A fantastic course, tricky in parts, but generally pretty fair. Many long holes, so need to be good off the tea!

The course has some really interesting holes, and has great potential but sadly maintenance was minimum. Cups were overgrown and flags leaning badly, the fairways and greens were overgrown (but still playable) This said, it was a pleasure to play. I'll definitely return here

Nice layout and in good condition for a public course. Just enough challenging holes to make it interesting. Greens are in good condition but very slow when I played. I can recommend the full English breakfast before tee off. Very tasty.

It's OK! 3.5 Stars if I could give that. I really want to like this course. Lovely woodland location, with an interesting layout, But seems to be a lack of investment/ time spent of the maintenance of the course. Its just a bit shabby, and seems with only a little of effort, it could be a real gem. Fairways felt like rough and they were very narrow in places. If you went into the first cut it was 50/50 if you would find it. The conditions, just got a bit grating after while and led to a less enjoyable experience. Worth playing, but I would choose a few other places before here in the local area.

Went for a game Sept 2022 for the first time here. Really lovely round and at a good price. Greens and fairways are in decent condition. It’s not Augusta but it’s fine. Some really nice holes to play and some long holes too. Decent service, pint and club sandwich in the bar afterwards. I was a little concerned (having read some previous reviews) beforehand that the course would be tired and unplayable but it was great. Will definitely return.

Great challenging coarse ,Shame next year the LEZ will stop many golfers playing the coarse thanks to Sadiq Khan putting high elms and orpington cray valley into his cash web.

It is badly looked after, unfortunately it is already muddy and it won't be long before the course is unplayable. It is not a good drainage course.

A fair variety of holes making good use of the hilly contours of the landscape requiring the player to hit shots uphill, downhill and along sloping fairways too. There also a couple of dog legs but both are to the right. A fair smattering of bunkers but fortunately no water. At the time of playing there were 4 temporary greens and unfortunately no yardages available for them.

After the weather we have had the course does need maintaining. The grass on the fairways has been left longer than you will like and the greens have been tined and heavily sanded. All things that will benefit the course later in the year no doubt. I would have thought the conditions might have been reflected in the green fee but they charged a hefty £34.00.which surprised me. I doubt I will rush back

Most greens in good order (if only everyone did theirs and one other pitch mark) there wouldn't be any A bit boggy in places due to recent rain, but holding up well

Course was in good condition. Some bunkers require more sand but generally can't complain.

This old course is need of some love but still played well but for £34 pounds a round was expecting a coupe in much better condition we teed off at 11.19 and finished our round at 3.30 behind a slow 2ball on getting back to the spike bar for a well deserved pint was told were closed by very grumpy old man on asking what time thay closed he said know so we just went home this spoiled our afternoon and left a bad taste about the hole place we won't be going back

One of our (my wife) favorite course, reasonable price, people behind the reception are so friendly and the course is quite challenging, I've been told hole no.13 par 3 is one of the difficult par 3 in Kent, I played of 6 handicap, I never can hit the ball on the green, might be one day.

For playing during the winter albeit not extremely wet, this course is in great condition. The ground is pretty firm and you won't get mud splashed on your face if your golfing skill is like mine.
