My husband and l had a nice few hours looking around. Met a friend from a coach trip who enjoyed it too. Got some shopping in the grocery shop,🍏🍐🍑🥦🧄🥐🍞 which has some different things to buy. Nice butchers if you love meat,🍖🍗🥩🍔🥓 also outside a lovely fish shop🦀🦐🦞. The restaurant is very nice, has lovely sandwiches cakes etc. Also has meals.🍕🍟🥪🍰☕🍔 I think it's better here now than before lock down. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ also my friend brought a nice pair of shoes, they also sell WIDE FITTING SHOES.

I enjoyed my pleasant visit to Polhill Garden Centre Ltd ( Thurs. 2/9/21). Plenty of garden choices - a fairly sizeable range of products/ implements ie. garden tools, flowers and shrubs, fencing, ornaments, garden lights, wildlife product supplies of bird feed and feeders etc. all here! I hasten to mention though, some specialist garden products for certain specialised needs and plants may have to be seeked elsewhere? However, a splendid display for sale 'of most' garden items for folk. Each time I visit here I find a little different surprise on sale, Christmas time especially. But, a special mention to the grocery, butchers, and other good food products within the shop centre. Briiliant food product choices at hand in the food shop. The food I thoroughly enjoyed in the restaurant, the 'Egg and Cresswell' Sandwich, Lotus Chocolate drink, Carrot cake was 'ALL YUMMY DELICIOUS! Also, the golden sweet potato chips filled my appetite to great aplomb and satisfaction in their clean airy restaurant. Busy in the restaurant though ( midday), and just maybe some waiting time involved depending on the amount of visitors. However that said, my wife and I, and good friend were served very promptly - WELL DONE! The staff I found very kind, 'service with a smile', obliging and polite, and also many thanks to the young lady who took a photo of my wife, friend and myself of us together in the restaurant. The mystery staff - the young lady 'MADE OUR DAY AND THANK YOU DARLING! I love my seafood passionately, and a very special and worthy mention goes to the Fishmongers shop 'COOPERS' situated by the main entrance of the centre from the car park. The staff ( two young lady owners) very kind, polite, friendly, pleasant, and were only to glad to serve their fine selection of seafood delights. The car park brilliantly spacious here at Polhill garden Centre - and its FREE! Also, I find with observation this place convenient to cater for the disabled and wheelchair bound with good specified marked car parking slots close to the centre entrance. General access good, rest areas, and spacious floor walkways here provided. Yes, my wife and I will definately return again!...👍 All the very best in business to every member of staff and management here at Polhill Garden Centre Ltd. I PERSONALLY LOVE 💘 THIS PLACE in this cosy rural North - West Kent retreat. A1 - 10/10. Just one snag, it is a little off the mainstream public transport link here at Polhill/ Badgers Mount and a car- lift, or, by your own means is really required to get here. The Christmas 🎄 decor was a real treat to view, it certainly lifted my spirits upwards. So happy and managed to buy the correct bird 🐦 feeding trays to fit on my bird feeding station. They were difficult to obtain and were not available at any other stores or retail outlets! 👍 Treated ourselves to the fine selection of fish from the outside fish shop at 'A' entrance in the Car park.Once again thoroughly enjoyed the meal ( Mayonaise sandwiches and the Christmas special Hot Chocolate drinks- delicious!) in the restaurant. Understandably crowded as the day went on but the jolly Christmas 🎄 spirit was evident with folk.😄👍🎄 Very well done again to the hardworking efficient very kind staff at Polhill Garden Centre. For me, this is a very well organised retail outlet and deserves the best of praise.👍 Im happy on the evidence here I've experienced. Really good place to get everything for your garden and most things for home as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a full English breakfast which was value for money. Have a good well stocked food shop with plenty of fresh produce etc. Very large car park so parking no problem. Have been here a few times now would recommend 100%

I had a large delivery of soil, compost and sand today and I have to express how very nice the delivery man was. I am elderly and a widow and he couldn't have been more helpful putting the sacks where it would be easiest for me to access them without having to carry them. A very personable and polite and very professional man. Although I don't know his name so I cannot mention him in person I feel his actions deserve a notice.

Tried out the restaurant first before checking out the garden center. Food was very nice and a decent portion, fair price for the food, drinks are a touch expensive at a bottle of water being £1.80 . We then moved onto the garden center and it was lovely. Best one in the area I think. Reasonable pricing for most things. Staff were lovely and very very helpful. If I need a garden center in the future, this is the one I will be going to - Would 100% recommend.

Absolutely amazing! The staff here went above and beyond to post out two worktop savers as I was heartbroken mine had broken. The packaging was superb and the goods arrived in tact. Absolutely fabulous! I am so very grateful for your kindness, it won’t be forgotten. 🥰

Incredible customer service. I ordered some wood pellets for my smoker. Unfortunately the wrong ones were delivered. The lovely people at Polhill sent the correct ones out AND let me keep the ones sent in error. Absolutely love customer service like this. Will Definitely be recommending to my friends / family. Great job.

Love going to Polhill garden centre, great place to browse, I always find something I never knew I needed. It is a little more expensive for there plants and shrubs but always guaranteed excellent quality. Their butchers make some wonderful flavoured sausages and the meat is excellent quality with some bargains to be had. You can purchase so many different items his, from toys, ladies wear, crockery, bird food and wonderful garden furniture. Their customer service is great. Nice restaurant on site and ice cream parlour with an outside play area for children. They offer afternoon tea in pods which look lovely. Their Christmas display and an items to purchase are wonderful even if on the expensive side but excellent quality and so different. There is a great aquatic shop on site with so many lovely fish. You can even feed the fish in the larger two tanks.

I have visited Polhill Garden Centre frequently with family. There is always lots to see and do. Today I took two friends and we had afternoon tea in one of the Tiki huts. The variety of sandwiches and sweet treats was amazing and such good value. Jack our ‘host’ was very attentive, checking if we needed any more drinks or the heating on - he was a real pleasure. A great day was had by all of us and my friends both said they were blown away by the tea and the garden centre and would be returning soon.

Wow. Heard about this garden centre through the grape vine and how brilliant it is and we were not disappointed. If you are an experienced gardener or just starting out this centre is perfect for anyone. An outstanding range of all types of products in a huge floorspace. Fantastic range of indoor and garden plants. Café and restaurant inside the garden centre as well as an aquatics shop, fire place fitters, kitchen renovators, large toy area, butchers, ice cream counter just to mention a few features. Everything is reasonably priced and great quality. You could easily spend a very lovely day at this wonderful garden centre. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Had a nice visit to this place on a Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed shopping with mum who likes this garden centre a lot. Staff were very lovely all around. Wouldn’t mind visiting sometime again on a weekend. 😊

This is a great garden centre. There is a very good variety of products for sale. Well stocked with good quality bedding plants, shrubs, fruit trees etc. All reasonably priced with some money off for multi-buys. The nursery also sells garden and indoor furniture, cold water and tropical fish. There is a huge shop selling all kinds of gardening tools and accessories. There is also a clothing section. There is an in-store butcher and a seafood store outside, next to the hot tub sales. There is also a cafe and Ice cream counter as well as a small shop selling fresh produce and packaged goods. There is plenty of parking available so this is never an issue.

We often go to Polhill and always enjoy our visits. More and more often we grab lunch there as well .. especially the roast dinners. The quality of the food is very good, no complaints there .. but today is the second time we've received luke warm food on a cold plate, which consequently is completely cold well before you have the chance to eat it. The new ordering system and hap-hazard service probably doesn't help this. The old self-service days ensured your food was always piping hot. Maybe we could go back to that now that the COVID panic has subsided?

This is the best garden centre I have ever visited. They have everything from plants to shrubs from pots to fish .There is a lot to take in so you can make a day of it. It boast 2 cafe's a butchers and a grocery shop ( which is amazing) overall fantastic

A fabulous day out,so much to see,so many lovely shops on one place, nice food,kind staff,took home lots of goodies and the fresh food shop was so well stocked with many unusual treats and all at very reasonable cost.

Polhil is a really lovely garden centre to visit. For an extra special treat book a Tiki hut for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea!

The only garden centre around that doesn’t allow dogs! Their reason is “health and safety” b&q allow dogs and how safe is that! You can still have rules such as no dogs in cafe’s unless you’re seated outside. They have a pet area that I certainly won’t be buying from knowing they are not dog friendly.

Been there before and had such a good time at the garden centre. Great displays, variety of plants, food and restaurant choices. Great staff and service 👏 👍🏻 👌🏻 I would recommend 💯% to anyone who is interested to go to Pollhill. No regrets! I don't!! Fantastic family 👪 day out too x

We went here today and thought we would try the restaurant, had to wait for a table not to long, ordered 2 baguettes 1 Belgian bun 2 coffees and 1 tea the 2 baguettes came up very quickly and we were told our drink would follow shortly. We waited nearly 30 minutes for them to arrive after speaking to someone., the Belgian bun was not very fresh. Don’t think I will be trying it again. I see you only comment on good reviews

Just had afternoon tea in a tiki hut with friends and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Food fabulous, fresh, plentiful and delicious. Service excellent. We had two sweet afternoon teas and one savoury and we were all very happy. There is a heater and the sides can be down if you’re worried about being chilly. Cushions and throws provided. For £19.95 it was a bargain we’ll all definitely go back. Brilliant 🤩
