the process was so painful. my cuticles were bleeding and so were the girls next to me. i asked for french tip with normal polish and they charged £5 extra? by using less nail varnish on me it ended up being more expensive. they only took cash which is ridiculous

Avoid this nail shop! Poor quality Whilst getting a pedicure the cuticles tool was pushed so hard that my toes were left bruised and in pain for 2 weeks after. I also had SNS done on my hands, which was even worse, he was in such a rush to finish it that he didn’t dip my nails from the bottom and left a gap also left lots of hardened SNS on my skin which wasn’t didn’t remove either. Spent 30 seconds filling my nails they look like shovels and every nail looks different. After 2 weeks the sides of my nails started breaking off which it has never done before when it should normally last atleast 3-4 weeks. I will never go back to this nail shop.

I used to come in this nail bar, but this time my manicure looks horrible, never again. I know his upset when i changed my mind to continue the nail extension and make my natural nail instead , and i noticed some dents and hair inside the manicure after and mess around my nails. Very disappointed.

Have been coming here since my hairdresser recommended them. Very happy with the service. Nothing is ever problem regardless what crazy idea I may have.

Don’t recommend. The quality of the manicure isnt great here and cuticles aren’t pushed back. Also on a few occasions have drilled onto the skin causing pain. Mainly though, the staff are rude and after me asking certain questions, will speak to each other and laugh right in front of you I now go to vie nail studio a few mins away which is much better

Best salon I’ve ever been. They always satisfy my needs. Also helpful and very kind people. It’s been 3 years I come to them and will be continuing.

Rushed Service! no respect towards the customers and so overpriced. They are also overworked therefore they are rushing to finish the job. Rude arrogant and ignorant. Also they talk behind your back in their language. 😀

absolutely awful service turned up at half 12 which was the booking time and didn’t get seen until 1.45. My cuticles are also bleeding and dry, as they are not done properly, as well as my nails being done extremely roughly because they were rushing so not a pleasant experience at all.

My mom and I went for pedicures and my mom specifically mentioned that we both wanted pedicures. They completely forgot about her and we ended up leaving after mine were done due to having to wait for so long (we were sitting and no one was attending to us but attending to other customers?). Staff are also unfriendly and I found them to be quite rude! Also does not state anywhere inside the salon or on display that card isn’t accepted.

Always friendly, always try to fit you in as quickly as possible, everyone is lovely and nails are always done to a high standard. They do BIAB, SNS, gel polish, acrylic.

My daughter and I went to the salon today to have our infills done they are the worst I have ever had done our nail are very rough where they have not been filed properly also the polish is lumpy I places they have filed my daughters nails a completely different shape to what she wanted will not be going back and was charged more than what is advertised very very dissatisfied would not recommend them

Welcoming friendly and efficient staff. I have enjoyed the gel pedicure which last 6 weeks and SNS nalis which easily last 5 weeks.

Sns nails done every 3-4weeks for years the service was very rushed But last time I went 2 nails chipped in 2days so I went back to get it sorted then the next day another one chipped the n another one by the end of week one they looked terrible and I couldn’t go back again as I was working so I had to remove them myself They have lost my custom now as I will not go back and my nails underneath were ruined ( and is supposed to be gentle on your nails )

I am deeply disappointed with my experience today, I went to get my nails and pedicure done for my 40th birthday. I don’t normally have any problem there but today was different. I was asked to pick a colour, I had difficulty choosing a colour, I was also asked if the wanted the extensions as my nails were short. I asked how much extra this was, then said yes. I asked the chap who normally does it for some help to find the colour I had before with the French tip. He seemed short with me and picked out a colour so I went along with it. My nails were started and my nails were not being dipped in for the french tip. At first I thought maybe it was because it was a different person doing it but when I questioned is this the colour going under the french tip I was told no. But I said that is what I asked for, both people were very abrupt and said we will have to start again now. I wanted to colour chart again to check the colour as it did not appear to be the correct colour. Both members of staff were not happy, I asked again about the colour I had before and was made to feel very uncomfortable so ended up choosing a colour just to get my nails done and get out of there. I also queried the price as I was supposed to get a pedicure and was quoted a different price on the phone. I know the extensions were going to be more but I just wanted to understand the price and said the French tip was more. I never have been charged before. The chap seemed very rude and seem offended because I was asking questions. Every time I asked a question they kept taking to eachother so I could not understand and also laughing. They continued to do this, so I asked what was being said and then was ignored. I was asked what colour I wanted for my pedicure. I was going to pick a colour. But was really upset and just wanted to leave. The guy said he will charge me the price I was quoted but. Said I no longer wanted it. But he kept saying the same thing. Eventually I got up to pay for my nails and loyalty card stamped, I was charged normal price. It was still not the colour I wanted. I will not be going back. I am very disappointed.

I have only just started coming to this place and really pleased that I did … I had a full set of Acrylics and they did such a great job, price was very reasonable too! Was so pleased and will definitely be recommending … Thanks again and see you soon :)

Lovely friendly staff. Pleasant easy going environment. I have both manicure and pedicure done and am always delighted with both. I have never been let down by them. They are competitively priced and offer a loyalty scheme.

It's quite unfortunate when even after being a repeat customer you are not serviced for the amount you are charged. I have been visiting this place for months now. I went there for a gel paint today and requested a double shade, I showed a sample picture. The person who did my service just ruined it for me just before my Christmas party, the service experience in itself was very stressful and surely wouldn't have be going there again. I was charged more than always just as I asked for 2 shades which surprisingly I have done before at same cost. Attached pic of what i asked for and what was done to my nails for extra cost ... I'll have to surely spend more to get this fixed now after the holidays, so so so disappointed!

Got my nails done, several staff so little waiting, just chose the colour and got started, friendly chatty staff reasonable price

This place was the first we visited and we didn't regret it they were friendly and cheerful mu friend had a pedicure while I had acrylic nails with gel on top both looked amazing thankyou so much we will return

Sadly, I have had to change my 5 star review to a 2 star. This used to be the best nail place in Orpington; affordable, reliable and great quality. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years, but it has really gone down hill. There has been an increasing atmosphere of rudeness from staff and last week I had a particularly horrible experience that left me very panicky and upset. A lady working at the reception was behaving very strangely. The bar wasn't very busy, but she was breathing down my neck, staring at at me while someone else did my nails and just generally making me feel really uncomfortable. She was very rude and pushy and practically forced me to choose a colour I didn't particularly like, but I was just desperate to get out of there. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. The time before that, I asked for tips on a couple of shorter nails and a lady put on the thickest SNS layers so that 2 of my nails looked ridiculous, I had to come back and ask for them to be re-done. It's a real shame, but I will not be returning to My Nail Bar :/
