The service was the best I think ever. I couldn't believe how sweet our waitress was. The food took a little time to get there but it was definitely worth the wait it was delicious! I got the spaghetti with artichoke hearts and dry tomatoes in an oil and white wine sauce. My son had the neapolitan pizza which I stole a piece and it was delicious 😋

Rather solid attempt to provide New York style pizza in a beach town. The spinach salad was a fresh and had very excellent spinach. Nice atmosphere for dine in, but little options for outdoor seating. This restaurant is clean with attentive service. They have great options for take out as well.

I'm usually very picky about Italian restaurants. I am married to an Italian and her family has set the bar pretty high. But everything was really good here. Their sauce is authentic and fresh with lots of garlic. The mussels in red sauce were fresh and delicious. Service was a little slow but friendly.

Have been a loyal customer for years! We always order the same thing every time for takeout. We’ve been pretty upset the past few times due to the portions! A couple years ago a Stromboli and a calzone would almost fill up the whole pizza box! We would be able to eat off it a couple times! Which isn’t bad for $25 (including a $4 tip). We gave it a break for a couple months and decided to try again… we immediately noticed it only filled up about half the box… but hey whatever it’s still delicious 🤤… then tonight we order again only to open a box that is a quarter full 🤔 … it’s one thing to make smaller portions due to inflation and all that stuff… but at least lower your prices… husband and I both said that was the last meal we would order from there… sad 😔

My wife and I ate dinner here on 9/12/2022. We enjoyed everything and felt like it was a very good value. We had the bruschetta, a nice and fresh house salad, pizza, baked ziti, plus a cannoli and tiramisu for dessert. Oh…and the house bread was soft and delicious! We had plenty of leftovers for the two of us to have another meal, which increases the value proposition even more. Our server was attentive and friendly. We’d certainly go back again!

Great food! My husband loved his Chicken Alfredo! My Frutta di Mare was great, just a little too much sauce at the bottom for my liking.

Kerry took care of my wife and I for three days at lunch. The salads are huge for the money and the pizza is very good.

The Alfredo is like white gold. Maybe better. The sun-dried tomatoes were grilled a bit to bring out flavor and was great with the artichokes. There's a bit of cleaning up of unnecessary things in the hall though.

Awesomeness on a plate. Great Food, Great Service. It was very busy, but they took care of everyone quickly and efficiently.

Our second time at Genovese's Italian Cafe and it delivered great tasting food again! In love the veal and my wife the clams. Their tomato sauce is amazing 😍. Even better is the prices are very reasonable. Enjoy!!

Been a customer of this restaurant since the original owner and now it is owned by previous employees. Not having been in the restaurant for quite some time due to covid and our age, we decided to eat in as we were nearby. We regularly order delivery. I am now a firm believer that there food which is always wonderful delivered is best when served right out of the oven. My pizza my wife's pasta and my daughter's lasagna were all above the term delightful I guess maybe scrumptious is a better term. Let me just say this forget your next takeout order or delivery and dine in you will see what I mean. Our server Karen was a delight and perfectly attentive. One other note, it is hard to find nice crunchy bread with a soft interior slathered in butter any better than here. Mange!

We found this restaurant on our first visit to Daytona and we're now regulars when we're in town. The food is awesome and our server Kathy treats us like family. We're told that the menu has been in effect for the last 42 years so they must be doing something right. Give them a try and you'll love it!

If you haven’t tried Genovese’s you are missing out … I’m an OLD School Italian and VERY picky about red gravy ( sauce) and meatballs but lemme tell ya this place is GREAT… Took an old friend there this afternoon… Best red sauce I’ve had other then my own. The meatballs were phenomenal. Like I made them myself. Salad fresh and good. Bread was excellent. Nice and crusty . Service was very good. Very clean and comfy place. Super nice people. If you’re beachside near Dunlawton check this place out. You will NOT regret it. I’d give them 10 Stars if I could.

Best Italian I've had in a long time! At the table we had Manicotti with Veal Parmigiano, Shrimp Scampi, and Fettuccine Alfredo. Big ricotta fan, so the Manicotti was amazing - I cut the veal with a spoon! Tender and delicious! Shrimp Scampi had the right mix of garlic and olive oil - Great flavor! And the Alfredo was Rich and cheesy. I definitely recommend & hope I have the chance to come back to Daytona and eat there again! Oh! And Great, Friendly service!!!

My wife took me here for my birthday while on vacation in Port Orange, FL. I couldn't have asked for a more authentic, tasty, and fulfilling Italian meal! The portions were large, and both my wife and I ended up taking some home. Waitress was incredible... very attentive and helpful with menu choices! We highly recommend this Italian eatery!

Absolutely the best Baked Penne I have ever had. Service was exceptional-we arrived 20 mins before they closed and the whole experience was excellent! We will be back!

A friendly and clean restaurant with highly carbonated cold sodas! The food here is something you will not forget! I leave 4 stars on the food not for the flavor but for the excessive amount of red sauce on my chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti noodles were so so.. Also I don’t ever eat salads but here I could eat salads all day long! They have the best flavor I’ve ever had!

Have been coming here for 20 years. Always loved it. Arrived tonight and found out the owner no longer offers white zinfandel wine. That's all we drink! So sad. Food was always good but we like wine with our dinner. Will not go back! End of an era.

All the food we got was super delicious. Tiramasu was outstanding. Service - our waitress was on it. The resturant could use updating. I would 100% go back. My chicken parmesan was cooked perfect. I got it with their cheese raviolis and those were cooked perfect too.

Lovely ambiance, super friendly and attentive wait staff with fantastic food!! Had a great first experience here. It looks a bit small at first but even with a full house it didn't feel cramped at all and the staff was super on point getting drinks, appetizers and the main course out quickly. We will definitely be back another time and might try a take out pizza between now and then. The hubby and I had pasta dishes but the pizzas we saw looked and smelled fabulous!

Best Italian food I've ever had. I got the manicotti and chicken Parm. My fiance got the spinach Alfredo pizza and we couldn't stop stealing each other's food it was just SOOOOOO good.

We were looking at eating Italian tonight and we decided to head here for dinner. Food was great. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo and hubby had the Lobster Ravioli with Alfredo sauce. Both were served with a choice of soup or salad and bread. There was more than enough food for me to have a second meal! Pasta was done al dente as it should be, and the garlic bread with cheese was absolutely delicious, light, fluffy crusty real bread! Food service was a little slow, but they were SLAMMED and our server, Kathy, was both funny and took good care of us. They did warn us before seating us that pizzas were taking about 45 min so we did know what to expect. We will be back for sure when we're over this way!

Staying at the nearby Hampton inn. Had 2 pizzas delivered. They arrived on time and we're delicious! We ordered the spinach alfredo and the Donatello. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Enjoyed this place twice while in DBS, during the first visit I had spaghetti with meat sauce and my husband had a stromboli. Even though both of our dishes were amazing we were envious of the neighboring table that ordered a pizza. So we decided to come back and try the pizza and it did not disappoint! Both servers we had were delightful. Love the family atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Good food and great service! This is a quaint establishment with quality food. I had the low fat pizza without cheese and it was great. The dough was crispy and fresh and their marinara sauce was also awesome. some of the best pizza i have had in awhile.

Very cozy place also service was excellent food was really really good lasagna delicious full of cheese and meat and the sauce was very authentic however the pizza sauce was a bit salty I imagine that was because of the different meats that were on the pizza Would I visit this Genovese"s again? yes, can't wait to try the spaghetti with crab meat

Genovese’s is a solid, authentic restaurant. We were seated easily as it was 3:30 on a Saturday. Our host and waiter were quick to serve us. The garlic cheesy bread is fantastic! Homemade bread likely with mozzarella and a great garlic butter my base. We were also brought plain bread with butter for the table. About 10min later, our spinach alfredo with meatball pizza and lobster ravioli arrived. Both looked amazing! The alfredo pizza was creamy and had a good crust. Lobster ravioli was awesome too except we felt the portion size didn’t align with the price ($20). Everything was really great and we’ll likely try their free delivery next time!
