I was in a car accident where I was rear-ended by a semi truck on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo. I struggled with low back pain for months and tried many treatments. I saw Jonathan to try acupuncture treatments. It was my first time. I was a bit nervous. Jonathan explained everything first and put my mind at ease. The needles were very small and not painful. He also used mild electrical stimulation with them in my lower back. I was very happy with the treatment and have fully recovered. I recommend it.

Kristo was professional and so gentle. It was my first time ever seeing an acupuncturist and he was patient with me and made me feel very comfortable. Not only did he listen to how I was feeling and validate my pain but I felt immediate relief after he applied the needles. Kristo is an expert and really knows what he is doing. I have a deviated septum and suffer from chronic sinus infections but after my treatment I was really able to breathe! I felt so relaxed and was able to sleep soundly that night for the first time in a long time. I had an amazing experience and would recommend Kristo to anyone.

After inflaming an old injury I decided to explore acupuncture for the first time. Needless to say (or ...needles to say) i was a bit nervous, but Jonathan was able to make me feel calm and comfortable throughout the entire process! I left the appointment not only feeling improvements in my body, but also feeling connected to the healing process. Jonathan took the time to answer my questions in great detail, which allowed me to actually understand what was going on with my injury and how acupuncture is beneficial to healing. This man truly cares about his clients. I was looking for an acupuncturist in the central California coast area while I was traveling, and I'm so grateful I found Jonathan. He scheduled me last minute in an emergency situation. He was warm and inviting and his calm manner helped me relax right away. He spent extra time to ensure I got the best acupuncture treatment, then created custom Chinese herb blend perfect for me. He made time to see me the next day (Saturday) and had done some research to make sure I was getting appropriate care. The acupuncture treatments really helped with the pain I was experiencing. I went to see Jonathan at intuitive acupuncture after I found myself unable to turn my head to the right. I had been sleeping on the floor for a couple days and it had really messed up my neck/shoulders. I was originally skeptical of acupuncture as a treatment but it totally worked! Jonathan made me feel calm and relaxed during the process and my neck/shoulder issue was completely resolved. I’ve also gone to Jonathan for cupping and I loved the way it made me feel. I saw Jonathan years ago and he COMPLETELY cured my plantar fasciitis! It was so painful waking up and placing those first few steps on the floor in the morning. I read a Yelp review that he helped someone else cure their plantar fasciitis, so I figured I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did! I no longer have to restrict the shoes I wear or worry about having to buy orthotics for my shoes. I had no idea that acupuncture could help with plantar fasciitis, but Jonathan totally helped cure me of it and I am so grateful. I'm now seeing him for pain in my neck and I'm confident he'll help me with this pain as well. He's a super-knowledgeable, soft-spoken caring person who will make you feel at ease, and his office is very accessible with on-site parking. Jonathan is exceptional at what he does. He made me feel comfortable from the beginning (even though I was a bit nervous). He asked a series of questions to pin point and customize my treatment. As soon as I was able to relax I began to feel the euphoric relaxation. Adding acupuncture and cupping into my wellness regimen has been an absolute game changer. I would highly recommend Jonathan for anyone looking into acupuncture services.

After my GP, chiropractor, and massage therapist all thought that the pain in my shoulder blade was from tension in my back, Kristo at Intuitive Acupuncture believed that my shoulder and back were actually over stretched and that the tension resided in my chest. He treated my chest and back with acupuncture and cupping. After three sessions with Kristo I am significantly improved.

I have received treatment from both Jonathan and Kristo, and both were phenomenal. Jonathan is an expert at treating all things pain related, things that I would typically take an advil for and have to deal with for weeks. Pain is mitigated within one or two sessions I have found. It is extremely effective. I have begun treatments with Kristo to address heavy menstrual cycles and extreme pain during menses, as well as acne/skin issues. He is incredibly gentle and a true expert within this area of treatment! He is also a Chinese herbalist so I plan to add some herbs to my treatments per his recommendation. Together, these two make an amazing team and can cover a very wide breadth of health issues. Acupuncture has become my go-to for health management.

These guys are miracle workers. I entered in serious pain and left with immediate relief after the first treatment. After a few treatments of acupuncture, cupping and gua sha I am almost pain free. The office staff is helpful and friendly. I was skeptical and they took the time to listen and help.

I made an emergency appointment when I was in town for my own wedding. My sciatica was at a 9/10 pain level and I had to get married in 2 days. I couldn’t sit for more than a minute, couldn’t take a full step with my left leg, and was in agony. Jonathan squeezed me in and spent so much time with me. Worked on me with every tool he had for as long as it took. I could tell that he was completely invested in getting me better for my big day and wasn’t going to let me leave until we had a breakthrough. He got me out of pain and into a place where I could walk down the aisle, sit for an amazing lunch, and hang out with my wife and family all night with no pain. I cannot recommend this place enough. All the staff is amazing and caring, Jonathan is very knowledgeable and was able to drastically help me with muscle imbalances, joint pain, and other orthopedic conditions. They also have functional medicine specialist Mary who is awesome. If you want to heal your body holistically through eastern medicine and are located in the central coast, give intuitive acupuncture a try and you will not be disappointed.
