    The food and staff in here are fantastic. Proper Italian taste and the gluten free pasta is incredible!! The option for gluten free pasta and pizza bases is a really nice touch too and they don't skimp on the quality of it.

    Preise wie überall in Irland vier fünf Euro zu viel für solch ein Gericht. Ich bin auf jeden Fall satt geworden und hat geschmeckt. Leider hat das Knoblauchbrot für über 6€ kaum nach Knoblauch geschmeckt und es war sehr klein. Nudelgerichte 👌🏼

    Wir waren nur hier, um an der Bar etwas zu trinken, da wir im zugehörigen Hotel übernachtet haben. An der Rezeption sagte man uns, die Bar ist bis 24Uhr geöffnet. Wir sind zwischen 21:00 & 21:30 hin, der Service war sehr gut, jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Leider wurde gegen 22:30 die Bar nach & nach sauber gemacht, die Kasse gezählt & wir mehr oder weniger durch die Blume gebeten zu gehen, so dass der Abend bereits kurz nach 23:00 endete. Schade! Wir hätten hier gerne noch mehr getrunken.

    It was a great experience eating at the Basilico, I feel the atmosphere was a bit crowded and loud to have a proper seating dining experience. The food service and quality was great, 👍

    Been here recently. We ordered afogato ice cream ( regular ice cream with americano) soup and calzone.Cuisine is really nice, atmosphere is nice as well. Food was tasty, but it took 40min approximately to make the food done( it was lunch time on Saturday). Atmosphere was nice as well. Sad, that you can't choose a comfy seat for yourself, you have to be seated by waiter. Good place to spend some time with family.

    Food was unreal!!! Highly recommend! Place seemed clean and it's cozy with an elegant vibe but relaxed enough All members of staff we interacted with were polite and helpful Will be back

    Update : After long time we went there for a pizza, have to say that things drastically changed, sorry to say but you will not see us again.. Pizza Ducale was a big disappointment, in menu are some ingredients…..we didn’t see on the Pizza. Parmesan shavings?? Plus, This is not the only reason we would not recommend at all. Parmesan shavings?? This is sad as few years ago I left this feedback: The best pizza we ate in Ireland, if you are somewhere around Galway and want to eat pizza, you just go there and you will be more than happy.

    Compared to the other Italian restaurants, the quality of food was lower and we didn’t like it. I‘m not from Italy, but we all know that Carbonara should be made of spaghetti not sth like penne! I have this habit to finish my dish, so I ate it, but it was tasteless and kind of bitter. One of us also ordered a pasta with chicken which the chicken was smelly. Three of us ordered lasagna, burger and soup, which were better than pastas. But the staff and atmosphere of the restaurant were very nice. At the end, because we told them about smelly chicken, they didn’t count that dish in the bill.
