Excellent food! We had the chicken and waffles and pork tacos. We also tried the Bloody Mary - it was fabulous! Service was also great, we went for an early lunch.

Great place! Food was amazing. Prices were good. And we must’ve came at a great time too, considering we were the only people here. Such a neat little spot with a variety of options. As a vegetarian, going to new restaurants is somewhat of a chore because I never know what my options will be. However, I absolutely loved the food I was able to order here. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was a really pleasant experience. Definitely will recommend in the future.

Nashville hot chicken sandwich was so good. It is very large. Not as spicy as actual Nashville hot, but really good taste

We tried Adam's Street Cafe for the first time today as part of Restaurant Week. I picked up the Chicken Pot Pie family meal. It was amazing! The chicken pot pie had a very light, flaky crust and the inside was filled with a good balance of chicken and vegetables. It had a smoky aroma, which I'm not sure if it was intentional or a result of being prepared in a kitchen with smoked meats. It definitely worked in its flavor (hehe). The pot pie came with salad for four which consisted of a mix of leaf lettuces, carrots, tomatoes and thin sliced cucumber. The vinaigrette dressing was aromatic and flavorful with hints of lemon and dill. Our meal was rounded out with a serving of fudge, chocolate brownies. Overall, it was a good, quality homemade comfort food meal at a great price ($35), which was perfect on a Monday and to kick off Restaurant Week. I cannot wait until we have the chance to go back and dine-in!

The flavor is good, however the chicken was over cooked and stringy. The staff is great. I would go back and try it again.

Great downtown restaurant. We had a smoked beef sandwich, hot chicken sandwich, turkey bacon gouda sandwich, butter fries, kale slaw, and turkey & dumplings soup. Everything was delicious and everyone was happy with their food. Best turkey sandwich ever. Butter fries are so good. Super friendly service and the prices are beyond reasonable.

Great sandwiches and buttered fries. Family style dinners on Friday nights are the best. Besides tonight was ribeye and walleye with blue berry buttermilk pie chaser. Oh yeah and they have bourbon. My wife likes their Raman bowls.

Little gem of downtown Toledo! Smaller menu, but great options, even for vegetarians. Had their veggie hash, and it was fabulous! Busy little place, but clean, and friendly staff. Will be back!

Love love the family Friday night dinners! They have a great vegan chickpea sandwich. They also recently catered to order for an event I had, and it was so wonderful. If you are looking for downtown, this is the place! Also great soups and desserts!

Reviews seemed pretty good so decided to give this place a try for a lunch date. We got the poutine to share as an appetizer and it was ok, definitely underwhelming as far as flavor. I ordered the pastrami Ruben and the bread was burnt, the pastrami was dry and mostly fatty pieces with very little thousand island dressing nor sauerkraut.The pickle was tasty. The waitress seemed bothered and rushing us, even though it wasn't very busy. My cousin got the chicken and waffles which were just ok, very thin but tasty waffle, chicken was not appetizing, but that's just personal preference as it is a thigh piece. The home made chocolate cake was really yummy 😋😋😋 best part of the meal and came with ice cream.

Love restaurant week. We'd never been here and really liked it. Drink specials were great. Family style meal was very good, with steak, and fish and veggies along with mashed pots. Dessert was sort of a custardy cheesecake with blueberries which definitely was made there fresh. Highly rec.

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant near the Great Lakes Museum as there was not a thing at Tony Pacos that she could eat. Googled 'Gluten-Free' and this place popped up, and we were glad it did. I had a turkey Rubin and she had a salad and they were both great, fresh, and tasty. You could tell the kitchen really cared about what was served, the waitress was great, and they had a beer I have never had before. All in all, an excellent experience. We came here after eloping up the street. It may have been the post wedding joy, but this was the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Seems very cool and hip. I hope it stays open for many years so we can come back for our anniversaries!!

Adam St . Cafe is a hidden gem in the midst of downtown Toledo. The cafe has a rustic ambiance, The menu offers unique fare,most if not all entrees home-made. Try their pork,vegetables and noodle soup you will go back for more. Tonight I tried the smoked salmon spinach salad and started with broccoli cheddar soup. (Did I mention home made already) It was amazing.If you have not been, you are missing out.

Foods good. Not to expensive either. Nice atmosphere. Staff is very nice keeps glasses filled and tables clean.

i had the tofu ramen. i never come with too high hopes for vegan menu items, but the fact that they were advertising their ramen in the window made me curious. it's a discrete little place, and when you come in, you get the feeling that you've found a hidden local gem. it has that cozy tavern feel to it. the service was prompt, the place was clean, and the food was good. my only nitpick would be that the broth to ingredient ratio of the ramen was a bit too broth heavy, and maybe it could have featured some kind of side condiment like vinegar, or hot oil, but overall they seem to really know what they're doing.

So yummy! Unassuming spot with a nice laid back atmosphere, super friendly service, but the #1 thing is the foooddd. We had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the turkey Gouda and bacon sandwich. The chicken was perfectly hot n spicy, the turkey was smokey and deliciously moist. Easy 5 stars.

Six of us ate there today. Everyone ordered something different and we were all really happy about the food and the service. Our server was Samantha and she was very nice.

I really love this place I really do. Their food is great and the staff is friendly. But just because you make soup 🍲 and add a hard boiled egg it doesn't make it ramen 🍜. Do you patrons a favor and listen to Kitchen Confidential if it's time to throw in the towel just do it. I hope for all of our sake this is not the case but that's how it's starting to look from the outside.

Awesome little downtown spot. Full of character. I really enjoyed the different table clothes and decor. I had the turkey bacon gouda. I'm not a big turkey fan, but the smoked turkey was so tasty and I could taste the smokiness. Super yum! My son had the bacon brie burger-oooh the brie looked creamy. Can't wait to go back!
