My favourite island due to its friendly people, diving and kiting spots, safety. Beaches and bars everywhere. I like the south of the island the most since it feels and is still local. And it has one of the nicest and least crowded kite beaches in know. With reliable wind. Go, figure.

It was strange to see that this Caribbean island was a desert... But there's so much stuff to do! The waters are from baby blue to blue green and so clear, you can see your toes. On the other side of the island there are beautiful coral reefs and beautiful natural bridges on the water. Hidden beaches and spirits spots to meditate, swim and have a picnic. The locals speak three languages and extremely friendly and kind. Great food everywhere...! A bit pricy, but beauty costs money and that's their only income. Worth going and going back for more

In love! ❀️ RIF, are small islets that the locals visit, they are wonderful, they do not have electricity or water service but you can take your food & water, and spend an incredible day in contact with nature!

We had a GREAT time in Aruba. I did a walk about town visiting a Catholic church, a couple eateries, a few monuments, and such. Overall, felt safe throughout my walk.

Our vacation to Aruba was everything. It was naturally romantic, sexy, and intimate. We enjoyed the food, fun and drinks that hotel RIU provided. We enjoyed exploring Aruba, it is a beautiful island with friendly folks.

Aruba is a gem! What a wonderful island and an even more wonderful people. It is not over commercialized so there is still undeveloped areas on this small island. Having said that there are several large resorts and hotels on the north west part of the island. They are all nice and some are luxurious. There are restaurants galore and shopping is the same. There is frugal shopping and up scale shopping both. This island is also out of the hurricane path, so going any month of the year is great. There are all kinds of excursions and sight seeing events to do if interested. And there is also just enjoying the beach and doing nothing. This is an amazing island with an even more amazing people. It is a perfect vacation paradise where one can have fun going a lot of tourist stuff or have fun doing nothing.

You need to follow the locals to save your cash. Not a lot to do for the active crowd besides the beach staples. Don't miss the sunset tour. It is a good value for the hot apps, free drinks and their skill add removing a man over board, yup it happened. And before stepping out of the life ring he had a beer.

Parts were absolutely beautiful - especially along the coast. The highlight for us was a submarine excursion...amazing! However, Aruba's economy is all about tourism, and the shops treat you that way with constant pressure sales. Tons of jewelry stores if you're interested in that type of thing. Many...possibly most (?) high end stores are available for shopping. The vibe away from the big retail shops was much more chill and enjoyable. I can't wait to visit again.

My review may be biased because I live here but this island is indeed a very nice place to visit because of its friendly people, (almost) rainfree climate, beautiful beaches, availability of all of life's amenities (food, drink, potable water, reliable electricity, good telecomunications, etc), ample selection of good restaurants, watersport facilities, sightseeing possibilities, shopping for every budget. You'll like it here.

Aruba was the 2nd stop on our 11 day NCL cruise. What a wonderful place!! Beautiful port and the people were very nice. We took a tour that tooks around part of the city and out to the California Lighthouse. Then we went on a water tour that took us out to a boat in which we were below deck. There were large windows that were below the water level allowing views of the reef and fish. The your also went over a 80 yr old shipwreck which was teeming with aquatic life. This Island is very pretty and I would love to visit again for a longer period of time!
