This is the kind if pub everyplace needs! Great drinks, good food and a friendly atmosphere. This place does a great selection of reals ales, wines and cider. The food menu is select with traditional pub fair like Scotch eggs and sausage rolls but also serves great meat and cheese platters.

Lovely little “pub” with excellent beer choice…

Love this place, have been several times, however on this occasion was slightly disappointed with the cheese board, had 3 pieces of cheese, one cheddar and 2 blue - normally in the past the selection has been far superior (soft, blue and cheddar) hopefully this is a 'one off' Thank you for your response we visited the cockpit on 16th December

Very friendly staff and also customers. Menu board changes but with real ale and cider. Wessex gin is the best. Can sit inside or out. Please give this place a try .

If You are in to Real Ale, it's a must, staff are Brilliant the Real Ales are top notch and the ambience is real nice. Well worth a visit. Not tried the food.

I've been wanting to visit the Cockpit since it opened, and I have to say it did not disappoint. Wonderful ambiance, great brews, and a fab looking menu to boot! Can't wait to visit again soon!

This really is a little gem of a place with some superb beers on tap. Great, friendly staff and a real community feel... They also cater well for dogs with a jar of treats and the offer of a water bowl. Easy to see why this place has won awards.

Lovely little pub, beautifully decorated with good space management. We didn't eat due to a dinner waiting for us at home. The gentleman that served us was friendly and welcoming and happy to let me try the IPA before purchase, I highly recommend if you like a decent pale ale or IPA for a good price. And it's Dog friendly!

Superb selection of cider, wine gin etc.. Boards updater regularly with new brews, Friendly staff, very helpful in choosing to ones palette ! Recommend the Smorgasbord 100%. Lovely independent Business within selling Flowers, reefs, cards etc.. lovely place all round, cosy and quirky !

What a great place. Great staff and an excellent selection of craft beer. Knowledgeable staff that can go in depth about each beer to help you decide what to have. Busy on a Friday evening but manageable getting served. The pricing of the beers is such a nice change. The ones on offer to us ranged from £5.90 a pint, all the way down to £3.90! Not having to get a second mortgage every time you get a round in, is a pleasant change. Definitely recommend this place for a night out, especially if craft beer is your thing. (a selection of wines and spirits are also available)

A great selection of beers, wines and spirits with friendly service and an ambience that is rare to find in larger more commercial drinking establishments. These are people who understand the importance of great service at reasonable prices. Arrive early otherwise you may have to stand.

Excellent micropub, great range of beers, cider and wine which changes on a regular basis. Shares the space was a florist which helps get rid of the pub smell!

Fantastic micro pub. Can get busy but worth a visit for any lover of real ale. Large range of casks all perfectly kept. Friendly service. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

Have been here many times since it’s opening during Covid (there’s confidence for you!!) Always buzzing. Almost don’t want to praise it, it’s such a great little gem. Welcoming and friendly ambiance, great outside space, delicious food platters and tasty artisan ales. Dog friendly too. Recommended!

Always guaranteed a warm welcome. Small, friendly micro pub with a good choice of beers and wine. Also do a small selection of light bites including sausage rolls, pork pies and scotch eggs at £7.50 - very tasty, packed with meat and nicely served. Flower shop inside adds a pleasant smell and a splash of colour. Just a shame we don’t live a little closer.

Great variety of brewed on site, straight from the keg ales, IPAs, and stouts, at really good prices. Staff are really friendly, decor and atmosphere is good. Only gripe is it closes quite early.

Good choice of ales and there was a quiz taking place when we were there. Parking could be a problem so best to go by public transport (bus). Very unsual the way into The Cockpit is through a florist.

Lovely relaxed real ale bar with friendly staff and an ever changing array of different beers.

We had some lovely beer and then went astray on the excellent stout. What a magnificent place with first class staff.

One of the best places I’ve ever been in Chislehurst - I’d recommend a glass of bubbly and ask for a choice of the wines too - the place is amazing and very gay friendly along with being very homely Xx lots of love

A great place with really friendly service. The beers are brilliant. The chalkboard listing the beers is constantly changing which means every visit is a different experience. Wide selection of wine, gins and artisan ciders to choose from. Lovely outdoor seating for the warmer months and food platers offer hearty fare - scotch eggs, pork pies and charcuterie. If you need helpful advice choosing your beer of choice the knowledgeable staff are always more than keen to assist.
