Growing up as a kid, I was fortunate to spend many evenings with my family exploring a variety of restaurants throughout the area. I can remember scanning the menu for the “good stuff” like shrimp dinners so I could brag to my friends that I just ate like a king. At times, I could feel the glare from across the table for always ordering from “that side of the menu”, I think that's where I learned to finish every bite. Heading into Just Shrimp brings back memories of ordering the “good stuff”. Father and daughter team, John and Christina Mihalos, have brought a strong passion for excellence to Tinley Park by offering their customers a variety of the best quality shrimp, sandwiches, and meals to choose from. Over the last 6 years, Just Shrimp has maintained a strong focus on the homemade preparation of much their menu and it's rewarded them with much popularity and a loyal following of happy customers. Being a big shrimp fan myself, Just Shrimp sits at the top of the list when it comes to finding the best order of jumbo fried shrimp around. Not only are their shrimp gigantic in size but they are a premium wild-caught shrimp which are peeled, deveined, and breaded in-house. Just Shrimp offers their jumbo fried shrimp by the pound as well as the option of selecting a Shrimp Pack of 4,6,10,25,35,50 or 100 pieces, which includes fries and coleslaw. It’s no surprise that they go through approximately 11,000 shrimp a week. While their jumbo-fried shrimp are perfection straight from the fryer, I also appreciate the selection of dipping sauces. Hot, buffalo, spicy, mild, tartar, cocktail, and BBQ are the choices of sauces to choose from and each one is its own world of flavor. A popular sandwich choice by customers and one of my personal favorites at Just Shrimp is the Lobster Po’ Boy. There’s no question why this sandwich is a crowd favorite, it’s fresh lobster in a sandwich! John, Christina, and their staff take great pride in preparing their lobster creations with fresh Maine Lobster delivered live to their restaurant. The Po'Boy comes with a hefty serving of fresh fried lobster over lettuce, tomato, and a spread of a homemade spicy sauce on a French roll. This is one of those types of sandwiches that I regret not ordering a second one, they’re that good! I’m eager for my next visit to Just Shrimp in hopes to keep chipping away at their menu and try their Salmon Steak Sandwich and Louisiana Shrimp Boil.

What can I say it was a lobster poor boy.... Bread was fresh and soft, lobster was deep-fried perfectly. Sauce with spicy but not over spicy. Just might taste could have used a little bit more sauce and or male but it was a really good sandwich. The same for the lobster roll. Could have used a little bit more Mayo but it was also a really good sandwich. Servers were really nice. Restaurant was clean. Pepsi was cold.

Big portions, not greasy at all, amazing flavor, BIG Shrimps! Po boy was delicious!! I totally recommend it.

We went to this location to try their shrimp roll which we would be catering for our wedding. Very high quality shrimp, crispy but soft bread and it was fresh. Honestly took us back to Maine! Recommended

Cute little storefront restaurant with a great selection of food. I had the Alligator Po' boy Sandwich and it was delicious. Served with a side of perfect coleslaw and perfectly cooked french fries. Nothing fancy but all very well done and delicious. Fried alligator had a nice spice to it and was delicious. Really was a perfect seafood sandwich... Although I get some not sure if you consider alligator 'seafood' or some other category.

I ended up getting the 10 pc shrimp pack. The shrimp were extremely crispy and juicy. The dipping sauces were very tasty. The barbecue sort of made the shrimp taste like chicken. There mild sauce is fantastic as well. The coleslaw was probably the best part of the meal: sweet, not bitter, and super creamy. It was almost like dessert. The 10 pc is a lot of food. I barely even finished it. It seemed to fill me up perfectly. Fantastic service, will definitely be back again!

With limited options for picking up seafood without long wait times I decided to give this place another try. I order the fried shrimp which I must say why quite delicious. I'd consider revisiting this establishment for another order. However the lobster bisque was horrendous. The color was off, it was waaaaay to spicy, and had thick clumps in it like it was very old and be sitting too long. I was very disgusted with it I couldn't eat it.

Fast service for sure, but before you step in line be sure of what you want, the lady that runs the register is fast and doesn't seem like she likes to wait on undecided people. Overall very satisfied with how fast the food was made and the taste of the food was on point. Lobster roll is great here, the bun was nice and toasted and not greasy or soggy like other places, perfect amount in the sandwich to leave you satisfied. Shrimp basket, they are jumbo shrimp, and not greasy, batter was cooked just right, came out nice and golden. You got yourself some returning customers!

Idk what I ate but it was not 100% fresh lobster in my lobster roll…it had to be imitation meat because Me and my boyfriend are lobster and shrimp LOVERS and we know lobster when we taste it. I don’t think it’s fair not to disclose that you’re using imitation lobster meat to your customers. I’m not one to bash a business but I am one to let the public know. Please fix this it’s not fair we spent a lot of money, which is fine as long as it’s FRESH real lobster and crab. Please do better.

Me and my daughter walked into the restaurant and was looking at the menu trying to decide on what to order. The tall male Hispanic cashier was very rude staring at me and said what do you want to order in a unruly voice to us. I asked can we please have a few minutes to review the menu. He seem to have an attitude and just walked away. We proceed to order and he again looked frustrated, short talked us, tapping his hands on the counter rushing us to order. We sat down waiting for our order. We ordered meals and the cashier did not put the coleslaw in our bag. I send my daughter to the counter to ask for it. The same tall Hispanic male stared at us, looked at the table and only gave us one and not two. I was so uncomfortable with the way he treated us. I didn't finish my meal and we walked out. There was other customers whom came in after us and he greeted them and treated them with respect. I will never come back there or send anybody I know. I deserve better treatment and respect. That's not how you treat a mother and child. This happen Wednesday August 24, 2022 around dinner time.

Contrary to its name, this place has more than shrimp. That said, I had a ten piece with large fried shrimp, plenty of fries, and two coleslaw cups with a choice of sauce (I had Buffalo sauce). My dining companion had fried gator with fries and coleslaw. We were both pleased with our meals: quickly served, hot, plentiful, and reasonably tasty. The employees were all friendly and easy to work with. The place is nothing fancy but I was glad to have a hot meal that was filling at a good price.

I went to Just Shrimp and decided to try something other than shrimp. They now serve alfredo pasta which you can add shrimp or salmon. I tried the salmon and was very disappointed. The salmon was dry and it was the size of chicken nuggets. I will from now on stick to the shrimps since I know they are good.

First time at this location and baby they got the best shrimp and catfish sandwich ever .if looking for real shrimp freshly battered (cuz I saw it) then go here’s owner is very honest and know his sea food… I barely leave reviews but baby this food too good I have to share

This guy John Mihalos is totally rude. We ordered our food and my wife asked for hot sauce. Once we got to the car she noticed she was given cocktail sauce. No biggie... I went back in to get the hot sauce and this guy tells me that's what she said.... cocktail sauce. I told him, no I'm pretty sure she said hot sauce. So he had the audacity to say it again to me about my wife... "no she said cocktail". I told him "I've been married 25 years, and my wife doesn't even eat cocktail sauce". I'm pretty sure I should know that... On top of the fact I heard what she asked you for. Why not just pass me a cup of hot sauce without the correction attempt??? We spend our money with you and for you to act like that about one 10 cent cup of sauce for a paying customer is totally ridiculous. So keep your 10 cent cocktail and hot sauce, we won't eat there ever again. Word of advice, don't challenge a person about their spouse.... the next person may not be as passive about it.

5 dollars more to use a credit card is a ripoff and a way to deter credit card usage at time of payment and encourage customers to use cash. It's a manipulation tactic that should be illegal. I bet they're not reporting all the cash income to the IRS. Food was bland and overpriced

Got a 6 piece shrimp meal and the shrimp and fries were very good. I also had okra, but didn't like the breading on that. To each their own though

I love the shrimp roll here! The New England bun is toasted perfectly and the tarragon mayo is tasty. The staff is so friendly, too. My husband gets the salmon and enjoys that. I just wish they had fountain soda.

Shrimp.have always been good. I just wish for those of us that don't like a lot of breading could have an option of ordering a pound of shrimp with light or no breading; sautéed would be nice. Otherwise, it's a place to go for shrimp.

Got cat fish. Tasted fishy and the breading was terrible. I threw it out. My daughter got the fish + crab boil, something like that. She didn't eat it. Crab and shrimp bites weren't bad. I won't go back

I went there cause the reviews was good but the food was HORRIBLE! I specifically came for the lobster roll that I seen many people say was they “best dish” I’ve had better at regular sea food boil spots. And the fried oysters tasted like water and bread literally couldn’t even taste an oyster. I dont recommend this place at all! 🤮

Disappointed, they said it was jumbo shrimp but they were just medium, 4 shrimp with a small piece of sausage for almost $12, not worth it, and it really wasn't that good, shrimp were very hard to peel. So that's almost $3 of shrimp, I can buy a giant bag of shrimp for 20 bucks and I'll make my own, and they're buying the shrimp wholesale so think of the markup

The fried shrimp are a very good size and tastes really well in the light batter. It's $15.99 for 10 shrimp, fries, coleslaw and a drink. It used to be $14.99 last year but that's inflation for you..
