Cake excellent & a drink highly recommended. Food also good on earlier visits & really flavoursome .. but a new cook I spotted in the kitchen is watering down the soup I fear, & the flavour has gone as a result. Disappointed also last time when egg on toast failed (one broken egg, over cooked on two pieces of hardly toasted bread) & soup & a "roll" ended up as stated watery,lacking substance & one small slice of bread..A real shame as front of house servers are lovely, & thought I had found a gem.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. my friend and I popped in for lunch. after being told a few things from the menu were not available on requesting we had a chicken cheese panini and a veg burger. The panini came first with what looked like cut up chicken nuggets with a slice of cheese and some sauce. did not expect chicken nuggets. in a panini the veggie burger arrived - with a white cold bread roll - a burger patties in the middle - two small blocks of butter and then I was asked if I would. like any sauce - so asked for ketchup. I then had to try and butter my cold bread roll and eat my cold burger containing no salad, no sauce - nothing.! Really disappointed !!!!! never going to choose this. place for our lunch again.

Excellent espresso, pastries, hot chocolate, location, and ambiance. This coffee shop is indeed a great place to kill your time, do business, and to study as well. The coffees and hot chocolates they had was so delicious. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. The place was so cozy. The decorations were so cute. Highly recommended.

Cream tea was awful. Scones were dry and it came with butter instead of clotted cream which I asked for. Even though I confronted to the waitress/owner and they still lied and said it’s clotted cream. Sandwich was pretty basic as well.

I bumped into Bru lounge by chance today and had one of the favorite Srilankan rice and curry. I really recommend this place, staff is very friendly. Also, I had most amazing latte after a long time. 🤩🤩🤩

Excellent Ceylon tea. Delicious coffee and the food is amazing! Great atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

My family and I,visited The Bru Lounge this afternoon. Apart from the warm welcome from the family run buisness. We thoroughly enjoyed our freshly made food. The homemade soup, the freshly made panini, the homemade cake, was yummy 😋 This was our first visit, with many more planned visits to follow.. Thank you Bru Lounge. Good luck with your new venture.

The staff are all so lovely and welcoming, ever so helpful. Such a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I was able to have such a lovely day and was made to feel so comfortable by the family who own/work their who provided such a wonderful service to myself and all my guests. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, fresh, hand made and everything I could have wanted! I highly recommend Bru lounge for a coffee/tea, food, lunch/ afternoon tea, savoury snacks, ect This place really was perfect in every single way. X

Had a lovely lunch here today. Panini and tea and a delicious slice of chocolate fudge cake. Very reasonable prices.Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
