My local B&Q store here in Sidcup - although I'm almost equal distant to the Eltham branch - has overall served me proud in the past with their custom, service and products. In fairness I found the price good and mostly of fine quality and standard. However, here is a market 'D.I.Y' highly competitive and many other specialised retail outlets in this trade to choose from. The staff here at the Sidcup branch have always been very kind and helpful and happy to please - by my own experience. The store and layout sizeable with two floors and a garden section at the rear of the store. Good lighting, clean with convenient walkways. Disabled access too. The products well displayed, but of course everyone has their favourite preferred shop. Easy to reach by public transport ( bus routes close to the store), and a reasonably sizeable car park that does have its busy moments ie.weekends. Always will rely on this branch in future. Keep up the good custom and service. Chris.👍 ......Wednesday 29/3/23 ( time around 1300 to 1400). Another worthy visit to B&Q Sidcup, my needs and questions all answered... thanks to a gentleman and member of staff in Henry. Henry, thank you ever so much for your kind, cheerful, knowledgeable help during my visit regarding loft insulation and materials. I enjoyed our useful and informative chat too, my DIY problems in question totally solved thanks to you dear friend! 👍 May I therefore mention and give reference for Henry to the management at B&Q Sidcup, fine praise and recognition of his services well deserved. Cheers Henry, you take care mate! Look forward 👍 to see you again on my next visit...you are a gem to the company. Best regards, Chris & my wife Patricia. 👍⚽️⚒🎖🏆

Definitely targeted at the weekend DIYer. You pay more for what you're buying but it's all ok display which makes it easy for those not in the know to make a decision. Staff knowledge is generally around price and no greater depth than that. But, it does the job.

This store has a great variety items. The aisles are wide and clear for easy moving. The self check out has staff to help. The lady who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. Overall very nice place to shop.

Always helpful. The CSR left his shelf stacking in the Tools Department to help me locate a Gardening item.

Car park was ramo but then my visit was on a bank holiday. Staff very helpful and I managed to get everything I needed. Not the largest B&Q but certainly well stocked. Have been here loads of times.

Friendly staff, happy to help. Well organised with variety of products. But this is a smaller store, for larger size plywood and MDF you may have to go for bigger stores. No cutting services either Plenty of parking spaces and easy to access from high street

Yesterday I had a really bad experience in this store, my 5 year old daughter urgently needed to go to the toilet, I asked the employee (if I'm not mistaken her name was Lizzie, a young woman) and she immediately replied that there was no bathroom, very rude, when I insisted, because a young guy had taken us to the bathroom once in the past at this same store, she said there was no staff to show us where the bathroom was. The store was practically empty, there was only one customer at the checkout and another employee would be free in a few minutes. But she was very rude and didn't even think about helping us. I said, "she's just a child". She didn't care. On the way to the car she wet her clothes. I only came back because I really needed to take home what I went to buy and there were three employees just on the short path I took inside the store, all of them unoccupied. I felt disappointed and humiliated, feeling very sorry for my little girl. She is just a child. There's no point going back to this store if we're not welcome there. Mostly a child.

Special Mention to Customer Service Advisors Ms Sally and Ms Sharon who went the extra mile to sign us up for B&Q trade card and delivering best service.

B&Q is my favourite tool shop in the UK. It is enough large with wide range of every diy tools and products with fair price and fantastic customer service. Actually there is nothing that I do not like about this branch.

Good quality DIY warehouse style shop. Works well for DIYers and trade. Great collection of lighting and paints.

Couldn't collect my click and collect product because I didn't have ID. Knew all the information required but didn't have ID so I couldn't collect it and wouldn't accept a picture sent from my partner at home of the ID. Then also couldn't get a refund because I didn't have ID. Just bought it off the shop floor instead which would have been quicker than the 15 minute wait for click and collect as I walked past it at the entrance to the store. Then had to wait a week for an automatic refund to come through for not collecting the item.

1 star is too high for this shop !!! Ordered kitchen to find loads of stuff was missing and was told that it’s a regular thing for there computer system to do that! Then have to pay extra for the bits when it was delivered we had over 3 faulty items I’m appalled at the customer service and will never be coming to this store again

Not the biggest or the best stocked DIY store, and has started appearing a bit shabby, but for most DIY stuff does the trick. Convenient location Plenty of parking

Only went to get some paint swatches to see what colour we might like. Wide choice range (almost too wide!)

A well laid out store with all the usual diy items. Not as big as the B&Q store on the Greenwich Peninsular but they still have quite a range of items. Staff were friendly and it's easy to park as they have their own car park. The interior of it could have been cleaner, but this may be due to the fact that it sells lots of sand, bricks, woods etc which must make it hard to keep clean.

Smallest store that offers the basics required for most home DIY projects. Staff are friendly and helpful

Lots of stock and variety, went for some paint and got helped by a very nice staff member to pick out some colours and sort testers. She took the time to actually help a clueless lad. Easy parking as well.

Given this rating I had to wait a long time to get served. The self scan tills were closed as we're other normal till. Waited yo be served at customer service desk. Wasted a lot if time getting out of store.

Staff try to help when you have a query, though you might get a junior who is unsure what is a rim lock. Also it is invaluable to actually SEE the actual product. Can't do that at Screwfix

I didn't not go ahead with my bathroom. As measurements where taken incorrectly. Very over priced, policy is not to let the customer see the brakedown. Very unprofessional

good selection of items, however staff were all just standing around.when we asked for help, they did not direct us to the item we needed but just told us an aisle to have a look down.we wasted a a lot of time looking by ourselves, just to be told that they got the wrong aisle.secondly, when we asked for help a second time, they all looked very disinterested and argued with us when we said they looked disinterested
