I've been to Ned's several times, and never been disappointed. We visited on Friday evening a couple of weeks ago. Even though it was crowded, the service was still fast, attentive and friendly. The food, as always, was EXCELLENT. I had the Shrimp & Grits at the recommendation of our server, and it DID NOT disappoint. The gravy was remarkable; definitely had depth of flavor. It's now on my list of favorites around St. Augustine. We will definitely be back!

Yummy food. Got Chicken Parmagiana, South Dixie Chicken (fave), Palm Valley Fish n Grits, and Fried Shrimp (fave). All the dishes were really good. Big helpings/servings. Service was awesome.

This place is SOOOO Good. Thats all we kept saying last night at the table. There was 7 of us and we all loved what we ordered. There is so many things to choose from and we will definitely be back. The service was great and everyone was so nice & helpful. I didn't get a pic of everyone's plate but you can tell everything is freshly made.

OMG Ned's is our new night out family style eatery this place was awesome amazing people clean fast service I would recommend you eat here. Side note the only thing I would change is I wish they had fried mushrooms and New England clam chowder but nobody is perfect.

Party of 6 had about a 20 min wait in on a Monday night. The place was busy but the food came out fairly quick. The nachos weren’t great, kind of a pile of stuff with not many chips. The capris salad and shrimp and grits were good. The salads were ok from what I was told.

Where to start! Warm welcome soon as we walked in which was too long of a wait. They have a great food selection and the taste is fabulous! I personally had the pork chop dinner and it was a true southern dream and tasted amazing and highly recommend! It was impressive to see how involved the manager was with helping his staff and checking on the customers.

This is a cute old fashion down home cooking establishment with a good cook and recipes. The Southwestern Chicken soup was outstanding, as was my main dish of shrimp and grits. The service is quick, and everything was accurate. We were allowed to stay for a couple of hours as we fellowshiped. Refills and orders were given at our own pace, not theirs. Make sure you tip well if you get good service. We tried the Boston Cream Cake, Raspberry cake, and Peanut Butter and Chocolate cakes. All were good, but my favorite was the Boston Creme. The raspberry cake was a tad dry, but the raspberry and icing made up for it. The interior appears clean, as was the bathroom. Parking may be limited, but search the area. Just don't park in the business parking lot next door. I recommend Ned's for a welcome retreat from the usual commercial junk.

Good food. Their shrimp and grits recipe had changed. There was less of a smoky ham flavour that before. They were No. 1 on my list but have slipped in the ratings. A good dining experience.

I Love this place! Best southern comfort food in St. Augustine, but be warned go early to beat the crowd because there will be one any day they are open. They do serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff is super friendly and have a good time serving up delicious dishes. They even have a drive through pick up window!! Definitely a place you don’t want to miss. One of my new favs!!

As a first timer I would return. The portions are large and the service was great! This is probably a place where the items are hit or miss so I would use caution. I got a stuffed chicken breast and couldn't finish. Don't be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations, our waitress was honest and very helpful.

Tried a new dish last night, Saint Germaine‘s it was a bacon angel hair pasta peas in a Sherry sauce strange combination if you’re not familiar with the dish I suggest staying away from it you may not be able to finish it I can eat just about anything and that was not palatable. Let the restaurant know basically they said they couldn’t do anything about my situation kind of understand I did get it to go if I was sitting in the restaurant I would’ve asked them to take it from me probably would’ve been comp something it was 1699 I would suggest if you were not familiar with this dish do not try it.Especially on a carry out. Buyer beware Will say that the red drum is good

What amazing food. Liver and onions delicious. Flounder was spot on. Salmon platter as appetizer was a mouth full flavor. Fresh food and fresh made. This is my new favorite place for lunch. Large selections for lunch and dinner. Has a drive through and prices are reasonable. Especially for being fresh vegetables.

Found them on Google and decided to give them a try. I'm glad we did. They have great choices on their menu for every taste. We had the conch fritters for an appetizer they were great. For dinner, we had the meatloaf and burger. Both were very good. Tony was our server, and he was very attentive and friendly. We came down from Jacksonville and will be back

Large insanely diverse menus are usually a red flag. Not here. They are just great at everything from burritos to stuffed grape leaves to flounder Hemingway to creme Brule. Serving size is almost overly generous. The burritos can be about 3 meals. Be prepared for the overwhelming selection and desire to reform and try everything. Parking can be a challenge.

The patty melt was huge, and the fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was delicious. The prices were very reasonable.

Whatever you do, don't get the meatloaf! LOL! You'll eat the entire serving plus every morsel of every side you get. Seriously, boys and girls, this meatloaf is the best I've ever had that's not mom's. Plus, they don't ruin it with freaking tomatoes or ketchup. Don't get me wrong. Tomatoes are the food of the gods, but they got no business being any where near a piece of meat loaf. Yea, just don't get the meatloaf. Now go get the meatloaf. Ask for Juan's section for top shelf service!

Oh my Goodness. I'm so glad we found this restaurant. First time here and won't be our last. Absolutely delicious !!!! Great Service, Friendly staff. Generous Portion. Didn't get pictures of food because we dove right in lol. Great Restaurant.

I should have ordered a dinner instead of a sandwich. The liver and onions hubby had were fantastic. Homemade mash, gravy, and the best green beans ever. My hot Italian hero was average. Plenty of filling, but the roll was too dark and crunchy. Pamela was an excellent server. Would go back, and I will just stick a proper dinner.

Great local place! Friendly and knowledgeable servers, fantastic foods and very reasonable prices! We had the shrimp and grits - very tasty, and the hummus platter. The house dressing for salads is absolutely divine! I was afraid to try it because I'm a creature of habit, but I broke out my shell, thanks to Tony, our server. Thank you Tony!

This place never disappoints, dine in or take out. Our server was a top notch pro - took order for 4, no pad, no mistakes. They were busy and kept a good pace. Portobello sandwich was excellent. Friends loved the Reuben and the Philly. One doesn't eat fries much but polished these off. Never anything less than excellent here!

8 of us went for early Saturday dinner based on great web reviews. It was busy but they seated us together within minutes. Great variety of food. I recommend the chicken parm. Delicious. Hone cooked. Big serving with pasta and veggies. Great value.

Eat where to locals eat and you will see why. Huge portions of truly great food. If you are a tourist this is worth the drive away from the rush of downtown. I had the prime rib and my wife had the turkey and dressing. They do not skimp on the prime rib and it is really good. The mashed potatoes are 'real' and not out of a box. I had collard greens as my other side and they were very tasty. Not bitter at all. I had some of my wife's turkey and it was also really well done. I don't see a bad item on the menu. We have now added this gem of a restaurant to our rotation when we come to St Augustine.

My spouse and I had a wonderful mid week lunch at Ned's. We both had the flounder special, cooked to perfection. Veggies ( carrots and squash) fresh and steamed, not cooked to mush or slathered with some unrecognizable sauce, as seems to be the trend these days. The house made key lime pie had just the right balance of tart and sweet. Service was excellent despite the busy lunch hour. Prices fair for quality of both food and service. Just overall a wonderful place.

Great service! I had the Cuban, but asked for turkey instead of ham. It was about average with a healthy dose of meat. The pickles were not as fresh and crispy as I would have liked and the fries were ok. I would have much preferred fresh hand-cut and not frozen. Overall a 4/5 because of the upbeat atmosphere and wonderful server.
