Large store set over 3 levels. The Lower is a carpark. Your going to get what you need in the way of groceries. Added benefit clothes. For me Tesco is slightly cheaper than Sainsbury's, so its winning.

- Highly unpleasant experience. - No baskets available as you walk in and generally not an easy store to navigate. It is really only good for parking and the free toilet. It offers the usual assortment of products as found in any supermarket. The main problem is the cramped layout and the rude and inconsiderate customers this place attracts. Lots of vile Karens who recklessly push their way out under your feet and then get nasty when you inevitably collide. This is made worse by the isles being too narrow and cramped, with poor visibily and plenty of places for these people to push their way out under you. These people and the lack of management action on this, ultimately make this store a hostile place to shop if you are tall, disbabled or are partially sighted. The car park is a hazard as again it is cramped and poorly managed. With the same Karens behaving inconsiderately, being pushy and stopping in difficult places, all making parking here more difficult than it needs to be and causes a risk of accidents. One older customer was looking for a staff member to help her lift a product down from a higher shelf, I did this for her as there seemed to be no staff available or caring enough to help her. Inflated prices for non Club Card holders is discriminatory. It alienates and discourages a significant segment of customers who seek variety in where they shop. I'm struggleling to think of anything positive to say about this shop.

Huge store, never feels packed and rushed. Excellent parking facilities and great choice. Clean and tidy, with hard working staff who are always helpful

Nice selection of goods but a bit grim inside to be honest. The organisation of the store leaves a lot to be desired. Things are a little hard to find if you don’t know the layout - why are the tinned tomatoes not with other tinned products etc and they don’t seem to carry basics lake grapefruit, at least on the day I visited. The staff were nice and helpful, only a short wait for a cashier (we used the manned checkout rather than self serve). Toilets and baby change are not nice. Parking is useful.

Good selection of groceries but a disappointing (experienced this 3 days now) experience checking out. As a foreign visitor, I prefer to pay cash for a sandwich, chips and a drink but everyday at this store there's either long lines (with full carts) at the regular checkouts or a long line of unhappy people at the **single** cash self checkout line (with many customers complaining and no store manager to be found; presumably hiding in an office somewhere). I encourage folks to go elsewhere if you want to pay by cash. There are many equally good grocery stores in the UK.

Fantastic store. Excellent selection of high quality products and produce. The staff in store and at the tills are always very helpful and friendly. My favourite supermarket in the area by far

The new checkout was closed and hardly any staff on the old checkout also big line for the old self service checkout wasn’t happy but managed to purchase my items after 50 minutes of waiting in the line and the old checkout system isn’t great as I scanned every item and had to get approval on all of it and I only got a few things like a birthday card and some blue paper confetti and the old checkout stopped and requested for assistance for approval on these items. There were 3 members of Tesco staff on their phones and not paying attention to customers at the checkout. Caused massive delay and needs to be investigated and improved as this is not right and I’m sure many customers were annoyed at the long wait

Good store. Pretty well stocked and has most things you could need! Handy hint - the upstairs (clothes, beauty and homeware) closes at 10pm.

I'm biased because I hate Tesco's the most. The clubcard scam alone is reason enough to avoid them at all cost. We're not dumb. We can see you just raised the prices of everything in store. The clubcard price is just the normal price it should be... Not a single deal other than the reduced section. Even then you'll pay £3 for a sandwich that's going off...

Very busy and well organised. All shelves in order with full of variety products. Found great deals on kids section, items less than 50% off you cannot miss it. Bonus, Vision Express for your convenience. All to do with great management. We'll done.

Great store, can be very busy. Always a shortage of the smaller trolleys so always best to grab one from the car park if you see one.

Interesting, of course.... Nice fashion this year, Greek key design dress, & easy to wear other options! Neat ideas for the home as well! Cafe is a good drop in place - ideally placed - Infront of the toilets!

So glad this isn’t my local. I went to the Tesco on 9 Augustus Ln, Orpington BR6 0NH A couple hours ago I went to the check out the older staff member max me feel rubbish. My till needed approval, apparently someone approved it from another screen somewhere, I thought they had to come over and do it on my till. I was waiting patiently for someone to come near, it wasn’t busy but I wasn’t in a rush. He came over and said “what” and just starred at me like he was a telling me off. I was stunned and said it needed approval. He just rudely just stared at me and said what again. I was kind of stunned so I just stayed quiet. Pure shock that he said it that rudely. How funny would it have been if I was actually underage and they approved it without seeing me. The other staff seemed nice enough and I wish someone else spoke to me. I hope he doesn’t speak to anyone else like that because no one needs to be feeling like that.

Despite being very busy with after-Christmas shoppers the store was fairly well stocked and the staff were friendly and engaging :-)

Some goods label saying take it to any counter and when you have reached the counter ,they have informed us to take to customer service once you reached customer service ,the item not their.???????? Change the labels give correct information please do not waste customer valuable times

Turn up Sunday at 1.30pm.. shelves are empty in several places. Expiry on fresh foods are tomorrow and there were no trolleys available. Terrible service from Tesco today.

I went into the phone shop at tescos where I've had good service before but not this time I could tell from his answers he did want to help and just gave tried to fog me off the people before he just just suggested they go to we shop I feel was only interested in selling phones not helping people

I really hate having to walk a football field just because I forgot something! Then as I was on the self service till (cards only) had to get supervision as every item had to be ok'ed! 🙄 Seriously??!!! £17 of lunch stuff n I felt like a fat bird at a skinny convention! Humiliating!

This one of the better Tesco branches as it's an "extra" branch. Had good variety of groceries and non-groceries (located on 1st floor btw). Vary spacious. Good car park in the basement which can get packed from time to time esp on the weekends. Overall I think it's not a bad branch.

We bought these rolls on 25th June without noticing the majority if it was mouldy because it was covered with the packaging. Don't expect things like this to happen so threw away the receipt and can't get refund. But take away is 1) tesco's poor quality control (it had not expired but something was wrong with packaging for it to become mouldy, 2) lazy tesco staff (just put it on the shelf on autopilot without taking the one with the mouldy spot out).
