I used to dislike going to the dentist. Then I went to see Dr Uchida and I've never felt so at ease! He took extra time to explain my treatment plan. He and his staff were SUPER nice. Brand new, clean and modern, office was real nice with TVs to watch DURING your procedure...that helped make me more comfortable. Staff helped submit to insurance and explain everything. For the first time ever I'm looking forward to my 6-month checkup.

Dr. Uchida and his staff provide excellent dental care in a friendly atmosphere! Their new office is clean and inviting. I felt very safe going there especially during these times when businesses are just starting to open back up as all the staff wear masks and a temperature check is initiated at check in. Having my cavities filled, Dr. Uchida took the time to make sure the areas he would be working on were numb so i would not feel a thing. He made sure to let me know the steps he was performing, what should be expected, and checked to make sure i was doing okay while he performed the procedure. It was quick and painless! They also have a tv on the ceiling if you would like to watch something while they are working on your teeth. When the procedure was complete, he made sure everything felt fine and I was able to see before and after pictures of my teeth. He was very thorough and went over any signs or symptoms that would warrant a phone call /followup with their office. I highly recommend Dr. Uchida and his staff!

The office staff were friendly and organized, not to mention the office is clean and modern. Dr. Uchida was prompt, professional and friendly. He listens to your concerns and goals as a patient and truly provides patient-centered care. Dr. Uchida takes the time to explain every detail of his treatment plan, in order to restore and maintain oral health. I am impressed with the care I received and highly recommend!

Dr Uchida, and staff at Smile Oswego Dental, is a top notch dental practice in all aspects! As a dentist myself, I will only trust my oral health to those who deliver optimal care, and Dr Uchida is a very talented dentist who truly cares about his patients and goes to great lengths to making sure that all of his patients are comfortable and well taken care of. The office has a fresh look to it and in a prime location! The staff is extremely friendly and treats patients like family. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Uchida and Smile Oswego Dental for anyone who is looking for a great dentist for years to come. Five stars all the way!!!

We feel very lucky to have found Dr. Uchida! He is professional, caring, a good listener and a superb dentist. He is precise in his work. He was the only dentist that was able to correct a long-time dental challenge I experienced for many years. I am so appreciative! As a somewhat nervous patient (by nature), Dr. Uchida’s calm demeanor and compassionate qualities were calming. He has a gentle hand when he is performing the procedures (the injections were painless) and explains everything prior, giving me peace of mind. I’ve never had more comfortable crown and filling experiences and the end results were outstanding. His staff (front and back office) is skilled and friendly and made me feel welcome each visit. And his new practice is beautiful. We’re new to Lake Oswego and we feel that we struck gold with Dr. Uchida and Smile Oswego Dental. He is the BEST dentist we’ve ever had. Thank you, Dr. Uchida!

I've been to 3 dentists in the last 3 years and I finally found my people! Like most people, going see the dentist is not one of my favorite things (Sorry Marcus!) but my experience with Dr. Uchida and his whole team has been exceptional. He is professional but very friendly and a great communicator. Actually makes going to the dentist fun (ok, well maybe not fun, but a much more pleasant experience:) If you are looking for a new dentist, these guys are the best!

Front desk lady is so sweet and amazing! The male dentist is out standing 5 stars all the way when it comes to feeling comfortable and also having professional experienced dental care. I have severe dental anxiety and I can say I will now be able to go to the dentist and feel comfortable.

Had my first appointment with Dr Marcus Uchida today. I was very apprehensive due to the fact that I hadn't had any dental care for three years during the pandemic and knew my teeth were not in good shape. Jennifer at reception was very friendly and helpful, Tracy was fast and efficient taking my xrays (and also friendly) and RDH did an excellent job cleaning my teeth (friendly too)! Dr Uchida was so personable and kind and explained what he saw on my x-rays which, happily, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. He prioritized the work that needed to be done but left it up to me to decide what to do first. There was no pressure and no judgement...I'm so happy I found this practice. I am very impressed and highly recommend them. Oh, and my exam and x-rays were free with their advertized special. It was a real pleasure to meet them all!
