OK, had an issue with bad service from a taciturn and scruffy check out operator and his equally rude supervisor whose only interest was what time she was finishing work. I have contacted customer services via Twitter and will update my review accordingly when they have concluded their investigation.

The downside of the store is the public facility very untidy and no very welcome as other supermarkets I have been a few times and looks like that never been clean so that’s why the low stars Do I recommend definitely yes is a good súper store yes needs some improvement Do I go back yes love it as is open a very early in the morning so is nice to be one’s of the first customer and pop in and pop out as it get very busy during the day

Everything under one roof. Except decent hot food. All I can say and I'm sure more will agree, is that the Sainsburys cafe, in any of their larger branches, is thoroughly missed. Your hot deli doesn't quite hit the spot. Pricing is good on other departments as well as availability, and the staff are great. Just bring back the cafe please!

Too many self scan checkout and you get locked in unless you scan your till receipt. The staff seem to think that this is okay. I will not be shopping in there again. I am not paid to scan my own shopping and do not like the fact that you're locked in until you scan the barcode. Welcome to the new world order. Not going back.

We shopped in the store this afternoon. We decided to have something to eat in the restaurant hub. We chose the fish and chips. The young lad that took our order and served us this was at 2 30pm. He was polite and very attentive he said that his day had been busy. He served us promptly and made sure we were satisfied. Just felt he needed some recognition for a job well done. Just checked our receipt his name is Alistair. He needs a pay rise for serving cleaning and all the other jobs he has to do.

First attempt at using SmartShop, and it seemed to go well. It probably took us longer than a trolley fill/checkout this first time around, but I am sure that won't be case in future. Don't be afraid to give it a try - you can see all the special Nectar prices as you scan the goods.

Often out of stock on popular lines and when I spoke to a "manager " on the subject of being out of stock of skimmed milk for 2 weeks,he said, and I quote "we get what we get" I was stunned by this response and used the "F"word not at him but at the situation and he threatened to ban me, a 68yr old man who has been a sainsburys shopper before he was born, great customer relations.

Huge store, staff very friendly and a good range of products available, I would highly recommend a visit, they have a good range of hot food available upstairs in the eatery - which is a great meeting place too. Free parking available for 4 hours. Recycling of bags, batteries and they have a coinstar machine for all your loose change. Photo Booth and Explorer learning at the very top of the store. TU clothing is upstairs and they are regularly restocked and the sale rails are very popular too. The Customer Service Team are great and nothing is too much trouble, they have mobility scooters available and wheelchairs too. They also have special trolleys for children with disabilities. They offer SMART SHOPPING here. They are mostly self serve but they do have normal tills at the top end of the store. They have a good range of free food items here too! 10/10 for such a large store, I am happy with all aspects of it.

It's a decent size and lots of variety. Great for lunch options, you have pizza station, sushi, hot food and standard meal deals

A huge branch of the nationwide behemoth. There is a huge food court, various clothing concessions such as Simply Be, Finery and Sosandar which can be tried on in the changing rooms. The range of homewear, clothing, and food is fantastic. The toilets, although dated and in need of a refurb, were clean, and there was soap in the dispensers. My only complaint relates to the length of checkout queues. The car park is enormous.

Large superstore, recent 'Restaurant Hub' addition upstairs is great. Clean store, toilets clean. Plenty of parking but lots of people parking in the parent & child spaces (without children) evidently unchallenged by staff who were watching - appreciate it's not their job but it meant that I had to park at the back of the car park, trying to get the buggy out with a new born baby in a tight spot - not great. I visit here multiple times per week and generally leave happy.

Have been using this supermarket for many years. When it was built it was meant to be the 'flagship' store. If that is the case then it doesn't say much for the rest! There is a good range of products and the shop is always clean. The issue with the store is the checkouts. I know that they want everyone to use the self-service checkouts or the scan-as-you-go ones to save paying staff, but the larger ones - for more shopping are hardly ever open! The queues for the manned till always seem to have 4 or 5 people waiting. The regular self checkouts are always busy & if there are a few people with trolleys it becomes mayhem!

Ultra-defensive attitude of bank employee was overridden by helpfulness and brilliant attitude of store security manager who aided me hugely with a personal matter.

Good selection of products, and find it much easier to shop now using the smart shop handsets. Makes it easy to keep on top of what you are spending. Also, the introduction of nectar prices has helped keep my shopping that bit lower. Obviously still in a cost of living crisis, but ill take the reductions where i can! The only downside to this store is that there aren't many parent & child spaces, and there's not much (if any at all) policing of the use of the spaces available from what I've seen.

I recently visited Sainsbury's and had a relatively average experience. The store was clean and well-organized, but nothing particularly stood out to me in terms of product selection or customer service. Prices seemed reasonable and competitive with other supermarkets in the area. Overall, I didn't have any major complaints, but I also wasn't blown away by the experience. It's a decent option for grocery shopping, but nothing particularly exceptional

I like this store it's always very clean and tidy the staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The layout of the shop makes it very easy to negotiate around the store. recently Sainsbury's have introduced necter prices and I must say the prices and very reasonable, have a lot of aldi price match items and offers I only thing I have a bit of a gripe about is the in-store cafeteria it's very expensive when you pay good money you should always get quality, the food is mostly cold and very small portions. Disabled park very good about 30-plus bays free parking for up to 4 hours. Just make sure that you display your badge correctly or you will get a tickit .

Good place to shop. Everything under one roof. Very large range of gods available. Nice wide Isles so plenty of room to browse. Easy parking and access.

Ordered breakfast on Thursday 15 December 22 While I was Waiting at counter I saw staff in kitchen pick up a fried egg off a customer’s plate with her fingers and put it on another plate then pick up some bacon with her fingers and put on a plate, also tomato with fingers I said to kitchen staff stop using your fingers use tools The manager came out and said staff hands are clean I said they should be using tools NOT there fingers When I got my breakfast it was the worst breakfast I have ever had. The sausage was cold beans cold egg hard very little butter on toast If you every want a breakfast NEVER go to (Ed’s) this place MINUS 5 out of ten

Just wanted to say thank you for the great service and quality Christmas food again this year. Online order pick up was straight forward and friendly. Actual food especially the large rib-eye steaks was superb. Even better, my saved Nectar points helped pay for it all. Thanks again and Happy New year!

Broad variety, helpful staff, and great food! Also has a plethora of Halal ready meals as well as fresh meat. My only gripe is a lack of frozen halal options. But it makes up for it with solid deals. Many varieties of porridge and ice cream flavours and a nice bakery. Also the smart shop feature is extremely convenient. Definitely recommend.

I'm standing outside by the taxi pick up point and I have just witnessed the most caring and sweet exchange with one of your staff members and an elderly gentleman, he's been waiting out in the cold for 40 minutes and she's come out, called the cab company for him, asked them to hurry and now she's sitting with him keeping him company until his ride gets here. She is an absolute credit to your store, wonderful to see, and thank you to the rest of the staff for working so hard! Update - she also assisted him in getting into the car with such care and sweetness (with his shopping);once it got here, a wonderful woman, I didn't see her name badge but she had red/brown hair in a ponytail and glasses

Had a home delivery from here missing 11 items. Called customer service to try to get it delivered the same evening. They couldn't get in contact with the driver (shock) as usual. Said would call me back that night. No surprise that didn't happen. I called again around 10am the morning after and customer service said they had no record of my call the night before. Re explained myself and we nt through order of items not delivered. She said I can't get them delivered anymore so I ended up with a voucher off my next shop. Really dissatisfied and disappointed with lack of care. Am considering changing my supermarket as have had a few problems which have not been resolved properly.

Had a great day at sainsbury's, it has such a buzz. I find the staff so helpful, always willing to help. They sell a variety of things from hot wheels cars to champagne.

Excellent store, very clean and tidy. Everything you could want from food and clothing also household products (home and ware). Clean toilets. Only thing missing was a cafeteria. Good check outs.

Been shopping here ever since they opened. Nice big store, lots of choices, customer toilets are always clean & tidy. Huge free car park, Argos inside. Must also highly recommend Thompson's key cutting, shoe repair service & engraving service just outside of Sainsbury's they are so brilliant & friendly, reasonably priced too. My only down side is when I do my online big shop more often then not I have quite a few items missing & a lot of substitutes.

👍👍 Large supermarket close to the city. Excellent transport links but most importantly a large car park for shoppers, 90min free parking. The front of the store has been redesigned and the car park is now on one level in the front of the store. The store is good size with all the usual products, lots...
