We
reserved
the
cheapest
car
available
at
Amigo
car
rental
for
a
period
of
2
weeks.
On
the
website
the
insurance
was
stated
to
be
included
in
the
price.
At
the
office
we
were
told
we
had
to
pay
an
extra
insurance
per
day
since
the
insurance
they
promoted
was
third
party
liabilty
insurance,
which
the
lady
told
us
basically
did
not
include
anything
🤔
Additionally,
we
had
to
sign
the
extra
charges
for
sand
on
the
mats
(20$),
excessive
sand
on
the
mats
(35$),
sunscreen
on
the
chairs
and
several
other
extra
charges,
which
can
be
expected
on
a
sandy
vacation
island.
We
thus
cancelled
our
reservation
since
the
extra
insurance
would
have
exceeded
our
budget.
Cancellation
fee
was
one
day
rental.
We
used
the
car
for
that
one
day.
After
returning
the
car
at
the
airport
we
were
told
that
the
deposit
would
be
cancelled
within
3
days.
This
was
not
done
and
at
the
end
of
our
stay
we
had
to
reassure
the
deposit
would
be
cancelled.
The
airport
office
has
no
office
hours
and
when
we
arrived
at
11
AM
on
Saturday
noone
was
there
since
the
office
opens
according
to
the
car
reservations
of
that
day
🤨.
We
drove
to
the
main
office
where
they
first
asked
to
go
back
to
the
airport
to
fix
the
issue
-
should
the
main
office
not
be
able
to
take
care
of
this
since
it's
the
main
office?
Anyways,
after
I
refused
the
lady
at
the
main
office
called
the
lady
at
the
airport
to
cancel
the
reservations.
When
we
asked
for
a
written
confirmation
of
the
cancellation
we
were
told
they
cannot
do
this
at
the
main
office
and
that
we
had
to
go
to
the
office
at
the
airport.
Is
it
not
possible
to
send
an
email
to
confirm
the
cancellation?
Based
on
our
experience
with
Amigo
Car
rental
we
would
not
recommend
it.
