This
place
is
currently
called
"Developer
Inn"
but
I
don't
know
if
that's
its
prior
name
or
new
name.
Several
features
indicate
that
it's
a
Days
Inn,
while
others
indicate
Developer
Inn.
At
any
rate,
I
did
not
appreciate
the
hotel
model,
service,
or
amenities
at
this
establishment.
It
seems
that
the
property
has
recently
changed
hands,
and
they
are
repairing
or
renovating
parts
of
it.
It's
a
dated
property,
so
kudos
to
them
for
trying
to
improve
it.
As
such,
my
$60-$70
dollar
one-night
stay
offered
the
simplicity
and
bare-bones
amenities
I
expected
for
the
price.
But
this
place
has
the
gall
to
charge
a
nightly
$4
resort
fee;
it's
NOT
a
resort...not
in
any
universe
is
this
a
resort!
Then
they
did
a
$100
authorization
hold
for
"incidentals",
but
there's
zero
chance
of
incidental
purchases
because
the
property
offers
no
services.
No
restaurant,
no
bar,
no
snack
shop,
no
breakfast,
no
vending
machines,
no
valet,
no
towel
service,
and
no
obvious
elevators
for
their
4-story
exterior
corridor
property.
There
was
just
a
room,
with
1990s
carpet,
furniture,
and
a
bed.
The
room
was
clean
and
worth
what
I
paid
for
it,
but
the
staff
needs
some
coaching
on
how
to
discuss
the
property's
policies
and
features.
Limited
service
properties
shouldn't
have
"resort
fees".
And
properties
with
zero
services
or
amenities
should
make
modest
credit
card
authorizations.
As
a
consumer,
I
hate
being
"nickled
and
dimed"
by
merchants,
and
I
despise
deceptive
and
subversive
business
practices.
Every
cost
should
have
a
clear
and
easily
explicable
justification.
