My first time trying Moe’s which I ordered using home delivery after reading several recommendations on our Neighbourhood app. Absolutely amazing fish and chips. Can highly recommend for a perfect Cod n chips. Enjoyable onion rings that you can bite into and eat properly without getting the usual string of onion on the first bite. Lovely Panko prawns. Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you Moe !

Gluten free cod and chips, homemade fishcake, mushy peas... It was really fresh and crispy. The fishcake is flavourful, thin crusted, a hidden gem and huge (£2.50?! I thought I'd get something half the size) Also from the packaging you can tell Mo cares about his food and is not wastesful - thick paper bags to make it breathable but keep heat in vs using cardboard boxes. I tried to order on Deliveroo once but didn't see the GF option so gave up. Calling to order and then collect is a breeze. On street parking is not bad (using Cul de sac nearby if the road outside's busy)

Excellent. One of the best fish I've ever had. I have travelled across all coastal towns in England, as far as Hastings, Blackpool and North Devon. This is superb in taste and quality. Mo's Fish & Chips of Orpington is on par with Britain's finest Fish & Chip restaurants such as Squires of Braunton in North Devon and Maggie's of Hastings in East Sussex.

The cleanest and neatest takeaway venue I have ever seen. All the bags and boxes are stacked and lined up in the most uniform build ever. To the food - freshly cooked using ground nut oil and gluten free upon request. Great tasting fish, sausages, mushy peas and chips 😀😀

Best chips ever, been coming here for years, my kids love it too. Mo's is amazing. Love the mozzarella sticks too. Definitely recommend!

I put in a big order for a family occasion amounting to over 20 servings. It was ready on time and everybody remarked upon how tasty the Fish and chips were. Really helpful staff. I highly recommend Mo’s.

I’ve been going to Mos for the past 6 years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. It is clear since Mo has sold up that standards have slipped. Today I ordered 6 cods, 2 large chips and a curry sauce for my family who look forward to a takeaway from Mo’s. The fish was overcooked and smothered in oil which ended up soaking the bag. The chips were an awful dark colour and looked like they had been cooked in old oil. Over the years Mo had the cleanest takeaway, but I noticed there were chips on the floor by the servers who appeared oblivious to the lack of cleanliness. I can see there is a complete lack of awareness from the current owner and staff as to the previous high standards set by Mo. I felt compelled to let the staff know and spoke to Sam when I got home. She made the excuse that because they were busy the chef may have overdone the frying, but I’ve seen the shop much busier previously and run like a well-oiled machine under Mo. Sam offered to give me something extra at my next order to compensate for my poor experience today which was nice of her, but I’d rather get what I’ve paid for. That’s nice of her, but I fear she’s missed my point about the decline in quality that Mo’s has always been renowned for. For a start, I’d make sure the guy who gets the fish isn’t just going through the motions.

Ordered 2 x cod and fish from deliveroo this evening and can honestly say i am very disappointed. Unfortunately the chips were extremely over cooked could hardly get my fork into it. Cod was really soggy too. Such a shame about the chips as even the flavour of them was not nice at all.

Went to Mos for fish and chips paid £12 50 when I got home all that was in the bag was a portion of chips, phoned them up asked them to deliver but they say couldn’t actually virtually calling me a liar saying she served me and there was fish in the bag, they said they would give me a a refund next time I’m in there, I’m here for just the day I asked if they could deliver although they said that was impossible even though Uber does deliveries for them. As far as I’m concerned they are a waste of space there the most expensive chips I’ve ever had , I’m a oap and it was was impossible for me to get back

A quality meal every time. Haddock or Cod top quality with perfect batter. Chips never been under or over cooked & great portion size. Staff always friendly/polite.

We ordered cod, plaice and one portion of chips for delivery. There were delays with the delivery as the driver had to head in another direction for a second delivery before coming to us. (Not his fault). The food was only just warm. The chips were very dark and overcooked. Both fish were overcooked with very dark hard batter that was not edible. Extremely disappointing. Not up to their usual standard.

Best fish and chips I've had away from the coast (and even better than some seaside chippies). The food is cooked to order and you notice the difference. Reasonably priced. It's all cooked in ground nut oil which adds a real freshness to the taste and it's less greasy than some other fats. The only downside is that I need to go for an extra run each week because I keep going back!

Fantastic service. Such lovely people and very helpful. Even timed the cooking of the fish & chips for our arrival. And the gluten free fish & chips are absolutely delicious, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and they are really careful not to cross contaminate. Can't praise this shop enough! Full five stars.

I Cannot believe how i have just been treated by the Owner Having been a regular customer for many years as i live nearby i am disgusted as i have just been shouted at by the owner I called in advance to place my order and was told 10 mins, on arrival i waited outside for sometime as i had my dog with me, after a while i popped my head in the door (holding my Dog in my arms so she didn't enter the Shop)just to let the lady know that i had phoned ahead & was waiting outside, but while i was trying to say this the owner went absolutely ballistic and shouting at me, therefore i went back out. The lovely young lady that was serving came out to me & i asked why he started shouting at me as i didn't enter the shop with my Dog and she apologised, i said it wasn't her fault & paid While walking back from the shop another customer commented on the situation to me and he himself couldn't understand why i was shouted at and treated in this manner When i got home i couldn't eat my food due to feeling so annoyed having been shouted at in front of other Customers and on reflection shouldn't have gone ahead and taken the order I am well aware of Health & safety & Hygiene and not allowing animals into places to eat I have done this on many occasions before and it has never been a problem with other staff Both Myself & Husband will not be using this place again as i have never been shouted at & made to feel so humiliated collecting a food order

Normally use Mo's but went this evening about 5.30 , had to give my order to a young lad outside, was then called in to collect my order, the guy on the till was very abrupt, I've got slight hearing issues, and 3 people were all talking about orders and do I want vinegar?, I didn't catch what the big guy on the till said, I just asked to confirm my order, you would of thought I'd asked for all the money out of the till, it seemed to be too much for him. Got home food was piping hot, but not normal standards, lots of crunchy scraps of chips, the sausage in batter my son had looked like it had lost most of its batter, and my cod was like cardboard over cooked and not very nice probably because it was so thin, never had this problem here before, went out of my way to go here, but won't be going back, I will spend my £17 elsewhere.
