We went there for a quick coffee, but unfortunately it took us more than 25 minutes to get our drinks because of a long line. However, baristas were great and very polite and this made up for the wait. The place is weirdly located downstairs, but it’s a very interesting spot and well designed. I liked the environment. I got a Caramel Latte and it was pretty good. Not the best, but surely good quality and well made.

Great spot, kinda hidden. Have to go downstairs but once you get there it’s such a chill clean spot. Planned on getting a coffee and going but it was relaxing and I started doing some writing which I haven’t been doing. Great Vibe, Friendly Staff, super chill atmosphere. Jules was very nice and so was the owner. I had the Cupla Bullet (Hot) and the Cookie Monster(cold) both very good. I’m updating my review because I’ve now been here 3 times in 2 days and this time I tried their bacon breakfast burrito, hit the spot. Abby was working today and was such entertainment.

I honestly wish there were more stars I could rate this place! I spent $20.66 I was in love with every sip and bite! The bacon egg and cheese croissant with avocado was 11/10 Lavender dirty Chai 11/10 this is the first place in Utah that has had the best drinks The scone was perfect 11/10 I'd definitely study here if I could

If you're searching for a good coffee and this pops on your search GO FOR IT!!!!! This is a really good coffee. Their coffee specialties are really good; try something different and you'll love it. This place is in a weird location; it's in the basement of the "Axis * building", the first time I saw this place I wasn't sure if it was here or not. It kind of throws you off, but once you open the door you'll see signs, it's pretty easy to get there. Their breakfasts are really good and I can tell they used real eggs, not just the liquid egg that comes in the box.

Seriously I’m exploding with joy over this new location!!! The patio area, the little nook by the curated bookshelf wall and of course the amazing lattes! These gals know how to run a bangin coffee shop for sure. This is definitely their biggest shop and every bit of the interior is creatively decorated. It’s the perfect coffee-and-chill spot. And don’t forget to grab one of the amazing treats from fortythree bakery while you’re there!

This place was amazing. Every single drink that I got was amazing, a little on the sweeter side for me but I ussually dont eat much sugar, but my friend said they were perfect. The bullet coffee and the chai were definitely favorite. The service that Jaden provided, made the whole experience amazing. He was extremely helpful and kind. No only are the drinks really good, but the ambiance and decoration are really amazing as well, you can sit and read a nice book, meet with a friend for a nice chat, or take care of business on your laptop. It has something for everyone. I will definitely be coming back many many times.

Super cute hidden gem cafe in downtown Salt Lake. Amazing drinks and food items as well. Great space to grab a coffee and get some work done!

I came in here aiming to try the coffee, but when I saw they had a special essential oil infused watermelon basil lemonade, that changed my mind real quick. The drunk was delicious, and I also got a Cali Avocado Toast. It was a bit messy to eat, but the flavors were excellent. This will definitely become a regular stop when I'm in town.

Got the Nothing But Mushroom drink with oat milk and a flat white with whole milk. NBM was really good! Had hint of rose flavor and medium sweetness. The flat white was very pretty, my only nit was that it wasn’t my favorite espresso. It was a little harsh at the end of each sip, otherwise the flavor was as expected.

The rustic decor, coupled with the friendly chatter of fellow coffee lovers, creates a cozy ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. It's the kind of place where you can spend hours reading a book or simply watching the world go by.

Great cafe with a unique seating space. I didn't like the "The Bullet" coffee as it was too coconutty for me, I think it was the MCT oil. The breakfast sandwich was really tasty and was served in a Croissant. Also, their Lavender scone was surprisingly delicious.

Had to post for this place because I had the BEST experience. Everything is the highest quality. Everything tastes good. Amazing GF, Keto and Vegan options. The coffee is fantastic. And the energy from the employees/owners is the BEST. I’m visiting and will definitely be back when in town.

Great little spot! I got a flat white, recommended by the barista, and it was excellent. Super smooth, great flavor, and not bitter at all. Wife got a vanilla iced latte and it was also extremely tasty. Not too sweet, just right. Definitely would recommend if you’re in the area.

These two ladies sure know how to run a cool coffee spot! We had a group that ordered coffee and breakfast sandwiches. A long line started to form after us, but everything still came out in a timely order. The ladies were SO welcoming calling everyone “friend”. We are from out of town but we wish we could come daily!

I was really looking forward to checking this place out. When I arrived about an hour ago both employees were without masks. Not only is this in violation of the local public health order, it’s incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Totally insane and unsafe. I won’t be going back until after the pandemic, if at all.

Love this coffee shop, the espresso has a rich, full body flavor and there are a ton of artisan syrup options. This morning I decided to get a Matcha Latte with Honey Rosemary syrup and it was outstanding! The baristas are so kind and atmosphere is so chill. Can’t wait to go back.

The “very” good: Multiple gluten-free options, drinks with YL Oils are awesome! Employees are super sweet, friendly, always smiling and work hard to create a quality service environment. I had The Egg & Cheese on gluten free toast, it was made fresh, cooked to order...and SO good! Guatemala drip coffee was dark with excellent flavor. The seating area is small, but super comfortable. The not-so good: with a long line, service can be slow. From joining the line to receiving food was 55 minutes. The food and drinks were totally worth it, but definitely plan for extra time if the line is long. Drip coffee is from a large container and not made on the spot. Forgot to get me my coffee, had to ask. The line area and order area were very warm, best guess around 76, not unbearable, but could have had more A/C. Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely return for another Egg & Cheese sandwich and coffee!

Good service, good coffee, and good vibes! They were a short walk from my hotel, and I'm so glad a friend suggested them. Can't thank them enough for offering Young Living infused beverages during our 2023 convention!

Only 2 people in line (including us) and service was slow! After waiting 10 minutes. (never saw the person cooking). We left, since we had to catch a flight! Maybe next time.

The second you walk in the door, you are greeted with the most lively staff! My go to drink is black coffee and I have only had cups of consistency since coming here and almost wrote a review based on the coffee alone... But today I tried an Asiago bagel with their unique cream cheeses (ZapPak Cream cheese to be specific) and that has now compelled me to write this review. That bagel and cream cheese combo was a combination everything you would want in a bagel... Now all I can think about is trying all the other unique cream cheeses!

In town for a convention. Never been to Salt Lake City. Tucked in the basement but with a skylight to the street. Nice ambiance and very friendly staff. I got the last Cinnamon toast crunch scone and glad I did! Best scone I have ever had! Great texture and not too crunchy. Also had the Bitter Mocha (?) coffee with a dusting of cinnamon. Also excellent. Much better spot than the mermaid. Go early for lunch - gets busy!

I love coming here, sipping a coffee, eating a pastry and reading my book. It's a very nice environment and the coffee, food, pastries, ambiance and staff are all so wonderful. It's my new go to coffee shop.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. More expensive than anywhere else in the valley, our coffee was awful, burnt not as ordered (how can you screw up drip coffee so badly?!) and they don't have a large size option (what would be a small or medium anywhere else was a large and 2x more expensive). Our breakfast sandwiches were insanely expensive as well and had raw eggs in them. Who makes a breakfast sandwich Sunnyside up? I am so upset by this place I can barely type. Never would I ever go here. Hopefully you don't either. Save yourself a trip and eat shoe leather. It is better than Cupla Coffee

I was taken here for the first time this morning {03•26•22} and I was completely amazed! The atmosphere was amazing, the two employees I interacted with were both very friendly and the drinks were absolutely amazing!

What a cool location!!! It is in a basement. You would miss it if you didn’t know it was there. About 10 signature latte to choose from. I had a snickerdoodle latte for $7 with oat milk. The highlight was the breakfast bagel with bacon and egg. Bacon was crumbled. I can’t wait to return for the pretty scones. Only complaint was the music was crazy loud. Do not expect to hang out or work from this location.

Cute little coffee shop in the basement of a commercial building in downtown SLC. Order at the bar from a large drink or food menu. We had a breakfast sandwich to go, although we were really craving a burrito that they serve at their other locations. Quality was par for the course, would go back in a pinch.

Around the corner from the Hilton where we stayed. Great drip coffee and reasonably priced. I didn't try the food, but customers were eating and looked happy (it was a Saturday morning so not super busy).

This place is so cute! If you’re looking to have a coffee date or just a place to do a little studying or work, this is your place. The people working here are super friendly, the food is delicious, and the coffee is great!

Just a heads up for someone wanting a casual latte….this is a little uptight feeling/atmosphere of a place. Prices were reasonable and butterscotch latte wasn’t overly flavorful but also not bad at all. Staff was friendly seeming. I will likely try them again.

This place is great! They were super busy but had a fairly short wait. The staff I felt like loved their jobs and were pleasant and helpful even though they were busy. The breakfast sandwich I got was good and their cream cheese danish was a nice snack mid morning. The mocha was very delicious!

I have been drinking coffee in Salt Lake for almost a decade at this point and I rarely find myself wanting to leave a review. However, it is now time to review Cupla. This quaint den hidden from the roar of traffic and the thunder of the city's ever present construction situation was exactly the calm and reserve that I needed starting my week. When I happened across the signs on the sidewalk, I felt like I was discovering my new favorite coffee shop all over again. Every step of the way down into the cloistered coffee space made me feel like I could really enjoy my experience drinking a cul of coffee. And boy, how I was right. From the moment I met with the baristas, they took the time to learn my name and introduce the others who employed the space. It wasn't like other coffee shops where you meet just another barista who is taking just another order. I felt like the folks at Cupla were more welcoming than any coffee shop I have ever been a part of. I have to give a shout out to the baristas for making a point to help bring each person after me into a better state than they came in. Learning names, offering food, and even going so far as to learn what brought people in or how their day was going. Really, this was a different kind of experience. So why the 4 stars? Why not 5 stars? Here's why. This was my first time. Giving a 5 star review on a first visit is a bit presumptuous. There were probably things that I wasn't noticing, there were probably things that I didn't like but wasn't concious of, and there were probably parts of my experience that could change if I was in a different mood or on a different day. But I anticipate visiting more than once, and if I absolutely cannot find anything that would detract from my experience, I will happily give a 5 star review. Thank you, Cupla. It feels good to be home.

The place is hidden under a building so entrance is bit hard to find. Friendly staff. I ordered The House Coffee which has some homemade vanilla syrup. The vanilla flavor tastes nice, but it’s hard to get the espresso taste. I’d say it’s a nice place to try but probably won’t come back.

Serviceable espresso. Extremely personable and gregarious staff. Clever little vessel to take my caffeine levels up a notch. Many thanks to the ladies who fire the engines of this hidden gem! My encouragement to those who continue to engage and build their skills.

Not what I expected. My latte was cold. The menu board is hard to see and read. Who wants to look at the menu board all day trying to figure out what's what? I sure don't. My feedback is to get a bigger and descent menu board. The barista was friendly Though.

"37 years now an avid coffee fan". Cupla's Espresso and fresh drip single origin is among the best I've ever had! Only to be matched by their fun and freindly staff is a tempting assortment of vegan, keto & traditional in-house baked goods which always keep me excited and stomach growling for my next visit!

Great iced coffees. The barista was one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever met. They had a variety of different milk options ( soy, almond, coconut) and really cool lattes to choose from. They use straws made out of agave too so they care about our planet!
