. Thank you to Rachel and the amazing team! <3

My husband and I planned a getaway to Aruba- I asked my local yoga teacher if she could recommend a studio there that I could practice at during our week away. She said “ISLAND YOGA!!!!! I’m so jealous I’ve always wanted to practice with Yoga Girl!” I was thrilled to check it out. The studio is clean & welcoming. Great shop and cafe! I went every morning to start my day. All the teachers were amazing! Rachel’s class was wonderful, but I was so happy that all her teachers were just was awesome! I can’t wait to go back in the future.

Every time my husband and I come to Aruba we always stop in to island yoga for a class and to shop to show our support for the amazing foundation. The first class changed my yoga path. Forever grateful .

I finally made it this year to visit this place. It is beautiful, clean and nice and cool inside. Everyone was super friendly and my yin yoga class was calming and relaxing. I wish I could be here more often. Prices are ok and you can find special offers in the boutique.

One of the principles of yoga is being a vegetarian (minimal) and to practice non-violence. Yoga girl’s turning back on veganism contradicts her teachings at this facility.

Most gorgeous yoga studio I've ever been to- and I've been to dozens. It is well lit, well-decorated and very clean- spotless. They also space out the mats 2 meters away from each other in the studio along with being very clean, so I felt very safe going their during Covid times. Took a Core Yoga class on Saturday at 9:30 am- it was absolutely wonderful. The instructor had great energy and a wonderful flow. She made me sweat unlike ever before (in a yoga class), and I walked out of there feeling like magic. Would highly recommend- I only wish I had found out about it sooner before I left. Upon my return in Aruba, I will be back!

Visited Aruba in 2017 and put Island Yoga at the top of my list! Took several classes during my trip and loved every minute of it. The studio is very clean and has great energy. The cafe was open during our stay and was soooo delicious that we went out of our way to eat there daily. Everyone is very friendly, all of the staff and teachers were kind and knowledgeable. Rachel's class was my favorite. Can't wait to come back with the pandemic is over.
