The chicken is really so spot on omg. We came when they were about to close so they only had like 2 chickens left but we still enjoyed em and the burgers were so lit! We even received sausages for free. The staff were really very accommodating and we had a great time to cap out day. Definitely gonna order the bucket chicken soon! Come visit!

Crispy cod lives up to its name. A really light crispy crunchy batter covering large good quality fish thats fried in clean oil. Ive lived nearby for many years but never tried them. This is far the best i know for miles around. First place i visit when back from holiday. Takaway sit in and delivery service available. Called in again with a friend same amazing quality quantity.

We have been going to the crispy cod regularly as a family. Great atmosphere, very clean and reasonably priced. Great choices on the menu, something for everyone. My children love the milkshakes and fried halloumi. It’s a family run business that take pride in what they do, I can’t recommend anymore

The staff always make you very welcome You can even have a glass of wine or beer with your meal. I had cod and chips this week . Cooked to perfection and such good value. Almost as cheap as the takeaway Well done Crispy Cod. You deserve your high ratings See you again soon

Can't beat crispy cod. Nowhere sells fish and chips as nice as here. Really lovely fresh food, reasonably priced and nice people who run it.

Hands down best fish and chips shop I've ever been to and one been to many. If England wanted a flagship place to buy fish and chips this is it. It's been a while since we went here after moving home a year ago, but my have we noticed the difference even after leaving and having fish and chips elsewhere. Both before we found this shop years ago and after we left it being our local, we've not found any fish and chips shop to beat the taste. Service is excellent as always. Today my wife and I had plaice and chips; the kids having chicken and chips, and sausage and chips respectively. If you live near and like quality food don't even bother looking for another place.

Pop in every Saturday for elderly relative's chicken (occasionally cod) & chips. Reasonably priced, good sized portions, nice food and friendly staff. Not tried eating in so can't comment but always seems quiet with choice of seating.

Loved the takeaway so we came back for a dine in service. Friendly staff, food still as good, fried chicken is better than KFC. Unfortunately, curry sauce didn’t make the cut. It was not completely dissolved hence too watery. And they should have proper tartare sauce to go with that great piece of fish. The packet ones are just a no-no. Would we come back? Yes

The fish was crisp, hot, and delicious. Grilled cod w cabbage salad is a great choice! The Latte was great! Lunch Service was good. Unfortunately, the hot chips were plentiful but not as crispy as I prefer and a bit of a disappointment. I suppose we could have asked for crispier!

Excellent fish and chips. The best in the area I've tasted. Excellent kid option too. Excellent scampi. Nice friendly service. They truly listen to what you need. Thank you. One disadvantage is parking is a bit harder but carry on driving past crispy cod out of the high street and hopefully find some street parking around the corner. But it's definitely worth the trouble. We'll be back

OK First things first this is one of the best multi food takeaways that I have had the fortune to visit. The staff have great knowledge and passion for the products that they sell, service for takeaway is within a reasonable period of time(usually no more than a minute). The portions are massive and for the money I had double batterd sausage and regular chips (although there would have been plenty for two people) and it only cost £6 bargain these days. Now the eat in side was well kept all the empty tables were clean and the floors were cleaned no sticky patches. If you are in the area please go and visit this restaurant/ takeaway I personally can't wait until I'm back in Orpington to visit here again.

This is a wonderful place to get fish and chips. I travel with my wife and in-laws from Beckenham every two weeks and more when we can, to get our fix of fish and chips and it is by far our favourite place for this type of food. We have tried many places which never compare. We eat in and get freshly cooked fish and chips straight from the fryer in a very warm atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and really knows how to keep his customers happy. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and I know you will not be disappointed if you give it a go.

Absolutely fantastic haddock chicken and chop shop. Sooo tasty Not from the area but would recommend it any day. Great atmosphere great food. Wasn’t sure why another customer was served before me although she came in after me with. a much larger order but I’ll let that pass this time and see if that reoccurs next time

Honestly, the food, atmosphere and service are all perfect. They have a real talent for making you feel like you're visiting a friend's restaurant. They seem to remember every name and preference and will accommodate as much as they can. Can't praise the place enough.

I went there with my brother & sister in law. We really enjoy our Cod and chips. Nice and hot, service was outstanding. Going back there next, thoroughly enjoyed it..

My mum has always rated this fish and chip shop. Intact most of Orpington High Street seems to rate them, too, lol. I can see why. The portions are great. The fish is a generous size, and the chips dont taste like they're cooked in stale oil. I ordered chicken and chips. I didn't think the chicken would taste as good as it did, but the seasoning was lovely. I will definitely order from them again. Lovely staff, too.
