Overrun with rude receptionists, especially one in particular. Anyone reading this review will know who i mean because she is THAT bad. As someone with severe anxiety I am really put off of calling the surgery now and don’t feel confident about seeking help from them anymore. If you are booked for a telephone appointment (post covid) and you miss it then that is your one chance gone and have to wait another week or two for another one. People’s sleep patterns, availability etc is not taken into account. They phone you when they want and if you miss it, tough… try again next week.

Refusing to give me my medication so that I can breathe, is I think a dangerous and inhuman practice especially in this heat. I think the NHS and doctors need to understand that not all humans are the same. I will be suing the doctors for loss of earning if I end up in hospital due to there negligent practices. Please doctors stop thinking of your targets and money and do the job you were trained to, which is care for people not your bank balance. And this the text i was sent yesterday regarding my script. The receptionist told me it was refused because of over using, but this text says differently. Dear Mr Potter, The Doctor has requested that you do a blood test before she can issue the script. We will contact you as soon as the blood form is ready to collect. Thanks, St Mary Cray Practice So receptionist is lieing and the blood test is to hit targets and earn more money, not about my health. Absolute joke.

Myself was heavily pregnant ...Went there to register a new patient( old lady)...The receptionist gave the forms and told to return before 1145 am. We went back there at 1138 am ...was second in queue..when our turn comes, its 1142 am..the receptionist refused to accept the forms saying that its 1145 on the clock. She was very rude and raised voice at us. Very unfriendly...and not approachable.

Terrible service still refusing to see me face to face won’t let me call to make an appointment keep saying must do online e-consult although every time I do it it say call them and when I call in you get very rude receptionist finally managed to get a an appointment but only by phone call and made me wait nearly a week and half for the call with a trapped nerve in my neck that causes so much I have to keep begging for medication they kept telling the was gonna put on my repeat prescription now but left without any medication for last two months keep getting to gp will witch they still haven’t absolute joke surgery with staff that’s only interested in getting the money from the nhs that they get paid to have us at there surgery

Excellent response to my e-consult with this GP practice received an hour after submitting my query and a prescription sent to my pharmacy. My experience is that GPs at this surgery care about their patients and are always empathetic.

My family and I have only been with this surgery for a few months, and have only had to seek medical advice 2/3 times, but ever time I can’t fault the surgery staff. Always helpful and friendly . I would recommend this surgery. Great

Good support overall. Recently I had a query and I was asked if I could call back the next day as they gather updates. They imitated to call back next day with updates. The person who handled the call was a new joiner (3 months old she said) very polite and attentive.

Very nervous b4 blood test but receptionists couldn't have been nicer - a rarity at surgery's these days! Nurse was quick and made experience as painless as possible.

Doesn't seem patient friendly... reception area tiny couldn't swing a cat in there..Staff seem indifferent and rather disingenuous to say the least . Have mobility issues couldn't see a chair anywhere..Seem to be sharing the building with the local dentist which is crazy since the building doesn't seem to be spacious enough for one operation never mind two.. yet to see a doctor.. Telephone induction s are the norm so if you turn up there expect to be turned away..

Done Two econsults, told they would call by 6pm the next day to both of them and got no calls, I tried calling the surgery many times over the course of 5 days no answer, went to walk into the surgery and it’s closed early! Nothing on their website about closing early!

I been a patient here since June 2021 Never had any issues with receptionists have always been polite on the phone and whilst in the practice always been helpful Same with doctors ans nurses there always been nice and chatty and listen

Booked in for a blood test there. Easy to be able book it in & staff friendly. Didnt have to wait around, they run on time & didnt hurt at all so very happy with the service there.

I moved from the central of London to Orpington and was faced with a choice GP I decided to take GP the one who is closer to me and now I really regret this in my choice. There is no chance to get to the doctor. All problems are solved over the phone (never seeing the patient) I needed a letter about my wife's current condition and THAT there is no letter and no refund of the £33.00 I paid for the letter it looks like (fraud). If anyone is looking for GP then bypass this address.
