Update: I still love this place. The owners are so sweet. Great customer service from their employees and of course amazing food. 💜💜 It was my first time coming to Breadless and as my friend and I entered we were immediately greeted. The environment was very relaxed and clean. You can see your food being prepared which is a great plus. The Cloud 9 pastrami sandwich I got was by far the sandwich ever 💜... No lie! It was so flavorful and tasty. It wasn't heavy but it was oh so satisfying. I had to literally stop eating and take a picture. We also had teas which tasted amazing too, very refreshing. It was so good I stopped and called to the restaurant and spoke to the owner to praise the food. When I say I'm so excited to return to this establishment, I'm literally thinking of what to try next. I highly recommend this place!

Omg so good !! I had the "what the kale" (made with halal chicken) and the pomegranate green tea. It was just perfect. So much flavor in the sandwich !!! Try it ! You won't be disappointed ! I will definitely go back.

"We are all made of something different" I feel like i walked into the restaurant I've been spending my whole life looking for. I've only been in Detroit for two years, but in two pandemic years, that means i haven't gotten to eat at many places here with lockdowns and protocols. Coming from Los Angeles, the skies in the D couldn't have shone any brighter upon me as i entered Breadless. A place with parking in a charming neighborhood, next to a trusty old friend in red hook (I grabbed a latte after). The moment I walked in, a modern take on fast casual. I was greeted by everyone with such enthusiasm. The energy in the room from everyone there was so bright it just put me in an amazing mood. Every guest who walked through the door was instantly transformed into a state of good vibes. You might have called me "breathless" because it took my breath away. It's such a modern and fresh concept, i find it amazing this place was hatched here in Detroit. The food offers so many low sugar, healthy green and meaty options with plenty of vegan choices, that i could bring any set of friends here to find a knockout dish. No food preference is a second class food citizen here. While I'm not usually keto or Paleo, this place is great for these good choices which is my general preference. Perhaps you might wonder, what is breadless? It's certainly not an afterthought junk "un-wich" that puts a sub sandwich in between some nutrient-void iceberg lettuce. These sandwiches are designed with hearty power greens to serve where bread might traditionally be used. As a lover of greens, you can get it wrapped in rainbow chard (the inspiration for their branding color palette), kale and other such lovely leaves. I was nervous about sauces and juice in a leaf wrap, but this was no issue. I also wasn't sure if you could tame an otherwise unwieldy pastrami in a least wrap. Boy was i surprised! It was perfectly applied, and honestly not sloppy or loose like a typical sandwich. It was packed hard and certainly didn't drip. There were a lot of really nice spring vegetable ingredients on them as well. You can also get them served as a hot bowl if you're in more of a "fork" mood. They have some really creative side dishes in dried veg chips in jicama, carrot, and cauliflower. And some what i would call, "agua frescas" lighter on sugar and big on flavor. You can also get pressed juices and other drinks. I tried a pair of sandwiches because i couldn't pick just one. I had to follow the rainbow chard and go for the "Chardi B" and the pastrami sandwich (i forgot the name). They were both amazing i would offer both again. My friend ordered a Chardi b in a bowl and loved hers. We ate outside with some other patrons and chatted it up. Everyone there lived how different and healthy it was. I took a Chardi B sandwich back for a friend at work who had never had a Breadless sandwich and was shocked by how awesome it was. One thing i loved about my experience, was not eating a freaky fast sandwich and hitting a freaky fast wall a half hour later when the bread starts digesting. After eating Breadless i felt like i could have gone running. Also, i loved the veggie chips there so much more than eating potato chips. They also felt good. The green juice was a little more sugar that i prefer (12 grams), but i can live with that. Call it "dessert". I understand their beverage selection will grow quickly from what they told me. I did some probing with the team there. They have an amazingly talented, classically trained chef, which is why each dish is not only unique, but flawlessly executed with perfectly paired ingredients. There's a rock star team of young food industry pros who are looking to pop up more of these. I say to that "hell yes!" Also, look for a mobile app and delivery soon. I don't know about where they source their ingredients, but I'm sure we'll find out next time. I would guess they have nice suppliers.

We grabbed the What The Kale Bowls and the only things I didn't care for was the dressing which is bbq sauce and that the kale wasn't chopped. Loved the atmosphere, cleanliness, friendliness of the gentleman that greeted and laugh with us 😄 as well as the outdoor seating. Hopefully they'll be more menu items to choose from in the near future!!

I will drive out of my way if needed to go here! Delicious, healthy wraps - don’t miss the bread or tortilla wrap. I tried the Bird is The Word and the Chardi B - both delicious! Satisfying and I didn’t feel the bread bloat. I would recommend everyone try it.

Incredible to finally have a place in Detroit that has healthy options that I can eat on-the-go and that are actually full of flavor! I loved their sandwiches, bowls, the pomegranate green tea, and even their chips were great. It's also a huge bonus that everything on the menu is 100% gluten-free and low-carb since they use leafy super greens instead of bread — I’m the one always taking the bread off my food at other places!

Healthy food options are great. This place has delicious healthy options. From the variety of sandwiches wrapped in lettuce, kale, swiss chard and the like. Who needs bread? The Caulipop is like garlicky cauliflower popcorn. It's good. The Jicama chips have a Chili Lime flavor and the Carrot chips are just lightly salted. If you're in the area make sure to try it out. Very friendly staff.

The what the kale was so good. The spice and bbq sauce was perfect. The dine in experience was very pleasant. The guys working were nice and greeted us when we walked in. The place is outfitted with cool branding. I'll be back!

What an interesting concept! Who knew you could have a sandwich without bread!? Tasty and healthy meal. One wrap wasn't enough food for me (has the Buckwild) but otherwise really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

I saw on the news that they opened up a new location in Rochester and I had to try it. I got the pastrami on a collard green wrap and everything was so fresh and delicious. The coleslaw was also five stars. I highly recommend this place to everybody that is looking for a bread alternative

My mom and I went after her Dr's appointment, we wanted to eat something healthier. We both knew about this place, but never actually stopped in...I'm glad we finally did. I had the Chardi B as a wrap and mom had it as a bowl. Both were equally delicious! We will definitely be back!!!

The food here is phenomenal! I just ordered the "What the Kale" sandwich! It's fast food but it's delicious and healthy fast food! Clean eating done right! "What the Kale" comes with Dino Kale + Halal Roasted Chicken, Sugar Free BBQ Sauce, Monterey Jack Cheese, Caramelized Onions, Sautèed Peppers, Tomatoes, and Sweet Pickles. It is only 260 calories! The restaurant was very clean and the interior design was very cool! I will be back indefinitely! Nice job!

This place is phenomenal. When you walk through the door staff greets you warmly and friendly. Ultimate go to stop for a healthy FRESH and satisfying break from the average sandwich 🥪. I've enjoyed the Chardi B and the Cloud 9 - fresh, fresh, fresh!

I absolutely love this place! Drive from far away to get my fix. Always fast, healthy, fresh, flavorful, staff is excellent, and it's always clean in the storefront.

Absolutely phenomenal sandwich/wrap. The buckwild was super tasty. The coleslaw, pickle spear, and gluten-free oatmeal cookie were as expected… nothing out of this world. Definitely will be ordering again to try the other sandwiches and potentially other sides. Very satisfied. Would highly recommend.

The Jerk City Chicken was incredible! I was blown away by the amount of flavor packed into this wrap. I can't wait to come back, it will definitely become a staple in my rotation as I work nearby. Reasonably priced for the super fresh and flavorful ingredients. Friendly staff and the patio is very comfortable, enjoy it while the weather is beautiful!

The wraps were amazing!! We built our own based on what we like. I got the mushrooms wrapped in collard greens and added a bunch of toppings and sauce. It was delicious. My husband tried the Smokehouse veggie slices and absolutely loved it. Wish we had this in Toronto :(
