Arrived at the hotel to a friendly receptionist. But that's about as good as it got. The hotel room was filth. Bed was all made fine. But the bathroom was a total mess. Patches all over the floor, stains on the sink. Towels been used. I'm not one to complain but this was none the wiser. I was not paying for that room so I asked for another room. Outside the rooms were very messy; Looked more like a hostel. I believe the hotel has people living here. Most of these were foreigners.

Stayed at Travelodge's Sidcup branch for the first and last time. The gentleman (and I say this loosely) who greeted us on 5/03/22 at around 4pm, later on came and knocked on our room (after 10pm) to say we were being loud and that we needed to turn down the TV (which I can understand). He also accused us of having "more than 2 people in the room" to which I replied we did not and that he needed to get his facts right. He then threaten us to have us thrown out the hotel if we continuted to argue with him! Power trip much? Why because we were insisting that there was no one else in the room? And even if there was (which there wasn't) but where does it say that we are not allowed to have guests in our room visiting? What made matters a 1000 times worse is the people a couple doors from us, had been playing music from the moment we arrived. We did not complain. To make matters even worse they had been smoking weed and the smell was evident in the whole corridor. This was not dealt with, yet we get told we will get thrown out for having the TV on a little loud? Racial profiling us much? Absolutely atrocious customer service. He's lucky I did not catch his name, I would have named and shamed him! I would not recommend, nor stay there again even if it was free! Plus the hotel's room floor is shocking, creaking every where you walk in your room. Shocking!

Stayed here before and it was perfectly pleasant. Unfortunately this time had a terrible stay!!! Stayed on 1st floor overlooking car park and was awake until early hours: -Staff- man on reception rudely told me it was closed until 2.15pm as he was on conference call. Told to park in Waitrose! -Underground car park, large groups of people hanging around, drinking alcohol with tonnes of rubbish. Some bays closed due to fly tipping. -Ridiculously noisy all night! Groups of young people opposite and next door with loud music, drinking, partying. Corridor stank of Weed, room nearby was smoking out of window however the smell inside was awful. -families with kids running around upstairs. Above entrance in car park rooms, housing asylum seekers (not noisy) but storing their food/ drink on window ledge and smoking out of windows -during night cars drive around to back entrance, below rooms, playing loud rap music Pro’s are that the lady who came to do the afternoon shift was great. I reported the Weed smell and she responded immediately, not sure of outcome. She was readily available and very friendly. Room was comfortable, clean and lovely & warm.

Most discussing place to stay, through no fault of their own it's full of homeless people and no staff present to help, no hot food or fresh water, rooms are as basic as you can get, bed, telly, and one plastic chair and desk, you can purchase a breakfast box, for £5:50..... which contains child like portion of corn flakes, milk ,oat bar and a totally fake panachocalate and don't forget the 150ml juice, so avoid this place and go to the premiere inn, far better 100%genuine post

We knew that we were staying in a no frills hotel but it was as basic as a 9p can of beans. The Guy on the desk was friendly enough but the room was dark and dingy, just a bed and one plastic chair and didn't have a lamp. We shall be booking earlier next christmas to make sure we can book Premier Inn which is also classed as budget but is so much better.

Rooms very basic, no storage, no hairdryer and basic tele. No bath and after taking a shower the shower head dripped all night. The escutcheon on the toilet inside door handle was missing and one towel has a lipstick stain. Not impressed - was not what I expected from a relatively new hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the family rooms for one night. Was spacious and had everything we needed. Would certainly use again when visiting family.

Basic hotel. Our room was snug and very warm, no air con. Shower was a cubicle and tight. Only experience of service was checking in and out so a 2 star for ticking a box. Location was ideal for my visit hence a 4. Downfall is car parking, plan this in advance

It was very quiet. No entertainment around. The room was ok but the hand basin in the bathroom was leaking. No one at reception when checking out. The girl was very friendly but I forgottotellher about the sink. Andrea was her name.

Only an overnight stay after a party, literally slept, then left, was woken by kids running in coridoor but apart from that it was great, helpful staff sorted a parking space for me, and arranged taxi

Not the best Travelodge. A bit tired. Had an issue with the electronic key not working, that took two trips to reception to fix - by giving me a different room, where the key worked. Fire doors wedged open, because key locks not working on these either.

Poorly maintained bathroom, 2nd week same room, toilet still broken and shaver socket loose and exposed, and bathroom door with broken catch. The dim lighting in an already dark room doesn't help. Room was clean, hence 2 star

Clean room, quiet, things in order. A room for the night. Shower a little weak but fine. One minor thing they need to sort out the pigeons, cooing in the morning is cute but soon wears thin. Room could do with a fan assisted heat/cool but temps fine.

Very poor service very poor house keeping staff on 9 /1/22. I paid for late checkout and agreed to go at 3 pm. They came and knocking on the door from 2 pm. Shouting and very disrespectful because house keeping staff need to finish their job and go home quickly.Reception gentleman was very disrespectful. No apologies or treating as customers to us. Will not recommend to go there.

OK Travelodge, staff were great but car parking is disgusting and not secure. The room was typical Travelodge, but it had a window that couldn't be closed over a busy roundabout, so constant road noise.

It meet my expectations. I knew it was a cheap hotel so I knew it would not be 5 star quality. I have highlighted below issues people may come across. Good points- The room was large, plenty of space to walk around, the bed was comfortable and clean, the curtains were blackout, there was no excessive noise from inside or outside the hotel, The shower was easy to use, easy to control the temperature and had a good water pressure. The room looked and smelled clean and fresh. Bad points- There is no sockets by the bed, there is no air conditioning, the lighting is very dim. One issue I had was everytime I left the hotel my card would deactivate, even though I kept it away from my phone. I stayed for 4 days. The receptionist was helpful, friendly and sorted my card out each time but it was frustrating and time consuming getting all the way to my room on the 2nd floor to have to come back down to reception. The location was great too- walking distance to sidcup shops regular buses to nearby towns.

Rang up to find out if our booking had been confirmed today, got a receptionist who repeatedly asked me what the confirmation number was on my email despite my telling her I did not have one. Transpired she could not get into the system. I was in tears at the end of this. Absolutely dreading being there.

Nice and friendly staff, stayed for one night , apart from early morning traffic noise it was a good clean hotel with plenty of local shops, , worth the price.

It is a good value for money... but not in the summer! No air condidtion in the room and window is not opening more than 5cm. It is almost imposible to sleep because of the heat!

Desk staff were all helpful. Hotel was dirty and smelly. noise all night. main entrance was more like a meeting point for homeless, pissheads and crackheads. Didn't expect to be sharing Hotel with mental patients (no prejudice) awaiting place in hospital. Police and ambulance called in early hours due to knife incident. Overall, this place is a dirty shix hole and has put me off shixxy travelodge for life. Avoid if possible.

Staff were polite, friendly and helpful but that was were the nice experience ended room was roasting hot with hardly any ventilation we booked two rooms as there were 5 of us had to only use the one room as when we entered the second room at 9.50pm and then left as my son had forgot something was moaned at by another young guest about the noise when all we had done was entered and exited the room at 9.50pm would of gone to complain but in the foyer was a gang of youths getting drunk and smoking and staff were hiding in there office and check-in desk was closed this is not a hotel it is a hostel and for my young children quiet a scarey experience and would definitely never return it was really a disappointing experience

3 different key cards not working. Twice had maids try to enter the room while still occupied. Apart from that, as good as usual
