    Wife and I had best meal of our lives here. Her fish was perfect and my burger was hands down the best that I've ever had. Plan to go back next time we're in the area.

    Note: this is a review of a July, 2018 visit. My wife and I had a great experience and quite enjoyed the food. Our visit was on a Tuesday at 18:00 and it wasn't very busy, our server was kind and quick, as was the kitchen. The sticky-toffee pudding was definitely a highlight for us, but I think we ate it before we got a picture!

    Food was nice, but some dishes a bit expensive for pub grub. Great kids menu. Staff very nice and helpful. All areas clean and all Covid guidelines used.

    This place is a MUST, very cozy atmosphere with a fire log, food is impeccable, every single item on our dishes were very well seasoned the chef really knows what it’s doing, very attentive waitresses. We’re still very surprised how awesome everything was for a very good price. Definitely coming back next time we’re around!

    Tolles Restaurant, gutes Essen, sehr guter Service, schickes Ambiente. Es wirkt gemütlich und modern zugleich, es ist sauber und ordentlich. Der Service war flink und freundlich. Die Auswahl war groß und preislich in Ordnung. Gerne wieder.

    Had a really good meal here. We're even offered a quiet table in the back in a reserved area if we would be finished before 8:15, over an hour and a half to eat no problem at all! Not too pricy for a quality meal ina good atmosphere.

    Stopped in on the recommendation of a local on the bus. Delicious! We highly recommend the fish chowder. The burger was very good and the veggie pizza was perfect! The staff were very friendly and the service was fast! They were kind to visitors and clearly knew the locals. For dessert we got sticky toffee pudding and profiteroles. The pudding is a must have. Overall I would highly recommend!

    Great place. Very organised with a beautiful decoration and nice environment. The staff is very friendly. They have like a bar in the entrance, in case your purpose is only to drink. If you want to eat they have a very comfortable structure and good options in the menu. Great place to drink and have good food. Recommended.

    Great place to eat. The staff is super nice. You will enjoy your time for sure. We got both leg of lamb 🐑 and it was really really really a good one. We shared dessert (apple pie) and it was really good too. You won't be disappointed to get dinner at this pub 🍻 enjoy it

    Lovely food. Not the same old thing you get nearly everywhere else. They go that little bit extra with the specials. Well done chef. Staff are nice and efficient. Place is clean. Well done

    A party of 6. Ceasar salad was good, veg soup was good. Garlic mushrooms & chips were not good - too greasy and lacking flavour.

    Quiet and large restaurant. The signature burger was not very good at all. Overcooked meat, no sauce that would improve the taste, and onions all in one spot.
