Nice restaurant in High Street. Healthy meals, fantastic staff. Is our second visit to Ephesus, I'm sure that we will back again in next visits to Orpington.

Booked for mothers day lunch. They were great with my food intolerances. Decor and ambience is great, however we were disappointed with the food. It was all so bland & unseasoned. Maybe we picked the wrong things, all had fish!? My prawn cocktail starter, prawns were obviously from frozen, tasteless & full of water. Same prawns, only cooked on fish platter main, that my son had. Good size fresh, sea bass though!

Had a very good dinner with my friends and our daughters. The food portions are very generous and the local Turkish red wine was great. The service was lovely too. Will definitely be visiting again

Went for my daughter’s birthday We had an amazing meal and then to add to this great restaurant they had an amazing singer and also a Turkish dancer which just added to the atmosphere making it such an enjoyable evening We will definitely be back

Great place to eat. Have vegan options as well . At the weekend they have a live singer who plays the guitar and a lovely belly dancer !

Absolutely horrendous and will never go back. 5 of us ordered 5 different dishes which was ok but we've all been up all night with bad stomach's. In fact 20 minutes after leaving and going to a pub down the road we were in and out the toilet. There's obviously a huge hygiene issue here as all 5 dishes were contaminated with something. After looking on the gov food hygiene website I can see their last inspection was 6 April 2022. Maybe the council need to go back ! I gave the service one star as we were rushed and a 12 year old boy was bringing us our alcoholic drinks. Seemed a bit strange.

Went for a meal here on Saturday evening. Food is always fresh and well cooked. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. Ken the singer and guitarist adds to the mood. Had a belly dancer there too. Great night.

I've been here a few times and each time the food has been fantastic and the ambience lovely. On weekdays and Sundays the atmosphere isn't very loud so perfect for catching up with friends and family. The staff took great care with regard to my allergies, citrus and gluten and were able to assure me the food involved no cross contamination and so it was coeliac safe (I've never been sick after eating here). The staff were all really knowledgeable about ingredients in their food and really kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!

7 of us visited Ephesus again for another birthday celebration. Lovely atmosphere, being a Monday in November we thought it may be a bit quiet but there were plenty of people in there. Lovely food all round. Chap who served us was efficient, friendly and really on the ball all evening looking after all of his customers. Very attentive. Been here a lot and will continue to support this superb restaurant. Well done and thanks for making our special evening so successful. We'll be back.

Enjoyed a lovely meal for my brother's 59th birthday. We were a group of 8 and most had never been here before. Food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. The singer that was also performing was amazing and so was the belly dancer. A thoroughly enjoyable evening had by all. Thank you.

You know you’ve landed somewhere that impresses you when you make a video of your food, (I mean, do we do that these days)? And say to each other: Come to Ephesus and forget you are in Orpington for a while. We’ve only been living in Orpington for 10 years and never been here. We were so glad we’ve put that right as this venue, with its Turkish inspired food, complete with live entertainment when we came, transports you via all your senses to your favourite Turkish holiday destination. We are both blind and came with our Guide Dogs who were also made very welcome. The staff were more than happy to spend time reading the menu out to us and we felt that they were very aware when placing what we had ordered in front of us, telling us where things were positioned and making sure we had all we needed. Nothing felt like too much trouble to them. Prices are very reasonable for a restaurant which not only provide quality food and service but, throw entertainment in for good measure too. Again huge thanks to all the staff and the lovely lady in particular who spent time with us, happy to read out the menu. Fantastic!

Where do I start... I'm going to be really honest, this was my first and last time here. First off we were promised a live music which turned out to be more on the lines of mumbling some lines. The atmosphere was drab and non existent. The food was cold and tasteless. Most of my friends that went (12+) we couldn't finish our meals as meat was uncooked and carbs (rice / chips) were still frozen. We paid £30pp for a belly dancer, live music and a set menu, which is fair enough. The belly dancer was outstanding as always and was entertaining. Couldn't say the same about the service and fixtures. We asked for water a number of times and was then presented with a plastic water bottle which wasn't very clean with tap water and was told to share this across the table. We were not impressed. The reason for this was they had run out of jugs (btw no-one had jugs) or food for that matter. Timely delivery of food, didn't exist. We got to the restaurant at 19:30, we had some drinks caught up ordered. Starters came out at 20:50. We then entertained by shouting in the kitchen and what seemed to be a disagreement between all staff, other diners at this point started walking out without eating anything as they had waited so long. Then at 21:57 we were graced with our main meal which was half hot half cold. Rice was pretty much frozen, meat was hot but as mentioned before, some was uncooked. Not too mention the smallest lime in my 'strawberry daiquiri' which has literally no taste. We you can tell from the pictures these were not happy customers a lot of food was left... Yes a plastic container for my sweet and sour sauce instead of the promised aioli sauce. Bearing on mine the whole time we sat with our coats and scarves on as the AC was turned up so high our hands were turning blue. In conclusion, if you want to pay through the nose for cold, uncooked and unfriendly stay them please come enjoy (sarcasm).

Best restaurant I have been to in ages. I've been here a couple of times. The food was great and the waiter was superb.

I booked table a week in advanced for mother’s Day and asked for quite table out of the way if possible and they said yeah it’s fine table will be ready for you at 6pm on Sunday and we confirmed it on the day, when we arrived there was no table ready spoke to manager who tried to sit us in the middle of walk way when we asked can we sit somewhere else as there were few quite tables available he really rudely said if you don’t want to sit here then leave. That was absolutely disgusting behaviour from manager he ruined Mother’s Day for us then we left, we will definitely not be returning to this restaurant ever AGAIN.

I ate here on a Saturday night with a friend for my birthday, food was brilliant, we had the sharing mezze dishes. So much if it, we couldn’t finish it and took some home. I had wine and a cocktail, both very tasty. Live music & belly dancer was a fun touch. Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced.

Food tastes great but we ordered 2 fish lovers and only got 1 fish and what I thought was only 1 set of the other stuff (calamari whitebait etc) in one box, when we called saying we think they forgot our second fish lovers they told us no its 2 for 2 people to get 1 set and you can't order 1 fish lovers. So for £42 effectively you only feed 2 people. I did call back and was emphatically told that I am mistaken it costs the company £17 for 1 fish and I should contact just eat if I have a problem. Turns out just eat don't have a phone number any more. I will update when I hear back.

I booked a table for myself and four friends for a Christmas get together with the expectation of lively night with belly dancer. The food was ok, there was no atmosphere whatsoever but the worst of all it was freezing cold. When I complained the waiter bought out two small heater which were completely inadequate. It completely ruined the evening!!

Really great meal with fabulous service and live music. Highly recommend.

Booked for Father’s Day. Extremely dissatisfied! We waited very long for our starters and even longer for the main course. What was worse, we have all ( 6 people) experienced extremely bad stomach ache afterward . I will not be going back!
