The scones and rolls are sooooooo good. The sweet pork is really good too (Thurs special). There’s always something for everyone and the quality is much better than other comparable (and more expensive) priced buffets in a Utah. Kids are very affordable (especially the younger they are). Plus the meal comes with free drinks at Chuck-A-Rama.

Visited this location to celebrate my sons Birthday. The gentleman who helped check us in was very friendly and helpful. The food was decent. A few of the staff were very kind and brought my son an ice cream sundae and sang Happy Birthday to him which I really appreciated. Overall great service and decent food.

Had the "Seafood Buffet" on a Friday! Nice Interior, Good service. Decent amount of items in an affordable price. Specially liked the Shrimp Fried Rice, Kettle Roasted Turkey, Alakan Cod, Fish Fry, Brownies!

I’m traveling to Vancouver and we stop to Salt Lake City to visit some museums and places. We got hungry and we found this restaurant near the museum. I will put 3 stars because the service was lent and the food could be great, but I will say is very clean and some of the American food like mash potatoes and green beans and salads where okay, the price little bit pricy for the east fast food they sell. Could be better. If I come back one day I will try again. If you want to eat only salads and you are on diet could be the best option for you.

Came in town to visit with my brother. We always go to this place because of how close and never been disappointed with service and food. But today was terrible. Meat was fatty, hardly could cut let alone chew. Potato salad was off, drinks were flat and no ice. We talked for a while but both agreed the food was not good. Asked for a refund because we did not eat. The mgr was brought over. Did not believe me. Went and talked to the waiter. Came back and informed me no refund. I tried to explain but she talked over me and embarrassed me in front others in line. She (Filomena)said several times that we were here for a long time ( about 2 hours) and for that reason no refund. I did enjoy my time with my brother but the food was disappointing. Hoping for a refund but not expected. Definitely would like to see the mgr given customer service classes or given different classes if her actions is what is expected.... But for me... Very unacceptable!!!!!

IF I COULD PUT 20 stars I would! EPIC EVERYTHING!! quality, quantity, variety, the staff is great! Miguel, Amanda(our waiters) were so nice! Really nice warm latino community 😍.There is everything that u can imagine! From simple fries to ice cream, drinks, cookies, its like be in a all inclusive in Cuba, but in salt lake! 😎simply EPIC! Thank u all!! we will definitely come back!

My Aunt and I come here often.. The staff here is very friendly, caring, loving. We've come to known some of them closely. It's wonderful to walk in and be greeted by our names. The food is always wonderful. I commend all those that cook this wonderful food. The cleanliness the care that they show to the customers is amazing. We will continue to come back as often as we can

Visited this place while on vacation with son and family. Food was mediocre and kind of bland. Variety was good however. Took forever to find someone to serve the ham, turkey and beef. Reminded me of a place more fit for the older crowd. Did have a great server and the environment was pleasant. Price wasnt so bad either.

This is my go-to for American food buffet. While I'm not a big fan of buffet restaurants, this is the best in town so far as I know. I will go back many times. Went in again August 2023. On a Monday. Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was fairly quiet. I'll be back!

It's a buffet. Something for everyone. The salad bar is amazing and has everything you could want. Little corns, beets, croutons, corn, diced ham and a good selection of dressings. The dessert table has a great selection from carrot cake to bread pudding. They have pizza, fried or baked or BBQ chicken, tacos, scones, roast, frog eye salad, rolls and a large selection of drinks plus much more and it's all you can eat!

Every time we travel to Utah I try to stop at a Chuck A Rama. Mainly for the frog eye salad, it's hard to find outside of Utah. This visit was similar to others. Their food is consistently decent, with numerous options to choose from. Staff does a good job of keeping the items stocked and areas clean. They offer military discounts as well. The rolls and scones with honey butter are AMAZING. You can't go wrong with the desserts either. Just make sure you wear your stretchy pants and get some exercise in afterward!

They're not as affordable as they used to be because of inflation, but still a decent value. The service is good and it's a great place to get Utah style American cuisine.

Very dissatisfied with the food. There was no beef, no pork, no ham. Our server was good and tried to accommodate. It was 3:30 PM and we were told it is better after 4:00. Price is the same at 3:30 as at 4:00.

Disappointing. We used to look forward to a family trip here but our last two visits have not been good. This most recent visit was the worst yet. The food was bland or overcooked and three of my party of five even fell ill a couple of hours agree we are here.

Good food... excellent salad bar.. we came from Florida, and stopped in Salt Lake city.. and we found this buffet. Everything good except typical buffet crowd.

I have not been to Chuck a Rama in years. Brought some coworkers here for the very first time. I was very disappointed. I told them how amazing so many items I have loved for years I had. Most of them were not good. And the desserts were the worst. The one thing that has always been my favorites is Carrot Cake. This was undercooked and someone did not follow the recipe for spices. Very sadly we are what we could. Rolls ..there was two left there and they were cold. Guess there are just some things that cannot be the same even though there is a specific recipe

It's a buffett that the kids love. It is also a great place when you have a large group of people that want to sit and laugh. The staff is amazing and they will keep your brother-in-law in fried shrimp until he is happy that he left the house

Not a large selection of hot items during the weekday but some dishes stand out like their meatballs and soups. Very nice salad bar and dessert selection. Staff was very nice and helpful in refilling drinks, clearing tables, and keeping the buffet stocked

I tend to avoid eating downtown, but this place has a good atmosphere and is a good place to feed a family. I absolutely love their scones and honey butter! Our server was very attentive and despite this being a self serve buffet, he made sure we had full drinks.

My husband and I went on Mexican day, food was very good, a lot of options besides Mexican food. Loved the ice cream too, I always have fun putting them in cones haha.

We made it just in time before the rush really hit. Food was great! Fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Had all American variety from mashed potatoes, turkey and stuffing, sliced roast beef, ham etc. Baked chicken to fried chicken. Desserts were good as well. You can also serve your own drinks! Love this place.

I haven’t been here in YEARS and I have to say everything was delicious. It was Mexican night so I’m enjoyed cafe Rio salad. Had to have a scone, rice pudding and a few small samplings. Our Server Logan was awesome, attentive and friendly! We’ll come back 😁
