THIS FISHING COMPLEX IS A JOKE??? Im not inpressed with this fishery. there is dead fish in basil lake told the balif and he said he would get all 4 of the dead fish out and didnt do it. was there for a full 12 hr session try multipul baits ie pop ups maggots boilies sweetcorn and didnt have a single bit. the lakes are not maintained and this place dont care about the lifestock of fish and only in it for your money i wouldnt waste a single penny there again and only been there once.

Doesn't worth to waste your time and money... fishing for carp... Does worth fishing for pike on the season....

Plenty of fish , not always easy , 9 lakes to choose from . If one lakes not producing you can move to another one . Great complex , now clean and well run

Can anyone recommend these lakes. From the reviews, I don't think I will ever go here. I am a specimen fisherman. If you can't view the lakes how can you decide to fish due to the poor and bad reviews?

Was told book 24 hour in advance, called 9am the day before I wanted to go no answer, then a text saying fully booked, 👎🏻

Worst place i have ever fished in. Not a single bite was heard in 15 hours. I doubt there's any fish in Steve's lake when talk to other people that done 48 hours and didn't have a bite. Dead fish near the swims and just look at the water. Half of the lakes cant even be called lakes, they are puddles with swims every 3 meters.

absolutely shambolic place, no one had a single bite in 27h, place is dirty, rubbish everywhere, not taken care off and the fish quantity is dreadful. i would not recommend coming to this place as even the price is way too high just to catch nothing the whole time. stay away

Lovely day out. Lakes are close to the car park and facilities. Day passes available. Only caught a couple of little ones but there are big fish.

Fished here a few times now good venue cleaning up the litter could be better but lazy fishermen don’t help just take ya rubbish home with you also lakes like basil and terrapin could do with a dredge as very weedy and hard to fish.

I must admit, I do like D.F.C despite its lack of 'amenities' and today I fished willow pond which was quite tough going, probably because we are now slipping into autumn. I managed just two bream of about 1.5lb plus a feisty common carp that escaped due to my line being caught round the tip of my rod. What I do like is the fish are a bit of a challenge which keeps me on my toes.

Nice place, fished a few of the lakes, only success on long lake so far. Bailiffs a nice guy and has given some great tips which resulted in these fish, returning soon 😊
