The employees were friendly enough but wasn't happy with the overall experience or cost. We had to put one of our cats to sleep after she got sick and turned out she had leukemia. Following week we took our other 2 cats to Banfield to get tested. They did the in-house SNAP test. One was negative, one was positive. Went in to pick them up and after getting the news that your cat you've had since he was 2 months old (9 years now) tested positive for the disease you just had to put your other cat down days earlier, there was no vet available to answer our questions and the best we could do is write down any questions we had and the vet might call later in week. Only person we could talk to was a vet tech who was hard to understand and didn't seem to be overly knowledgeable. At first she said they vaccinated our cat that tested negative but then when I followed up about that she said they DIDN'T vaccinate her and I asked if they could, she said No they won't vaccinate her and she'll probably just eventually test positive as well. Then they wanted us to bring them both in a few days later for teeth cleaning and for the more involved test that goes to a lab for our cat that tested positive. For teeth cleaning they would've both been put under anesthesia which we questioned since he literally tested positive for a disease that attacks the immune system. They said they'll double check him before. Then the cost was almost 600 for the two just for SNAP test. Called around and found an actual brick and mortar vet clinic that actually has vets IN HOUSE and was much happier. Actually getting to talk to a vet was alot more reassuring and we paid only $130 for the visit and follow up leukemia test as opposed to almost $300 at Banfield. Stick with a clinic where the vets aren't in just on certain days and will actually come out and talk to you

Their pet care is okay, but the business side of their office is the worst. They have absolutely no idea what they are talking about and will lie to you then do nothing to fix their mistakes. My ex-wife and I separated and were going to get separate bank accounts. Our plan was to cancel their "insurance" plan and I was going to eventually re-enroll my dog in it once my financial situation got settled. My ex was the primary account holder so she called up to cancel the policy and the front desk told her it wouldn't be an issue. Fast forward a month and a half and I get a bill under my name for the monthly fee. My ex calls again, front desk staff tells her to disregard and they will get it handled. Another month passes and I get ANOTHER bill so she calls again. Same thing. Disregard, it'll be handled. Then I get a THIRD bill and a notice saying I'm about to be referred to a collections agency. She was then told to call the billing office which she did. The billing office refused to speak to her stating they would only speak to me. I then call them and get told it didn't matter what the office said, I owe the money and they have nothing on record showing that she was the primary account holder. They had her phone number and email as the primary but apparently I was "primary" After getting referred to collections, I spoke with Tyler, the practice manager. I explained what happened and apparently the front desk staff aren't supposed to say anything about not owing money. He told me he would handle this and to disregard the bill because I don't owe anything. I asked if I could get something in writing or a follow-up call to confirm this was handled and he said he would. He never did. Now, 2-3 months later, I'm back in collections and ICI is demanding payment or my credit score is going to be impacted. The amount of incompetence here is insane and the customer service is abysmal. They aren't willing to correct their mistake and it' about to impact my credit score. I will be going up there this week to speak to their manager in person and demanding this be fixed and getting something in writing. I also will continue to steer people away from Banfield because this situation has been incredibly stressful between the lies and potential damage to my credit score. Go somewhere else.

2 interactions in a row with a terrible experience. The front desk woman is very sassy. She seems to hate her job, she's not very customer oriented. I called and Inquired about heartworm earlier in the week. I asked if I could bring my dogs heartworm test results in to have on file at the clinic. I was told no, that I had to do it with that office which is pricey (I've never had this issue before putting the spca results on file) and that I should just go to a different vet clinic. I don't need to use this clinic it was pretty rude. VERY STUCK UP DISGUSTING. I went back to get his last dose of prevention medication and again that was a terrible experience the woman is just cold and mean. Just sad so many people would love to work with a vet and actually take care of the customers and fur babies. While unfortunately that Karen is scaring customers away. Have fun with that no thanks we will go as you suggested 👍

If you have cats, run, do not walk from this location. They force you to crate your cat, and then leave them for hours until they can see them. By this time your cat is so skittish that he will not be seen because he is scared and behaves badly. Forget being with your pet because they are still operating on "covid policies" because they "claim" it is company policy, but the interesting item to note is the banfield in Seminole county is allowing owners to be with their cats so that they are more comfortable. It appears their "covid policy" is more a choice to not deal with pet owners rather than a real policy. This location obviously is not cat friendly. I would NEVER recommend this office.

We love BANFIELD! No matter which location we visit we are always treated with respect and compassion by our banfield team! They have a network of amazing doctors and nurses all across the country which puts my mind at ease being a family that loves to travel. Our wellness plans work at every location no matter the state! We have been apart of the banfield family for going on three years (starting with my employment there) and couldn’t be happier with them. As a client and former employee I would recommend banfield and it’s wellness plans to all cat and dog parents!

I am torn writing this. They put our sweet boy, Buddy, down for us a few weeks ago. They were wonderful in that aspect. Very attentive to our daughter during this time as it was extremely difficult. Our first fur-baby to pass. We were told that they would mail us his paw and nose print. Its been a couple weeks and we still have yet to receive the prints. We have called for about a week now. No one returns the calls. This is were I am so angry. This was our fist loss. This was so hard and they handled it all so well. Now its like the are saying our job is down and kiss off. We aren't you returning our calls? Why haven't you sent the prints? What's the problem!?

I have a great dane puppy. Vet tech I had to argue for more pills she insisted my great dane puppy wouldn't gain more then 5 lbs in a month. The receptionist time before last was just very rude but I don't think she's there no more. Dr. Orr though is amazing.

I took my puppy here for his second distemper booster, as well as looking at his eye discharge that only comes out after he’s woken up and he’s had since I got him a month prior to my appointment. Before they even took him back, the nurse was pushing expensive tests and insurance on me. The doctor took him back to give him his shot and look at his eye, brought him back, and made us wait at least 20 minutes before we got fed up and walked out of the room to pay for the vaccine and leave. That’s when we were told he had conjunctivitis and needed a cream and antihistamine to treat. When told we just wanted to pay for the vaccine and leave, they kept pushing. If my dog had conjunctivitis, his eyes would’ve been swollen shut by this point and the discharge would have been all of the time. For the next two days after his appointment, he had severe side effects, including not being able to walk on his leg the vaccine had been administered to. For his post adopt check up and last distemper vaccine, he was taken back to the clinic at the shelter he was adopted from. Prior to the doctor taking him back, his eye was not mentioned. When the doctor came back in, she did not bring up his eye at all, however, I did ask if she noticed anything. She said it definitely was not conjunctivitis and she didn’t notice anything wrong, but she took another look. She ended up diagnosing it as eyelid entropion, a condition he was born with and there is no treatment for unless the condition is severe enough for surgery, which it is not. So had I believed the vet at Banfield, I would have paid money for an unnecessary medication and eye test. Also, after the exact same vaccine given at the shelter, my dog had only the normal, mild side effects and was able to walk just fine. I filed a complaint with corporate, which was sent to local management. Karen, the woman I spoke to, was incredibly condescending, and basically told me her doctor was not in the wrong and that she “was sorry I felt like I was being pushed to spend money.” Aside from basically telling me I was wrong, she did absolutely nothing aside from try to justify her hospital’s actions. Overall, I would not recommend Banfield unless you want to spend unnecessary money on misdiagnoses.

We really love this place, but unfortunately the last time we went the vet we had, seemed like she was trying to sell us other services instead of caring for the dogs

When your veterinarian prescribes something (simparica trio) that poisons your pet and then they can't stop severe diarrhea for 3 days and I have to take him to ER, it leaves a lot to say. I will never take my dog here again.

Diane is very rude when asking simple questions regarding your pet, my dogs shots expired she told me 5xs how expired they were after I politely advised okay I will pay for everything that needs to be updated and her response was “like I said”… learn how to speak to customers professionally I will take my dog elsewhere and gladly pay more if I have to. I hung up before I returned the negative back.

Just as good or bad as any other vet practice. Very overworked staff or shall I say overbooked. Lacking transparency. I’m confident they know what they’re doing, but overshadowed by the sheer numbers of patients and poor working conditions. And they charge for absolutely everything. I congratulate them for their positive demeanor under such conditions.

Quickly assessed and diagnosed my poodles infection and prescribed antibiotics. The payment was reasonable with their monthly assistance plan.

I have spent thousands of dollars over the years with up to five dogs on the program at a time. I will NEVER go back. Here's why. Staff is nice and medically knowledgeable. Corporate trains hard sell and now they renew your annual memberships without permission and refuse to reimburse when you notice..scam parent company...recently went to a new small town vet and was treated like a himself being..not a number

I have no words to describe the horrible experience I had. My dog's arm was really swollen and he wasn't able to walk on it. He wasn't eating or drinking or going potty. I took him in and lucky me, Soler walks in. He sits on the floor, checks his arm, listens to his heart, then he says that it doesn't look good. He went over what it might be, and every scenario he gave me was worse than the other. I asked him if X-rays are needed? He said he can't guarantee getting good shots and sedation is a bit tricky because of my dog's age. Plus, he said that the only thing the X-rays might tell us is that my dog might require surgery. He assumed that is. He didn't even do blood work (which was included in my plan). All he did was give him IV fluids for dehydration, a shot for the pain, and really heavy meds that if mixed can cause seizures. And right before walking out the room, he told me to "prepare" myself and while I was sobbing uncontrollably, he handed me 2 pamphlets for in house euthanasia. The tech, Carolina, who was amazing by the way, was hugging and comforting me the entire time. She even asked Soler for blood work and he said, it's not necessary. Well, I wasn't having it. I called his vet in Boca (we moved here 3 weeks ago) made an appointment and drove 3 hours down there to see them. They did my baby right. They took X-rays and blood work, and guess what it was? It was a bug bite. A BUG BITE!!! Soler wanted to put my baby down for a freaking BUG BITE!!! The vet in Boca gave him the proper meds, and not even a week later (knock on wood) my baby is doing great. The swelling is down, he's eating and drinking, and he's walking just fine, despite what Soler told me about him not being able to ever walk again. Thank god I had enough sense to seek a second opinion from a real vet that cares. The HELL "Dr." Soler has put me through, is unforgivable. I can understand if he was basing his "professional" opinion on tests and facts but he literally did NOTHING!!! To recommend euthanizing a completely healthy dog over a bug bite, shows how negligent he is and how little he cares about these animals. I can't speak for the other vets at this location but trust me, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO SEE SOLER!!!

We LOVE Banfield. Both of our dogs are on the Optimum Wellness plan. Very affordable pet insurance. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The vets are amazing. They really take time to converse with you about your concerns with your pet. They take time to offer up tips and helpful ideas to make life better for you and your animal. Also very conveniently located in our PetSmart for all your pet supplies. Bathrooms. Wheelchair accessible. OPEN ON SATURDAYS! Easy to get an appointment. I love when you walk in they have a personalized board welcoming your pet by name. I would highly recommend.

I received great service. Everyone who was involved with the appointment was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The nurse (vet tech?) had a particularly peaceful nature, and that helped me and my cat stay calm. (Thanks, Tyler!) The veterinarian was very patient through my plethora of questions. They advised me on steps to contribute to my cat's wellness, yet didn't pressure me into anything. Thank you, Banfield!

We had to let our best friend go to his final resting place. They showed us caring and compassion during this time and went beyond to let us mourn him. Even when we picked up his ashes they were so helpful and compassionate again. Thank you for this we really needed that.

The staff was very efficient. The doctor took the time to explain things concerning my doggie. They were able to see us quickly when the Palm Coast location couldn't see my sick dog for a week!

I love these people! This place is amazing and so great. The check in was super easy and they explained everything so I could understand. Thanks guys so much for taking good care of my cat! I know im getting good care with my pet snd they don't force me to get/do anything related to care that I don't want to do. Great care packages and payment assistance if you qualify. Hope they are where I will be moving next as I like the quality care and want to remain with their services!!
