This is a must see place if you are in Aruba. If you are staying in a Renaissance Resort - admission to the island is included. If not - you need to pay 125$. Boat departs every 15 minutes every day. The last one is around 18:00. Flamingos are beautiful. They are not afraid of people, they can be fed.

Nobody goes to this island to save money, but the experience and the value can’t be beat. The bungalow was *amazing* and something we would do again in a heartbeat, and will in fact repeat on any return visit. Zero regrets. So many go for the flamingos and the Instagram shot, but this place is so much more. It’s about relaxation, good vibes, beautiful scenery, enjoying the time with your loved one, and peace. Definitely take a visit.

Ok so I’ll start off by saying my review is heavily biased as I was mojito drunk the entire time on the three occasions I was on this island. Once we rented a cabana (highly recommend) and twice we “slummed it” lol. Since we had the all inclusive package from the hotel, it extended to the island and it was perfection. The drinks were always great (shoutout to Vivian who tolerated my drunk shenanigans), and all the food was great. The cabana rental came with bubbly, water, and snacks. The server/ concierge was amazing and took great care of us. We stayed in the cabana for 8 hours and it was definitely money well spent. Word of caution- DO NOT, and I repeat do not, do the walking trail. So many bloody mosquitos! It was wild and not in a good way. The view was great at the end of it but not worth the bites. The flamingos weren’t the only birds on the island. It really should have been called pelican island because woah! They were everywhere. I gauged how inebriated I was by my closeness to the birds since I am deathly afraid of them. As you can see, I was a woman possessed by pure liquid courage. Hope to be back again soon!

I think I was most excited about the close encounter with the flamingos…but they could honestly care less about us! And when I tried to feed them they weren’t hungry. However the island is absolutely gorgeous and it’s a great place to relax and get some instagramable pics and videos! The only downside was the airplanes constantly taking off the runway parallel to the island. The massages we booked to get on the island were absolutely amazing! Worth every penny!!! For my hubby and I for the day at the island including floats, towels, lounge chairs, 2 entrees of our choice from the menu, 2 mixed drinks, 2 50min Swedish massages in a hut that opens to the ocean with the waves as our background music it was $385. It was perfect! A great way to spend the day! I’d most definitely go back for those massages! The food and drinks were excellent! And the service was phenomenal. And be patient with your servers! Island time runs a little bit slower and more relaxed! But everyone was so kind!

Interesting and fun experience! It is nice to have a dedicated beach spot to be able to relax all day! Our server, Karla, was the BEST! I would go back just to see her. Worth the private cabana rental for a day, if you have the means!

One of the highlights in Aruba! This small private island of the Renaissance Hotel is a must do! It is so pretty and relaxing! Activities like paddleboarding, snorkeling are included. And the flamingos of course! It's free if you're a guest at the hotel!

I enjoyed visiting the private island. If you stay at Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino then you visit the island for free. You present your room key before boarding the boat then you ride off to the island. There is a bar there where you can order drinks and you can sun bathe on the beach or get in the water with the beautiful flamingos and feed the iguanas. It's very windy here so even if it's really hot, the trade winds help keep you cool. I enjoyed myself alot here.

Absolutely beautiful God blessed us with a last minute Christmas vacation couldn't have enjoyed it more. Sand sun and fun relaxing time well needed due to two years of COVID-19. Well maintained property staff was awesome. Going back in July cant wait.

The boat trip and island were really nice. The service on the island was poor. My friend and me were completely ignored when we tried to order breakfast at the restaurant and the bar. Finally we were able to order Cappuccino which was half a cup of luke warm milk for too much $ We did get nice pics with flamingos and service at the beach especially Karla was great! Delicious piña colada.

No words to express how amazing our visit was to Renaissance Island. The flamingos were unbelievable! As an animal lover it was a dream to be so near to these beautiful creatures. I am forever grateful to have the time to observe them at such close proximity. The experiencing of a life-time did not end there. I have to give a big shout out to the Renaissance Island team. A special thanks to Lizeth and Jennifer for taking such good care of us. They were the icing on the cake and make our anniversary getaway extra special! We can't wait to come back!!

When staying at the Renaissance, you get repeat access to the island at no additional charge. Wonderful experience! The flamingos appear to be well cared for!

The best experience with flamingos, the island is beautiful, great food and drinks! Good service but the only thing is there no music, the atmosphere is incomplete without a little music 🙏🏻🥰

Beautiful location, excellent service, delicious food! Our entrance to the island was included with the hotel, so we didn’t have to pay the $125 fee. That said, I would say it is worth if you’re looking to spend a day in your own private area. The area is really well taken care of. The beaches are clean, very well “manicured” and with breathtaking views! They have flamingos roaming around and you can take pictures with them. They also have a gym, tennis courts and two bars. The restaurant is really good, I would recommend coming for breakfast and staying all day :)

Loved our spa morning here. Soft relaxing massages, listening to the waves crash and birds sing. Folowed with a yummy fruit tray and 4 drinks of our choice, it was a lovely morning. We saw a lot of other couples getting massages after, but we had booked through the spa and got a day pass at $445 US as we were not staying at the Renaissance Hotel. It's worth every penny!
