Fine dining and amazing atmosphere at its highest level! RV is truly an Ormond Beach gem. The only thing that rivals the fantastic food is the setting. Located in a historic home with period decorations this is very entertaining place to eat. The dining rooms are intimate and each with its own unique feel. The menus is broad and every meal at our table outstanding. The whisky bar is super cool and has a mega variety of offerings. The service was fast and professional and it’s located in a lovely part of town. It’s truly a blessing to have a business like this in our little beach town!

Never disappointed! Our bartender Rob is so kind, funny and makes a great Martini! Food is always consistently delicious! Chicken dinner and biscuits are the best I’ve ever had! Fried green tomatoes with lobster…. Yes lobster! Yum!! Jambalaya has just the right amount of spice. 💜

We had the most amazing lunch outside in the gazebo. We started with deliciously spicy bloody Mary’s, Deviled eggs, and fried green tomatoes. For lunch we enjoyed a Cuban, fish tacos, and the most amazing burger. Excellent service as always. I’ve always loved rose villa and will definitely be back!

Everything was amazing 🤩 this is definitely the finest of dining. The drinks were good and so was the food. I personally had the salmon and it was exquisite. Also wanted to give a very huge shout-out to our server Chrissy! She was super amazing and very attentive and friendly. Overall a beautiful time and would definitely come again ❤️💕👍

This place is an amazing spot for unbelievable food especially if you like southern flavors. I had the shrimp and grits my wife had the fried chicken, both were amazing. I never had shrimp and grits and I loved it. We had Josh for our waiter and he was great. Definitely will go back

Great food! We tried the fried chicken, collard greens, and mash potatoes (mash was great tasting). We also tried the Rose Villa Burger with a fried green tomato, goat cheese, and pepper jam, which was yummy, especially with that melty goat cheese. We also tried the deviled eggs appetizer which was also delicious. They brought out biscuits with honey butter...what's not to like! We were too full to try dessert, but the options sounded incredible. We will have to go back and try other things and save room for dessert next time.

My husband & I love to go out to eat. Posts on this page have inspired us to keep our dining-adventures fun at high-quality, great places! Last night, we enjoyed the best meal at Rose Villa Southern Table & Bar. Our first time, there. We didn’t anticipate the bill being close to $300. However, it was worth every cent. No regrets. We ordered the Caesar w/ brussels & crab cake for appetizers. The salad was unexpectedly served warm. It was amazing! We each ordered Surf & Turf entrees. I had Risotto; he had mashed potatoes for sides. They were both so good. I’ll say the mashed potatoes were exceptional. We ordered dessert to-go. Berry cobbler, which I ate later, was the best I’ve ever had. The Peach is still in fridge. I ate my steak & risotto leftovers for lunch today. Honestly, just as yummy as last night! Craft cocktails made with care. The Blueberry Lemontini - highly recommend! We’ll add it to our go-to for special occasions. We need to go back & try the Fried Chicken, which is apparently wonderful. If I had to make a suggestion, I’d add music to the experience. We ate in main dining. There is an upstairs & outside seating that we’re curious to check out. 🍽️💯💕

Such a unique and cultural dinning experience. The inside of the home/restaurant takes you back to the past when life was simplistic. The decor is well maintained and adds to the great cultural experience you will have. The food is totally amazing and guaranteed to exceed your expectations. I loved this experience and I am sure that you will as well!!!

First time at this beyond awesome restaurant. Teresa was our Server, and she exceeded all of my expectations. It has been a long time since we have felt so welcomed. She started out with some of the incredible history of the building and made us feel right at home. I recommend the fried chicken as it was cooked to perfection. For dessert, the berry cobbler with ice cream is now my all time favorite! Great job, Rose Villa! Can't wait to visit again!!!

I just Love this place! The food matches the atmosphere! Simply lovely! You can dine on the front porch, throughout the home and in the Gazebo out back. Anywhere you sit, you will leave feeling happy and full. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Full bar! Valet parking is available. The beautiful Victorian home is an icon here in Ormond Beach. You really don’t want to miss this place when visiting. I had to taste everyone’s food and every bite was tasty!

Great staff, quite a gem of a place. Authentic decor and well maintained. Good selection of food and drinks on the menu. Management and the staff did a great job of making you feel welcome. The food was good, not amazing considering the price. But all in all the ambience and staff made it worth while. I would highly recommend s visit if your in the area. Some great history to this place.

10 stars. There’s a reason for all the great reviews. This restaurant is a big house from a different era converted into a high end restaurant. I’m not going to blab blab lab. Pick anything on the menu and you will be extremely happy. Reasonable prices great service and a really cool place to eat. We had salads, Shrimp, Lobster Mac and cheese and blueberry martinis with a blueberry ice ball that was spiked. First time in but we will be a regular. Ormand definitely has an amazing restaurant scene going on. Highly recommended

Great experience! Fried chicken was fantastic and we brought 1/2 chicken home! Drinks were delicious. I loved Rose Villa historical building, great attention to details. The stained glass was spectacular. All the staff was outstanding. The sweet hostess even offered to take our picture in front of the Gingerbread Fantasy decorations, so sweet I rarely give 5 stars but this place earned it.

What a gem in Ormond Beach! I opted to sit out on the front porch…you will be serenaded by big pipes on vehicles passing by. My server Quinn was awesome…he took excellent care of me and made sure I enjoyed my time here. Opted for a Wedge Salad and the Lobster Mac & Cheese…this is a solid meal! The wedge was great and hit all of the points of freshness and flavors. The Mac & Cheese…WOW. Incredibly creamy and rich but not overpowering to the flavors of the lobster. One of the best I’ve had in a very long time! This is a wonderful place and can’t wait till I visit the area again to dine here!

*NOTE: The restaurant closes in the afternoons between "brunch" and "supper" on the weekends, this is not well published. They also stop seating an hour prior to closing in the evenings. Have heard so many great things about this restaurant and wanted to try it, and finally had the chance. Arrived around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday and found it closed, as apparently as mentioned above, they close between "brunch" and "supper," but glad we decided to wait. We were seated as soon as they opened for "supper," and the food and service were OUTSTANDING, definitely try the chicken, and the biscuits were delightful as well. Dessert (cheesecake) was also amazing as well, and would love to have tried more on their menu. Our server was John and he was fantastic and did the best job taking care of us, the bartender (I *think* his name was Josh, but not completely sure) was also great as we waited. Also note that their prices for dinner are a little steep, but you do get what you pay for when it comes to the quality and service. The operating hours should be better noted online and on their socials for first timers though, as I did not see those on their website or socials that morning. Not the biggest deal we had to wait for them to "open," but still kind of a damper on an otherwise great experience. I really wish I could give five stars, but communication is key, and and establishment as big as this one has grown to be should be able to do it effectively.

Waiting extra for the front porch was a great decision. The vibe and the breeze are perfection. The honey butter that came with the biscuits is something I will be thinking about for a long time after I’ve left Florida. Chicken was perfectly crispy juicy dreamy & the waffles have a delightful touch of vanilla. The Cesar brussel sprouts should be on your list if you like it’s namesake. There was a fig & lavender honey bread appetizer that blew our minds. My friend didn’t know she liked mashed potatoes until she tried these. Our love for mac&cheese although familiar was more than renewed on the porch that night. Their Shirley temples come with Luxardo cherries - and our waitress was happy to give us extra when we asked. She was lovely, as was the bartender, our hostess, and the host in training. Stop by the bathroom regardless of if you need to use it or not - it’s gorgeous in there.

Would come back in a jiffy! Everything we ordered was delicious. Would recommend. We agreed to try different dishes next time. We split the deviled eggs and fried chicken. Staff was helpful and friendly.

This restaurant was a historical hotel that has been tastefully turned into a fantastic restaurant. You pull up, and you are met by valet. The building looks great from the outside, as well as inside. Staff is friendly and professional. The dining area is decorated with historic paintings of people that contributed to the Daytona area. Great drink and food menu. With traditional dishes that are unique to the area. Appetizers were fantastic. Everyone's main dish was very good. The Kobe beef hamburger, seafood, and fried chicken were outstanding, as well as all of the sides. Overall, it was a great experience.

Went to celebrate a birthday. Can’t believe I’ve never dined here before. Atmosphere, service and food were phenomenal. Cassandra was kind, attentive and very personable. Highly recommend eating on the front porch on a fall evening. It was perfect. The zinnia garden is gorgeous too!

Beautiful place with a warm ambiance. The food was out of sight as was the service. Colin was fantastic We had the Asian deviled eggs which were a special item. The flavors of the dish were amazing. Our entrees were excellent. The chicken and waffles was done to perfection. Upstairs is a beautiful quaint little bar that has a huge selection of bourbons. The lovely bartender was so knowledgeable, warm and friendly. This place is a true gem.

We were delighted with our food. Very great tasting Southern Fried Chicken. The sides were Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes with gravy and Collard Greens. Homemade Biscuits with Sweet Butter. Everything was delicious. The ambitious was decorated with the era as the house used to belong to John Rockefeller. Children were in one of the parties seated just prior to us finishing. Definitely recommend. Reservations recommended for busy times.

Service was awesome, Johnathon was great and house is beautiful! The food however was mixed, Fried Green tomatoes starter was amazing! Bouillabaisse was meh.. and the Atlantic Salmon was okay. Triple Berry Cobbler was good. We spent a little over $100 for two people, so I would of liked more consistent quality in food, but the overall experience was nice.

The food and the service was exceptional. The owner greeted us at the door and open the door for us. Everyone makes you feel important to them. They check on you regularly to make sure you are having the best experience possible. We saw the owner walking around and checking on other tables to make sure everything was OK. Highly recommended…

The ambiance is amazingly beautiful! Some of the staff gave a weird vibe (perhaps because we were the only minorities that I saw). Nevertheless, our server JACKSON was phenomenal!!! The food was delicious, especially the soup of the day...zucchini blue cheese. Sounds strange but it's absolutely wonderful.

Always such a wonderful meal. The pork belly on the deviled eggs is delicious! The belly and biscuits is probably my most favorite. And what person doesn’t love the BEST chicken and waffles ever? I frequent about twice a month. Collin is my favorite waiter.

Rose Villa Atmosphere: Southern charm home as a restaurant. Food: Shrimp and Grits: We mentioned to our server that we'd like to share this dish as a meal… they brought it out on two separate plates!!! Awesome and thoughtful gesture. The dish itself was too busy with condiments for it to be a classic dish. The garlic chutney was a great addition. Overall a very good and flavorful dish. Pork Belly and Biscuits: Amazing balance of flavors. I think that the pork gets lost in the mix. I would prefer it to be the star of it, but my partner thought it was "da bomb!" Lobster Mac and Cheese Very fresh tasting and just a good dish overall. Service: Amazing. Timely, courteous, and thoughtful. We waited for like 5 minutes before our appetizers came out. Then for the shared meal it must have come out like 3minutes after we finished our appetizers. Very happy with the service. Final thoughts: We chose to sit outside even though it was a bit cold because inside was double booked and we did not have a reservation. We weren't prepared for the cold temperature but it is great venue.

We made a dinner reservation for our anniversary and they seated us outside in a crowded little gazebo so it wasn’t really the romantic atmosphere I had hoped for. I didn’t really get to see any of the inside and was disappointed by that too. I got the blueberry lemontini, deviled eggs, sea bass, and goat cheese grits. It was all delicious, including the burger my husband got. Our server, Shelby, was so wonderful but I was disappointed the hostess did not ask about sitting inside verses outside.

Rose Villa redeemed itself. We gave them a second chance after a very disappointing first visit for an evening out. This visit was vastly improved. Our wait staff was great. Escargot was OK, do prefer the traditional butter presentation over fried. The chicken and waffles were good, excellent waffles. The lamb was perfect. Would have enjoyed more aspartame less potatoes but they were good.
