The front desk woman was very sweet and accommodating when I called in the morning to see if I could check in earlier than 3. She called me back when my room was available and she got me checked in quickly. Bonus points for the two dogs hanging out behind the desk. Very cute! And I super appreciate whomever cleaned my room as well. I hope I didn't rush them. They did such a great job and the place was spotless! I will definitely be back again if I'm ever in the area! Thank you to all the people that work at the Bucksport Inn for making my last night of vacation easy and comfortable!!!

A stay that was short and sweet! My sister and I stayed for one night and felt so comfortable. The rooms were clean, the staff was kind and the shower was amazing. We will 110% return if we are ever back in Bucksport :)

Walking distance to the restaurants in town. Being a bit away from the road makes for very calm rooms. The rooms are also very clean et well furnished. Personnel is helpful and easy to find at every hours of the day.

Just stayed at this place. Loved it!! Very clean, quiet and the beds were awesome!! Highly recommend.

Got there late. Staff was rude and unaccommodating. Had trouble with card. Got harassed every 5 minutes until it got straightened out. Had anxiety whole time from being constantly called. Very very rude.

Was a lovely place. The most comfortable bed we had all vacation. The staff were very nice. The rooms were clean and cozy.

Great locally owned motel. Very clean, with happy employees, and the bonus is the multiple fire pits in very well manicured grounds. We were warmly welcomed and they were kind when we needed to leave a day early (and the price adjusted). About an hour drive to Acadia NP, 20 minutes to Ellsworth. I guess the biggest downside is that most restaurants nearby are closed Mon, Tues & Wed. During off season. The next closest big town is Bangor which is a dark 30 minutes away. Our room was bigger than most hotels with microwave, small fridge & single serve coffee. Ask for a room in back to be away from RT1 traffic. We did walk just under a mile to a local restaurant “Glenn’s Place” where people were friendly and food was good. We would definitely stay again.

Such a great stay here. Staff really friendly and helpful. Room was perfect, everything I needed for 2 really good nights sleep. Super clean. Great shower. Fantastic location close to Penobscott Narrows bridge and Fort Knox, and an hour drive to Acadia National Park. Dunkin donuts next door for perfect wake up coffee and breakfast muffin!

Such a cute, cozy, inviting, wonderful place to stay. Visited from Phoenix, Az and was treated with kindness and a welcoming staff. I am already thinking about my trip next year and would not think of staying anywhere else. Great location as well!

This was such a lovely hotel! every one was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were warm and clean (though slightly dated, but what do you expect) and they even have really cute fire pits in the back that were great to curl up next to after a long day hiking. 10/10 would recommend

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean, probably the cleanest we have ever been in. We usually stay in a chain hotel but we wanted to be outside of Bangor as it is cheaper. We definitely recommend 10/10.
