Hidden below a cliff within sight of the gold mill ruins, the "other" natural pool is accessible by ladder and a slippery, sharp volcanic rock scramble. Be brave as you battle the spray and crabs - take only what you critically need (we carried snorkels and masks, wore only our bathing suits and flip flops) as you carefully navigate the rocks to the small cavern pool. Jump in, aiming for the sandy section but be prepared for a tough climb out. Def bring a mask and snorkel to comfortably swim around the small pool where you will have great visibility. Fins aren't needed, but good swim shoes would have been a much better option than flip flops due to the climb back out.

Beautiful to watch waves coming in with such amazing force! Hot. Make sure you have water and a hat. Can use UTVs to explore area or tour buses with AC;)
