Ann and Mike are very welcoming. We usually stay at the hotel, but this time we decided to try out B&B. It turned out to be a really good experience. Not only the room is spotless and new, we also got some tips from them about the local area as well. The breakfast is really delicious, we did enjoy the homemade soda bread.

Amazing! Without a doubt one of the best stays I've ever had. Friendly helpful hosts, delicious breakfast, comfortable accommodations. In Oranmore 15 min away from Galway!

Ann and Michael have been wonderful so far. We've enjoyed our stay. There are several food options less than a ten minute walk and a grocery store across the street. Great location!! Clean and well maintained.

Oranhill Lodge was absolutely stunning! We stayed in September 2023. The house is beautiful, the hosts are friendly, helpful and very welcoming people. The room was gorgeous, very clean, lovely view of the garden. It's only a few minutes walk from the local village, which offered great food options for dinner. I would most definitely recommend a stay here at Oranhill. Beautiful.

Excellent stay in Oranmore. We aren't big city people, so it was a delight to stay outside of Galway but still close to the main hub. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the front garden. Breakfast was fantastic in the sunroom overlooking the back garden. We had the cheesy eggs one morning, and French toast and the full Irish the other morning and everything was perfect. We had a lot of rain during our stay and it was a treat to sit in the upstairs foyer in front of the big windows, reading coffee and reading a book. The whole house is light and airy and full of plants that give it a very homey feel. Ann and Michael were excellent hosts, very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend Oranhill Lodge to anyone travelling to Galway.

I thought I wrote a review for Mike and Ann. What a stay. We stayed in April 2022. My daughter and myself were on her birthday trip. I can't say enough nice things about the place. It was clean, centrally located to the places were going, the breakfast was outstanding; I'm not a taste tester but my daughter is. I was so happy sticking with the same breakfast. she tried them all. Both Mike and Ann had such great advice regarding things we were doing during the day. They turned us on to very good dinners and I felt like there was someone waiting for us to come home. The room was lovely, it overlooked the backyard. Everything was clean and neat. The bathroom was just enough room not to be too small, and not too much bathroom to overtake the room. I wish we could have stayed longer but we moved onto Dublin. My return trip I'd love to stay there again.

Ann and Michael are wonderful hosts , and run a superb B&B. The rooms are great , the breakfasts superb (with a menu choice) and it is just a short walk to the restaurants and shops in Oranmore. We stayed for 7 nights , and really relished the stay.

If you are headed to Galway, but don't want to stay in the city, this is the place for you. This B&B is located in Oranmore which is about 30 minutes from Galway. It was the perfect place for us with our car. Also, Oranmore is a 10 minute walk from here. There are really good restaurants for lunch or dinner (Brasilico was fantastic). The owners are delightful and the breakfast each morning is home cooked. Nightly rates are very competitive to hotels (frankly better and the breakfast is better).

Beautiful, clean, well-appointed home. The owners, Ann and Mike, were very friendly and extremely helpful. There were multiple choices for breakfast, and they were delicious. THe scones were some of the best we've had anywhere -- nice and moist. Very highly recommended!

Oranhill Lodge is fantastically situated just off the main road, with ample and secure parking. It was easy for us to get the bus into Galway City, with the bus stop just down the road. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts Ann and Michael had great recommendations and information. The breakfast was excellent and it really set us up for the day. The next time we are in Galway, we will try to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Michael & Ann were so welcoming and helpful. Michael gave us great tips on how to travel to Galway and some of the sites by bus. He even drove us into the village one day to get our bus to The Cliffs of Moher. Ann's scones were second to none! They were simply the best. Each morning they gave us extra scones to take with us on our travels. If you're ever traveling to the Galway area, we highly recommend staying at The Oranhill Lodge in Oranmor!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Oranhill Lodge! We wished we could stay longer. Michael and Ann are very kind, generous and helpful. The full Irish breakfast was amazing. It is the best food we had in Ireland. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. We highly recommend staying at Oranhill Lodge.

My family and I have just had a wonderful stay at the Oranhill Lodge! Michael and Ann are the most warm, welcoming and accommodating hosts. Michael shared lots of tips for places to go and restaurants to try. Ann’s breakfasts were delicious - we tried something different every day - French toast, fruit salads and home made scones! Our rooms were spotlessly clean and filled with all the amenities you could need. There was a wonderful little landing where you could sit, enjoy a coffee and soak up the views! The location is perfect, just 10 minutes into Galway and across the road from a small selection of shops. It was our ideal base to travel round the Galway coast. We felt most as home and would recommend this gem of place to others! Thank you again Michael and Ann. ☺️

Superb B&B. Clean comfortable rooms. Michael and Ann went out of the way to make our stay a delight. They were hospitable and helpful and just plain nice. Breakfast is delicious. The scones are divine. Oranhill Lodge exceed any expectations I had when I booked my stay. It is a wonderful place to stay.

Can't give it a high enough review. Everything about it was great the room the food the hosts even the location 10 or 15 minutes outside of the city center. Really gave us a super quiet and relaxing home base and even saves us about 30 minutes driving to the Cliffs of Moher. I don't know why I would ever want to stay anywhere else in Galway

Best B&B we've stayed in, by far. Amenities are superb, the hosts are wonderful, food is amazing, and location is convenient to Galway, Connamara and surrounds. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent breakfast worthy of any 5star hotel with very typical friendly Irish hospitality. Great location close to many convenient stores and eateries. Short drive to Galway and other tourist attractions in the locality. Recommend it highly!

Absolutely loved our stay at this guesthouse. The room was very comfortable and we slept better than we had in months. The bathroom was perfect and had all equipment you may wish for. Breakfast was an absolute highlight: had full Irish and pancakes and both were very delicious. The scones were incredible and I may have to check whether I could get some delivered to Dublin as I miss them already. Anne and Michael are incredible hosts. So kind and caring that coming back to the guesthouse felt like coming home to family. Quick tip: book directly to their website rather than booking or Expedia as it will be much cheaper.
