Visited today. I've been going to Wimpys for 30years plus. My dad to one for over 50. New owner/ manager Babu was very friendly. This orpington branch keeps the wimpy standard alive. Will 100% be back

Nearby cafés were full, but this was empty, and they offer a breakfast option, so decided to give it a go. We ordered 1 breakfast (with tea), 1 burger and chips and 1 milkshake. Soon found out why it was empty. We had to wait 25 minutes before the food was served, and then it was missing items. Food itself was OK, but nothing special. The 'chef' did not know what he was doing and the waiter had to keep helping him. We dread to think what it is like when they have more than 1 table of 2 to serve. Will not be returning.

The experience was mediocre. Unfortunately, they didn't get our order right. Also, the food was average and overpriced. My partner enjoyed the wimpy float though. They have a kids menu too which is helpful.

Had an absolutely spectacular dining experience here today. The restaurant was in great condition and very clean, and the service was immaculate and extremely helpful. I would like to mention one Ross Thomson, who had been marvellously helpful and beneficial towards the experience. The food was delicious and hot, and would recommend it for anyone who is hungry. 5 stars by far.

Myself and Halima attended Wimpy Orpington a week ago. Babu the manager provided excellent table service, great conversation and made us both feel very welcome. We will both be coming back again soon!

I have been on and off going here for over a year and the manager is absolutely useless or owner who ever he is. Every time the order is wrong or an item is missing. When your trying to get lunch whilst working in a office time is of the essence. I have now stopped going here until its under new management myself and the whole office will not be going back. High price with low service. It is most definitely the worst cafe on the High Street.

I haven't been to a Wimpy for about 40 years, so it was a real "blast from the past" and very nostalgic. The burger, chips, hash browns and hot chocolate were good quality and the service was friendly and welcoming. I am a child of the 60s/70s and remember having Wimpy and chips with a choice of ketchup or French mustard 😁. My only criticism would be that the decor could do with refreshing.

First time here and had a fantastic customer experience. Babu (owner) was attentive and friendly. The cheeseburger was tasty, the place was clean & clearly well taken care of, and A+ service. Will definitely be back!

Wimpy is a legend of the highstreet and holds many childhood memories, nice food and good choice but is not cheap, street parking available right outside the restaurant.

Really lovely place, manager clearly cares about customers. Food is different than it used to be but the sauce is the same and burgers are really nice. I’ve never not loved the vibe and food of Wimpy’s

I brought our Ukrainian guest to Wimpy. She is a burger expert and gave the triple bacon cheese burger 10/10. We’ll done to the manager Babu, who was very sweet

Cheap and cheerful. It is what is is, a Wimpy. Classic selection, I've been a few times and its usually never busy - which is nice. Food is standard wimpy, so nothing spectacular but you could do much worse. Only note of advice I have is to sit in the middle / back portion of the restaurant, sitting near the front can be find but the in/out of ubereats drivers can mean it can be a bit drafty.

Tried their bean burger while waiting for the rain to subside. Great prices and impressive service from their manager. Would recommend this on a Wednesday when they have a special dine in offer definitely.

Absolutely cant beat classic wimpy food and it was cooked right in front of me quickly, could do with a few of the classic desserts on the menu like knicker-glory and banana split. I wanted to share my ice cream and nostalgia with my son but luckily he shared his with me and we went disipointed. Thanks guys, super friendly staff and very clean!

I had not been to Wimpy for many years, all have closed down where I live. On visiting Orpington I went to the local Wimpy for my tea! Very friendly and fast service. The staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was clean and tidy. I would throughly recommend.

We were served by Ross and a lady who were both very polite and friendly.the food was lovely and fresh with that classic Wimpy flavour that reminds me of the 80's

What a old school burger, brilliant. Plenty of chips with the classic quarter pounder. Service was good and friendly. All in all a good old skool experience, in a modern setting.

It's been a very long time since I went to a Wimpy and was very surprised by the experience I had at the Orpington branch. The server was polite, cheery and efficient. I had a classic cheeseburger with an extra rasher of bacon, cooked fresh on a brown bun and it was delicious - much better than McDonald's. I will definitely be back.

Friendly staff. Lovely milkshake but a bit pricey. Lovely and air conditioned on a very hot day.

Went to wimpy today with my mum and the owners and employees were very helpful! Friendly! And accomodating! I would defently be going there again!!! A great atmosphere indeed!!.

Was at the opening day . EXCELLENT service and food. Extremely helpful the milkshakes were superb. Service was was efficient. Well be definitely coming back. Place also looked clean and refublished. Excellent for families.

Wonderful service in the restaurant, the staff were so lovely to my 4 year old and gave him a balloon to take home. It made his day, also little games for kiddies at the table really helped. Will definitely be returning!
