Horrendous.
I
would
warn
anyone
against
this
place,
particularly
female
travellers.
It
is
outright
dangerous
and
I
would
be
surprised
if
a
serious
crime
doesn't
take
place
here
due
to
the
horrific
negligence
of
the
owner.
When
I
arrived,
the
taxi
driver's
first
words
were
'there's
a
naked
man
out
front,
are
you
sure
you're
going
to
be
safe
here?'
No
staff
at
all
in
the
building
over
the
weekend
and
people
openly
smoking
weed
by
the
propped
fire
door,
which
was
wide
open
the
whole
time
I
was
there.
All
the
room
doors
were
left
unlocked
with
keys
sitting
inside
--
literally
anyone
could
have
come
in,
for
theft
or
to
ambush
a
vulnerable
visitor.
Someone
threw
something
at
my
window
within
an
hour
of
arriving.
Naturally,
I
immediately
tried
to
leave
only
to
find
that
the
owner
was
uncontactable
all
the
next
day
(still
no
staff
on
the
premises).
Neither
the
hotel
chain
nor
the
booking
website
could
get
hold
of
him.
He
then
refused
point
blank
to
refund
me
despite
admitting
he
had
seen
the
whole
thing
on
CCTV,
telling
me
it
was
a
'workmen's
hotel'
and
it
was
my
fault
for
booking
in
when
I'd
seen
the
reviews.
He
finally
turned
up
the
day
after
only
to
round
on
me
in
a
stand-up
row
in
the
car
park
with
two
burly
male
employees,
calling
me
a
man-hater
and
every
other
name
under
the
sun
and
asserting
that
the
whole
thing
was
fine
because
it
wasn't
him
dealing
drugs,
so
none
of
it
was
his
responsibility.
Also,
the
naked
guy
wasn't
a
threat
because
he
was
'wearing
shoes'
and
I
was
paranoid.
In
passing,
he
let
slip
there
were
12
male
guests
and
only
1
female
(me)
--
then
ranted
at
me
about
how
there
aren't
ratios
and
'he
has
a
17-year-old
daughter',
as
well
as
making
unspecified
threats
about
what
would
happen
to
me
if
I
used
my
recording
of
the
conversation.
I
ended
up
walking
in
the
dark
for
2
hours
down
the
A40
to
get
away
from
that
place.
As
a
side
note,
the
rooms
were
microscopic,
not
particularly
clean
and
there
was
only
one
female
toilet
in
the
entire
set
of
buildings
(filthy).
I
had
to
put
my
laptop
on
the
windowsill
and
my
suitcase
on
the
bed
because
there
was
no
floor
space
for
it.
Please
think
again
before
going
here.
It's
cheap,
but
if
you
can
possibly
afford
somewhere
else,
I
hope
you
will.
You
can
get
past
a
tiny
room,
but
the
real
problem
is
flimsy
locks,
no
security
and
a
completely
indifferent
owner.
If
you
get
in
trouble
here,
it
is
way
out
in
the
middle
of
nowhere
and
you
could
easily
end
up
in
serious
danger
with
no
one
to
go
to
for
help.
I
would
warn
any
woman
in
particular
against
this
place.
