This park is amazing. It is just a short drive up Provo Canyon from Orem and halfway between the base of the mountain and Sundance Resort. In addition to being located in one of my favorite places in the world it is one of my favorite parks to stop at for many reason it has an ample parking lot. Sometimes Sundance Resort has no Drive dates for employees and they are able to park here as to save parking for guests at the resort and take a bus up the Canyon from here it takes about 10 minutes to drive from this parking lot to the base of Sundance Resort. The park has beautiful mountain and canyon views. There are several bridges that cross over the Provo river and to the paved bike/hike/jog path. It's sprawling expanse is adjacent to the river as well as having a large area of green grass and an amphitheater area, There are many picnic tables under a covered roof and we can barbecue or have events there for family and friend together it offers many benefits for all such as play place for kids, clean bathrooms, a large area for hiking and that trail for biking and jogging that winds through the Canyons against the mountain. I love this area, it is so gorgeous. There are many birds and Woodland creatures and most notably I saw a bald eagle on a tree who stayed there as I took several pictures and that just put the crown jewel upon the Majestic scene.

The river is so high! (June 17, 2023) Not to worry, just scurry over the bridge quickly to the park beyond. We love it for the trails and the fun family memories. Adequate parking and a beautiful spot, too.

This was such a beautiful, well kept, and peaceful park with so much to explore. I love that the river is right there and there were all the amenities you could need for a great BBQ or family gathering, etc.

Perfect place to spend a spring day, with tables and firepits. Not too busy and kept up. Lazy river this time of year with plenty of rocks for hopping over the water.

Park was a great little park, lots of grass, had tables and a few barbeques. Lots of Walking Paths, Cement and Dirt. Great Place to take a break and walk your dog. Had a River that ran thru it, the river was a little swollen and fast due to the record snowfall this year. (so had to be careful when using it) The plus side it was free unlike a lot of other places that you need to pay or have passes

Great for walking, running, biking, picnicking, camping, or just kicking back under a tree. Miles of trails. Clean well maintained restrooms.

Nice picnic area and has good access to the Provo river parkway. You can picnic, bbq, play volleyball, ride your bike, walk, play in the river or spend some quiet time. Best place for kids and adults. I will highly recommend it.

Cool hike (though the beginning can get confusing and was extremely difficult). Pretty views overall and not too bad to do!

Great place to go to beat the heat! Not to far up Provo canyon coming from the Orem/Provo area it's a quick drive anytime you need to get away for a bit or get together with friends&family. Even a business meeting depending on the weather! I really enjoy Canyon Glen! Definitely would recommend it to all!.... Just not all at once! Lol

Lovely place! Most likely would be quiet if the construction wasn't going on in the main road. Loved sitting by the river.... very relaxing.

Fantastic park!! Tons of space, and it's by the river. You can reserve pavilions, or you can just find some shade, or use one of the picnic bench areas. Great park!

This is one of my favorite parks down Provo canyon. I always picnic on the West side where there are tables scattered through trees and you cross a bridge over the river to get there. It's just peaceful and beautiful there.

If everyone packs out what they bring in, this park will continue to be an amazing place for get togethers and picnics. .

Beautiful location. Has plenty of open room for partied to play out door games, hammock, slack line, or just have a chat around one of their many fire pits. Also provides great trails for long boarding.

One of the larger parks in Provo canyon, and it has a lot of amenities. Covered picnic areas, grills, large open areas, and a beautiful cold river cutting through it all. Great place for family get-togethers and picnics. It can get busy, so get there early if you want a specific place.
