This is the WORST place you can ever go to. DO NOT go, they treat you like garbage no remorse or not even patient at all. I was talking on the phone with someone admitted there and they were calling her a "liar" that no one wanted to talk to her and that if she didn't stop crying they would call the cops who does that? They are so rude his name was Miguel do not associate with this person because he will threaten you.

Do not trust this organization. They try to make you email your DD214, birth certificate and social security card which nobody should ever do. Then they place you in a motel that literal clumps of dirt fly from the AC, the sink was cracked and the social workers are useless. Judy Morales and Francis don’t care about veterans at all. They made me, a veteran with a disability, walk 2.5 miles to snail mail my DD 214 which was faxed initially at my cost and Judy could have just came to my door. I’d rather live in a tent than deal with this blatant ignorance.

As a British citizen I was in SHOCK when I was thrown into this place while being on holiday. Never have I EVER in my life experienced such hell. Are all American units like this!? God I hope not. The uk psychiatric wards are like the ritz compared to this!? First I was forced to stay in a room with a woman with severe Schizophrenia who was shouting and swearing she wanted to kill me and generally just scaring the living daylights out of me I had a mattress no pillow, cover or douvet and it was DISGUSTING. When awaking after well no sleep we were all forced into one room- men and women and locked out of our rooms completely. There was one tv on for us all to watch. No other sort of entertainment or anything that I could think that would help someone struggling- music/books/art/yoga/mindfulness etc. I was in some sort of prisoners uniform. We were fed burgers for breakfast and lunch that I couldn’t even think about eating. Staff were loud and verbally abusive. I have never been so terrified of anywhere in my life. So many people who shouldn’t have been locked in there mixed with well the clinically insane. I heard constant screams from another floor and was told people were chained to walls up there. Jesus I would rather DIE then ever step foot in there again. I waited what seemed a lifetime to speak to anyone and thank god thank god they realised I really shouldn’t have been there when they eventually discharged me. Having not even been there 24 hours I thank god for getting me out of there. There is no way in HELL this place would allowed to be open in the uk. And god I felt sorry for all those people cooped up In there with nothing but empty walls to stare at. This place is just wrong- so wrong. I feel like suing the place for the trauma it caused i stil have nightmares about it years later.

I was there a year ago, yes it was horrible. I still remember how the staff yelled at people who could have schizophrenia, and even start physical fights with them. No joke. I was so scared that i asked to sleep away from the most unstable person that was there and they took it as if I was making a big deal out of it. Swear those 3 days where hell in earth and if you think you're doing your loved one a favor by sending them there, promise you're just creating them a PTSD, so don't and search for somewhere else

While I was there, I took notes in crayon of my experience. I was taken there because of a misunderstanding, but they couldn’t let me leave until I saw a doctor. I was taken in Monday night and told a doctor would see me by noon on Tuesday. The doctor never showed up and they kept saying “he’s coming”. I was a relatively “normal” person trapped in a facility with very mentally unwell people, forced to sleep on a mattress on the dirty floor, and treated like a criminal. They strip away all your dignity and leave you a shell of yourselves.

Sadly, it’s been a horrible place for years. I was there 15 years ago when it was called Lakeside. As someone who has dealt with mental health issues since I was a kid, go to Central Florida Behavioral. By Sea World. It’s a better environment and the food is A+. I really hope they stop recommending this place and shut it down.

This facility is a joke. If your going to work for the health field, you should Love what you do an care for the people who you're taking care of because they depend on you for accurate treatment .You took an oath to work ethically an morally for the public. If you can't be empathetic the medical field is NOT your place!

I haven't had any major issue with this facility in particular. But Florida as a whole is a terrible piece to need need help of anykind. This detox facility seems to have beds more often than not. Most staff are polite and willing to help. I'm omw back there now. Please pray for me. I'm trying to get my life, my hapiness, and my family back.

Aspire Health Partners on Mercy Dr, if you need assistance find another facility. They have bunch of idiots working their, especially scheduling department. The doctors are worse can't speak proper English! The staff uneducated. Guess they hire people from off the street! PLEASE DON'T GO THEIR!

This place was a nightmare. It looked like a jail with the barbed wire fence on the porch. The staff was mean to the patients. I asked for blankets because I was cold and the staff member said “too bad” your not getting a blanket.

If you're thinking of ending your life, do it before admitting yourself to this hell. First they kept telling me "welcome back" which I odd because I've never been there, then I tell them I have the flu, I'm told that is okay as long as it isn't covid. We'll that was a lie.. they then stripped me of all my belongings then sent me to a hospital with a fever, and sweats that they would not let me take off to cool down, and they replaced my boots w the fabric shoe covers that doctors wear. The hospital released me and I had to walk and bus w no shoes or my phones... to get back to my belongings where they had lost my clothes for 2 hours. They pretty much say if you're suicidal and have the flu, then youre on your own because we rather you die than people start coughing... which is unfathomable because there's a shelter in sanford on 13th street that kept me 3 weeks passed my exit date because I had covid. They simply don't give damn. Go to central florida behavioral... they are soooo much nicer and actually seem to enjoy their job and care about you.

My name is Edmond Leidesdorf. Our daughter was taken to this facility. It’s the absolute worst of the worst. We called repeatedly, left a few messages when able to, and no one would call back. Other times when we spoke to someone they hung up on us or passed us off to a recording. They discharged her without telling us. We don’t live nearby. Our daughter has no money, no place to live, no phone, nothing. Do NOT go to this facility!!!!

Scheduling is a bit tough to get done in this facility, but once things are straightened out it's alright. Reception staff are nice, but the assistants are not. They carry themselves in a way where it seems like they don't like their jobs or interacting with people. As for my psych provider, she is a beautiful soul and wonderful to interact with. She truly took the time to listen to my feedback regarding my progress, as well as set up a timeline for my treatment. I am very pleased with the provider I was assigned to. I look forward to my appts with her.

Actually listen to everyone else. This place is TERRIBLE. My brother has been in this hospital 3 times and all those 3 times he has never been treated properly a single time. They even released him even though he has not been treated all the way. What kind of place does this? Honestly shouldn’t even exist. Bad is such an understatement.

Go anywhere else. This place is horrible. They cancel your appointments last minute, 1 hour before, and then want to reschedule for a month after. They are a joke and should be shut down. Save time and mental health by going somewhere else.
