I could not have made a better choice in bartenders for our wedding. Before the wedding Bombs Away Bartending and Catering answered all my questions and helped me to ensure I had everything to make the night a success. They arrived on time, dressed for the occasion, and immediately got to work organizing and prepping the bar for the wedding. My guests were raving all night about how fun the bar was and how kind the bartenders were. They were clearly experienced and able to make GOOD drinks that kept our guests happy and going back for more. We had 150 guests and there was never a line for drinks. They kept everything moving quickly and always made sure the bride and groom were served first. I could not recommend their services more! If we ever have another big event, they will be the first people I call.

Bombs Away Cafe is open again and I’d say the food is almost better, amazingly! They really cleaned the place up nice and have added a bunch of really delicious vegan and non vegan options. This place is so delicious. Daniel Read IV

3.5 with no rounding Interesting place to visit, they are not crowded at all during weekends afternoon. Notice that their chips are not homemade, just something you can buy from store. Their food are okay.

Ok, I'm not a big reviewer, but this place was a big disappointment ya'll. I had a overpriced, salty, microwave flavored burrito while I listened to a guy rant about his divorce to the bartender. Literally a staff member vaccumed the carpet on the stage while I ate my meal, during what I would consider to be a pretty peak time of night for folks to be stopping here for dinner. Note to the wise: I might check out Qdoba or McMenimans next time, if faced with the choice of where to eat in downtown Corvallis.

Great place for live shows most Friday and Saturday nights. They don't do a great job advertising the shows but if you dig you can find them. Affordable drinks. Great food. My partner and I have this on our regular rotation.

Stopped in for a quick lunch based on the good reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. The vegetarian chili was nicely flavored and creamy, and there was a margarita special that was kinda weak but fine for $3. Friendly service and a stroad-side seat in the parklet made for a relaxing lunch.

This is an ongoing review, last updated: 07.19.23 As I try items on the menu I’ll give a short impression and add them as I try them if I can but some of the items were tried without the date tracked and may be older or no longer on the menu but the impression was logged previously. General impression of the business: My visit was during the DJ Spotlight so that would heavily skew the impression of the normal atmosphere, for that event though it seemed fun. The service was great from the staff, unfortunately due to the nature of the bar being small it is slow, I imagine during the day with the front open it would be much faster when every need isn't being met by one bartender. Menu item review: Name: Bomber Burrito Date: 07.11.23 Rating: 2/5 The Bomber Burrito was pretty meh, considering the price it had very little meat and mostly consisted of dry rice and corn, the tortilla was soft and flavorful and the seasoning was good.

What a great little place to eat. Small stage just inside the door for performances. Food was reasonably priced and filling. Cheapest is about $4.00 per taco up to about $15. For a burger. There is not a lot of street parking. Mostly 1hr meter parking that only takes quarters. It's totally worth trying it, though, if you are in the neighborhood.

We stopped at Bombs Away Cafe for a snack and it was great! We had the Classic Taco in a Soft Corn Tortilla with Shredded Chicken, Romaine Lettuce, Cheddar-Jack Cheese Blend, and Corn Salsa. The Sweet Boots has Roasted Pork Shoulder, Diablo Hot Sauce, Pineapple, Onion, and Cilantro in an Organic Yellow Soft Tortilla. This was so incredible and you must try it!

The music was fantastic, but I have never successfully ordered a drink or food at this establishment in 2 years of regularly attending events. I had dialogue with the owner, who said he really didn't know the service was so bad. I love the Jazz and Funk Jam and many of the groups they bring to town. But just once, too purchases a beverage or a meal would be great.

Got some great nachos and burritos. Staff was friendly. Clearly set up for musical bands to perform. At the time. The place looked mostly empty, but it was late afternoon before any real rush started. We got a pitcher of margarita that was great. Great time. Would go again.

Great tacos, including legitimate vegan options. Cocktails were also great, and the beer selection was better than most we tried in the area. I'm giving it 4 stars because I'm reviewing it specifically as a restaurant. As a bar to come to when the band is in full swing, probably 5 stars. Just depends on what experience you're looking for. We went for dinner and the vibe was not ideal for that. Granted, we came in a little late (maybe 8pm) so they were maybe moving towards the nightlife/bar atmosphere. Why it wasn't a 5-star dinner experience was that there was a band playing 30 seconds of a song about every two or three minutes for a good hour we were there. My guess is they were warming up, but it was jarring to go between super loud music then abrupt silence shortly thereafter. The seating was also very limited to accommodate the dance/stand-and-bob-your-head floor. Still a very good experience overall and I'd come again.

I've ordered takeaway here twice over the last two months. Both times were early in the evenings on Friday. The first time, I ordered a large wet burrito and wound up with something disappointingly small for the price point. It also made me sick. The second time, I ordered the diabolo burger, which was a fine burger, albeit a little undercooked, and a decent bang for my buck, had it not also made me sick. Overall I think this place is a little overpriced for the portions you receive, and the fact that it's made me sick makes me not really want to give this place a third shot.

They left out part of my $100+ to-go order and I have called multiple times to ask them to refund the missing items, and their phone number goes straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full. Not cool.

What's with the 5 stars? I would double it and add some more!....for food, drinks, service and ambience! 5 years between visits but this Aussie always returns to Corvallis and Bombs Away of course! Thanks Matt ...you are a legend. Not only a great bar tender but a bloody all round good guy!.... thanks for listening to my crazy stories! See you at the "End of the Line Pub" one day! 😜

Ordered the veggie tacos take away and they tasted empty of flavor. They also did not give me the rice and beans I ordered.

Really good food, but they have no phone and their online order form inexplicably doesn't include burgers. Having to go in-person to order takeout is a pain. Worth it though. I'll change this back to a five once I can order takeout properly.

It's a rocking place. The food, and drinks in this place are great and worth the money. It is usually not crowded during weekdays but the ambience at this place is extremely satisfying — enough to meet the weekend goals. They also have occasional music shows to cheer the customers.
