I was having tooth pain and thought I needed a root canal, had some trouble with insurance and ended up having to switch from my preferred dental practice to this one. I saw an endodontist who sent a letter to Dental Excellence explaining that I needed a chipped filling repaired. When I had my appointment at DE the dentist I met with looked at my teeth and said "yep, you need a filling. unfortunately I don't do that and will need to schedule you with a different dentist." I couldn't believe it... if you don't do fillings what do you do? So, still in pain, I scheduled yet another appointment. During that appointment the dentist that does fillings had a terrible bedside manner. I was anxious and uncomfortable the whole time (and I don't usually have dental anxiety). After the filling had been cured he was doing the test where you grind your teeth on the film that leaves behind marks so they can shape it to fit with your dentition. Well, it kept rubbing against a top molar that had no fillings and had never needed work. Instead of continuing to file down the new sharp filling that wasn't fitting, this dentist filed down my actual tooth that should not have been touched. Of course my teeth have felt weird ever since and I was way too uncomfortable to say anything. I just got out of there as fast as possible. I would recommend literally any other dentist over this place. What a nightmare.

Doctor Hiremath and his staff have taken care of all my dental needs for over 20 years, even my children’s, watching them grow up from the pediatrics side of the previous office, now growing up and being seen with the big kids in the new office. The best patient service and always so kind and caring! Thank you for all you do:)

I really liked Dental Excellence for multiple years, but then I found out that they had secretly been upcharging me for what I was led to believe was a routine cleaning. When I disputed this, they stated they would discuss it and call me back and then never gave me a call. And then when I spoke to them next, they said that they couldn't change the type of cleaning or refund me. I asked why my dental hygienist never discussed this with me and they stated they didn't know, she no longer worked there. Horrible practice, horrible customer service.

Dr. Hiremath and his staff were top notch for years in his previous location. The Dental Excellence clinic does not fit his friendly and professional manner. The first time we went to DE, I nearly walked out on the dental hygienist who couldn't stop her juvenile "talk" for 45 minutes. That was followed by a billing error. Now, my husband's favorite hygienist has left the practice. Sorry, Dr. Hiremath, we had to go back to Oro Valley! Still love that office even without all those wonderful murals.

Dr. Hornsby and multiple hygienists (Aida, Kaya, and others) have been taking care of my teeth since July 2019. They are very professional and very caring. They always patiently listen to all my questions and concerns and give pertinent and helpful advice without being critical. Every visit has been a great experience.

These people are scam artists. Will show you a bill at the beginning of your appointment and then charge you 8x more without any explanation. I was not told I was getting anything more than a basic cleaning and x ray at the beginning of my appointment and then they tacked on 3 more charges I was unaware of. Don’t go here!

I am very pleased with the dental services I have had at Dental Excellence.  The dentist who treated me for many years retired before the pandemic so I was without dental care for several years and was nervous about finding a facility as good as the one I had been at.  Everyone I have encountered at Dental Excellence has been upbeat, highly skilled, polite and a pleasure.  The ladies who sign me in are always so sweet.  The facility itself is amazing, I love the incredible metal print wildlife photography and the lizards in the terrarium.  I can't say enough good things about Dr Hiremath and his assistant, what great people who put me at ease with their sense of humor and incredible skills.  The dental tech who did my dental cleaning for me was also a lovely young lady who did a great job.  I appreciate the ladies who check me out who always explain the billing process to my satisfaction.  Dental Excellence is an exceptional facility, I am very thankful to be able to go there when I need dental services.

I was running late, called ahead, they were still able to take care of my teeth cleaning. Michelle was my dental hygienist. My first time with her. She is very personable and did an excellent job. Everyone was pleasant.

I have been going to a Dr. who joined this practice on his way to provide his patients a smooth transition as he began to set up his retirement. I have been treated well by this new practice. They are smart, efficient, personable, reasonable costs, reminders of appointments and excellent skills. Everyone is wonderful, helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dental Excellence makes the whole process enjoyable from start to finish. Such a clean, modern facility and everyone there is so nice and friendly I can't wait to go back! By the way, David is fantastic...easy going and so attentive to detail... we couldn't trust our Dental care anywhere else!

I’m a nervous wreck about having my teeth drilled and had to get a crown put on and a cavity filled this summer. I’m very happy to report that Dr. Hornsby is an amazing dentist, with a wonderful bedside manner. I felt very confident in his profession, had minimal discomfort throughout, and left smiling with my healthy new teeth! Furthermore, I was provided clear instruction along the way about timing, pain, and the actual procedures, and was consistently treated with respect and understanding by all the staff at Dental Excellence: hygienists, assistants and front desk alike! I highly recommend them for great service and competent, kind, high-quality dentistry.

The chosen name for this dental practice says it all! It lives up to the name "Excellence" in every way, every visit. My dentist, one of five, is calm, caring and my most favorite dentist ever! My hygienist is outstanding! The office staff is extremely knowledgeable and always happy to help. The office itself is very new, spacious and sparkling clean. The only thing that disappoints me is that I didn't know about this practice years ago...

My upper crown came out suddenly late on a Friday morning. No pain, but I it made me very anxious. I was so happy they got me in the following Monday to refit and secure the crown back into place. Their dental office is super clean, modern, efficient, and most of all, kind and generous. Thank you Dr. Hiremath and hygienist Jenny! You saved the day for this out of state travel RN!
