I only give it a 3 becuz the lady who worked that night was really cool. She said she started managing the place just recently. She was courteous, friendly, and easy-going. I'm coming back in town soon and I'll stay again. If it wasn't for her... it'd get 1 star or zero.. and yeah they got egg-water... but oh well, I grew up in the country; we had egg-water too and I'm not dead yet. Lolol..

Worst motel I have ever been to. Management & owner watches your every move on the cameras and comes into your rooms while your gone even when you tell them not to. The owner is not nice and has crazy Nazi rules, like you can't be out on the deck after 10pm and you can't speak to any of the people staying in the other rooms. They have well water that smells horrible and are over priced. Do not go here. This place needs to be bought out and rebuilt with different management and owner.

The management is great, they make you feel at home. Anything you need, it was never a problem. Rooms are clean, quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again. Pam is the best, very professional.

As soon as I said "service animal" she cut me off and said pets are not allowed of any kind. FYI, service animals are NOT legally defined as pets. They are SERVICE ANIMALS. But apparently they'd rather discriminate and be argumentative telling me it is not allowed. I guess they are above federal law. Just spend the $80 and go to the Quality Inn, that's where I plan on going. So, if you're disabled or handicapped or a veteran with a TRAINED service dog, don't bother calling this place. They are not very smart when it comes to the law. Does not look like the nicest place anyway, not sure how they get off charging $80.

The owner was a bit creepy and he was washing his car in the parking lot when we came there. It wasn't bad, defiantly affordable but the walls were thin and the air conditioner in our room was broken. I mean it was nice for a couple of hours with my love but I wouldn't stay there over night.

So, this is where my parents lived when I was born. I just searched for it. It's interesting to see it's still up. I wonder if the original owner is alive. 1984

A diamond in the rough, cost effective rates, close to shopping, restaurants within walking distance. Great management makes you feel at home and treats you like family. Had a great time. Some of my fondest moments over the past year were with friends at the Vista Motel. Whether, your looking for overnight or longer stay the Vista will meet your needs. Very attentive and caring to all the guests. Peaceful and Quite like being out in a country setting.

Dave and Pam were great. Just really good down to earth people. I stayed for a week while there on business and I feel like family. It's a 60's Era road motel, and it just felt right. I had a great stay, and it was VERY reasonable $$! They truly blessed my trip.

To Brianna: I would like to respond to the actual events of the phone conversation. By the way my coworker also heard the conversation. You called the Motel and asked if we took pets. I said no we do not take pets. You then asked me if we take service animals I said yes. not sure if you heard me, say Yes service dogs are Allowed. You then asked me if we take emotional support animals I said no, they fall under the no pet policy. You then became hostile and argumentative with me. Saying we had to take emotional support animals and service dogs and that I don't know the law and that I was discriminating against a Veteran. Emotional support animals are not covered under the ADA, only a service dog is Allowed. Emotional Support Animals are not covered under the ADA when it comes to a hotel/ motel or any other public facility that Do Not allow pets. We also do not fall under the Fair housing act because we are a Motel. We do not discriminate against veterans either. I have many veterans that have stayed here, as well as my own family who served our country. So please don't say we discriminate. We do not. You had asked what we charged. Our overnight rate is $80.00 a night (included Tax) which is average. I also asked you the dates you needed the room, the room was available to you and your Service Dog. Just not emotional support animals. You told me never mind you were going somewhere else. You should also never Assume that someone else doesn't know the laws pertaining to the American Disability Act and the laws pertaining to service animals' vs ESA. I'm very well versed in them both. Maybe you should ask yourself this question “Is the person I’m speaking with also Handicapped or do they live with someone who is handicapped?” because you never know someone else’s situation. Thought you should know before you make an accusation about prejudice and discrimination against a person or business. It was your choice where you chose to stay. Have a blessed day.

The people who work here or own the place are crazy! It’s coming to the holidays and people are in town. I went there to visit my friends while they were in town but couldn’t remember the room number so I parked out of the way to look at my phone. All of a sudden some blonde woman storms out to my car looking all disheveled and crazy yelling at me! “Can I help you? I explained why I was there and she acting like I was breaking the law by being there. Still yelling something about visitors and not being welcome there. So, after she stormed off, I called my friends and told them to meet me at the McDonald’s. She’s weird
