This place is an oasis of tranquility in our crazy world. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, decorated with a Southwest motif. The courtyard provides shade throughout the day and the Arizona room offers coffee, tea, water, microwave, cookies, internet access and books and movies. The grounds offer plenty of seating areas, a labyrinth and a nature trail. In addition to the host of birds who visit daily we saw a coyote, a bobcat and a western diamondback rattlesnake all on the property. We made it our base for visiting Tucson and we’re very glad we did.

We have stayed in MANY motels, hotels and inns all over the world, this one is at the top of my list. It was clean, out of the city, quiet, the innkeeper was very informative, the food (free breakfast) was great, and so much more. We live in the desert and the surrounding were awesome. The way the rooms are decorated was typical Mexican and Southwest, going along with the area. It was quint and comfortable. Just a couple miles away from the Arizona Desert Museum and the Saguaro National park, great for walking and hiking the area. Numerous cable TV channels and DVD with many DVDs in the room inside the building, along with free coffee and cookies. The WiFi was a little dodgy, but we did not care. We went for our 44th anniversary get-away.

What a great place to stay! We loved our Old Mexico room... very spacious, comfortable, with interesting lovely furnishings. The interior courtyard is so inviting and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. I loved the murals and statuary. Breakfast at the Coyote Pause Café is included... that too was perfect. I highly recommend staying this b&b if you are visiting the area!

Be ready to be amazed at this spectacular lodge. Upon entering you'll find a stunning central hallway decorated in SW style, the beautiful rooms are large, clean and comfortable with a sofa. There is a central Guest Room with sofa and lounge chairs to chill. The location is just outside town, close to Saguaro NP and Tucson, and close to restaurants. The grounds are gorgeous, you can sit outside in contact with nature. You'll get a coupon for a complete and delicious breakfast at the Coyote Pause restaurant across the street. Highly recommend!

On my way through Tucson to New Mexico (from San Diego) I needed an overnight place to stay and researched online. Cat Mountain Lodge looked interesting and had great reviews. I'm so glad that I found it, as it was GREAT! I stayed in the Frida Kahlo room (each room is individually decorated with a theme) and LOVED it! Everything was so tasteful and there was great art everywhere. The colors and decor were amazing. Also, the outside gardens, fountain, labyrinth and patio are gorgeous. What a great find. It's right on the way to the Desert Museum and is sitting surrounded by beautiful desert and mountains. Also, the shops across the street, which are part of the property, are unique and AWESOME. I especially loved shopping at The Buffalo Trading Post. When we drive through Tucson again and need a place to stay, we will most definitely stay here again!

Wow! We just stayed here for three nights and it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Great location for visiting Saguaro National Park! The grounds are lovely, desert landscaping; fresh water for birds and wildlife. The rooms are extremely clean and uniquely beautiful. The staff is amazing, and the food at Coyote Pause is great, especially the prickly pear slaw! All around a happy and appealing experience!

We just returned from a three night stay at The Cat Mountain Lodge. Rooms were spacious and clean. Courtyard was beautiful. Cable lights were not working in courtyard at night, a little dark. I would suggest you bring your own shampoo and soap. You are adjacent to park, lots of great hiking. The nature museum and observatory are near by. Cafe Coyote Pause was great! There is a Buffalo Exchange across the street, highly recommend you stop by!! Kathleen was an amazing host and service was great. She was very helpful to us with local history and suggestions. Wifi was good, fridge, microwave and all common areas were very neat and clean. Would definitely stay again.

I could live here. Very unique, themed rooms, clean and cozy rooms. The garden oasis in the lodge was really cool.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed here. This place is awesome and very well thought out. Every detail has been thought of. Even a little flash light by the bed. I will be back again and again.

We stayed at the Roadside Inn in the Diego’s Room for a wedding up the road. I really love this place. It has everything I need. A central lounge with coffee, tea, cookies, bags of ice in the freezer, a separate compartment in the fridge for your food and drinks and a microwave and dishes. There’s a makeup mirror in the bathroom which I really appreciate and lots of counter space for all of my toiletries. They supply you with pump containers filled with unscented hand soap, unscented lotion, unscented body wash and unscented shampoo. The grounds are beautiful. There are bird feeders and a fire pit and each room has their own outdoor patio area on the patio that wraps around the building. If you get a chance, stay here!

My husband and I are on our second trip driving across country and decided to stop here and stay at the Roadside Inn for a night - we chose the Tejas Room. On this cross country trip we've stayed at 14 different places so far and we still say this was the best of our stops. Kerrie was such a great host, she helped us find our way to our room, even when we arrived late in the night. The Inn was so charming and the decor I fell in love with. Everything about this Inn was well thought out to give guests a wonderful experience. There's a desert garden that surrounds Roadside Inn that's quite beautiful. We went to eat at the Coyote Cafe with our complimentary breakfast voucher and then perused the shops behind it.

Cute place close to West Saguaro National Park. The staff were very helpful getting us checked in. The room was great and we even got to see some local wildlife right outside our window (deer and a hawk).

Enjoy a quiet stay at a themed room bed and breakfast in Tucson Estates west of Tucson on Kinney Road. This is the Fiesta Room. The room is about a standard size room and well appointed. The rooms surround an inner courtyard. There is a restaurant on site. The Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum is about a 10-15 minute drive away. Call ahead to check rates and availability.

Recently, I stayed overnight at this lodge. It was a very pleasant stay. The reservation process was simple, the check-in and check-out were also simple and straight froward. The room charge was exactly what was quoted at the time of making the reservation, no surprise taxes. The $10 breakfast voucher was a nice touch. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the amenities in good order and everything worked properly. The service was excellent. The proximity to Saguaro Park, Desert Museum and Old Tucson was an added benefit.I am glad I chose to stay at this lodge. I plan on staying here during the next visit.

couldn't find many reviews about the guest house online, but it ended up being just as stunning as the main lodge! It's only a short skip across the road from the lodge to the guest house--you could walk if needed. The guest house is equipped with a full kitchen, perfect decor, and a bathroom with both tub and shower. There's a private patio out back looking out over the hills and saguaro desert, including a fire pit for cold nights, or a full table and umbrella for warmer days. Loved our stay, would definitely return!

The Cat Mountain Lodge is a hidden gem south of Tucson. We were impressed with how clean the property was. Beautiful outdoor seating areas to enjoy mountain and desert views. Unique decor, with all the small details covered.

👍👍 What a hidden gem. All the rooms are so unique and different from any commercial cookie cutter hotel out there. Staff was so friendly and helpful and all the rooms were spotless. We will definitely be staying there again when we're in the area.
